Sexually confused? This guy was confused, desperately, on multiple levels. Full blown psychopath.
Stop making fun of his sexuality you racist.
Repression will twist the mind
He was confused in many more ways than 'sexually'.
Yes, being "confused" about your sexuality doesn't remove all self-control and empathy and turn you into a maniac.

Hats off to the officer who survived, what a terrible situation to have been in.
He at first ran like a coward and let his buddies get killed. But then after getting some distance he did man up and comeback into the fight. The other cops harassed and ridiculed the shooter and created the whole situation and then clocked, shift change.

Interesting. Wonder if the hs had lead paint or asbestos
Interesting the Hernandez case also involves bi. I wonder if there’s a coach or somebody who abused these guys.
Ambushes are so despicable. Those officers were just doing their job and they weren’t even the officers that he interacted with earlier. He just wanted to act out his rage and take it out on others. Probably wanted to die too but some people can’t do that without taking others with them.
At least he was so drunk he f’ed up his weapon and the surviving officer was able to take one hell of a shot.
That's the excuse you ass kissers always use..."just doing his job".
Seriously, people who know guns know how incredible of a shot that is under stress and after already being shot yourself.
Lots of people out there, confused or not looking for an excuse to use their weapons .
There's a lot of supposition by this so-called counselor or whatever he is but the reality is that the guy doesn't show any evidence of being confused about his sexuality. I watched the entire police bodycams of this incident, it was difficult to watch. The police that made the traffic stop seemed totally inept. Texas cops would have handcuffed both of them about 90 seconds after the stop, arrested the driver for DUI and the passenger for interference.
Probably following Connecticut policies
I'm thinking they were afraid of a physical confrontation with him, so they chose to let him go instead.
@@fedup7416 Nicholas was a large man, but was heavily outnumbered by police during the intial traffic stop. They had more reasons to arrest him (and use tasers) than i can easily list and their 'inaction' cost two innocent lives 😟
I think there's more to the story in regards to why the initial traffic stop was botched so horribly.
It was a weird interaction. Amongst all the tough guy talk one cop tackled him in a playful manner.
I saw the whole video myself and could not understand why the officers acted like they did. It feels like there is more to the story in regards to that botched traffic stop. They had plenty of reasons to arrest him and legitimately use their tasers during that stop. Looked like a Reno 911 episode at certain points.
Unfortunately two innocent men lost their lives because of this 😢 RIP

I saw the bodycam video. Nicholas was shoved down by one cop and got his pride hurt. The video also showed the later encounter. It wasn’t even the same cops
Also the cop he’s was friendly with and asked for when they were first pulled over ended up being one of his victims.
Thank you for sharing this. Dr. Grande inexplicably left that entire part out. And you're right, that's probably why he got so upset. And I didn't realize it was different cops. Their entire roadside argument was bizarre, I was hoping for insight into that, and he just completely ignored one side of it. I don't know why they didn't arrest him then and there, and their behavior was instigating as well. Not that it justifies it, just adds backstory. I don't know why Nicholas didn't use his fists then and there either. He chose to be a murdering coward instead.

He put the magazine in upside down. 🤭
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the utter incompetence of the police officers who conducted the traffic stop.
They were not incompetent. Nick and Nathan broke no laws that didn't require a citation which they received. The mom drove them home. The reason the 1 officer that pushed Nick to the ground did was a person cannot get in an.officers personal space. Yet Nick tried again later and the officer remained calm but asked other officers to remove Nick. My only issue is that police depts need to change the way they deal with calls for welfare check or whatever ambush Nick created. I've seen body cam after body can of police getting killed on no knock warrants and wellness checks.
@@shimmer8289I'm pretty sure they were drinking at the bar before driving away ...
@@shimmer8289 everything you said is bullshit.
@willthebeast80 I never heard anything mentioned about a dui for Nathan he got driving with suspended, and public disturbance citations. Nick got public disturbance and was threatened with littering. If the police officers failed to detect a dui on Nathan I'm absolutely sure it will be unearthed after this scrutiny.
@shimmer8289 you have an awful lot to say about the situation without watching the full video, which is obvious you haven't seen. It's on RUclips
His brother should have been investigated for a DUI during the initial traffic stop and he should have been arrested for disorderly conduct. None of that happened and the entire stop was nothing short of chaos. They were let off lightly because they knew one of the officers. Things could have worked out differently if not for the "good ol' boy" system of justice.

The police cam footage of this is the most horrifying video on the Police Activity channel. I watched it before bed the other night and had trouble sleeping. There is just something really unnerving about it
I saw it too.
Agreed. Truly awful.
I can’t watch that stuff, but I’m fascinated to know what the Police energy was like in response to this guy’s ridiculous behaviour.
What context was the ‘people are proud of you’ statement made?
Was that an attempt at building rapport and trying to get him ro reflect on how others might be ashamed of his conduct? Or a sarcastic statement or insult.
Would be terrible if an off hand sledge was enough to make a man murder.
The fact they cut out the beginning tells me they were in the wrong or this was avoidable by the officers in some way. The moments up to the incident are crucial; but of course "not available"... hmm.
@@PsyopAgentProvocateur At the traffic stop, one cop said something like “I’m sure they’re real proud of you” (I forget the exact wording and don’t want to revisit that horrible video to find out, but maybe in reference to his parents being proud of him?) I think it was that very statement that really pushed him over the edge, although I’m sure he would have done an act like this at some point anyway. Then when he carried it out, he asked his mom if she was proud of him.
Bristol was once a little industrial powerhouse; it's been in decline for awhile. Events like this is the result.
Nick was OK with his faving lovers and making babies, but his wife wasn't supposed to move on with her life. How can a person be so entitled and self focused
One clarification, he had 3-4 rifles, plus handgun, based on police photos associated with the body cam.
I'm already speculating
You left out the part about the cops, being unbelievably unprofessional during the traffic stop which likely provoked him. I’m not making excuses for this clown, but they did not help anything.

Is there any evidence that they knew the ambush? Nate got shot, and the mother was screaming for Nicholas to stop, I don't think they knew.
That Iron Cross on his back tells me enough about this guy.
I remember it being a regular cross. The iron cross is something specific
@grottybt5006 it may be a regular cross but from the many times I rewatched the video it looked like an iron cross. I know it's a specific type of cross, that's why I specifically referenced it. If it's not, that's fine but from the video it looks like it and if so my previous statement stands.

Yes.😔
He clearly needed help. Coming out is incredibly difficult- your right, it does mean “manning up” in many ways, being honest, taking responsibility and sticking to your convictions. He clearly did not have that within him or anyone around to help foster that in him. I know many people who discuss how before they came out, they also put on the tough guy ladies man act because they where scared of being “found out.” It’s very sad. There was no reason for the police to pull them over. They weren’t even being detained. The cops made fun of them and the short officer pushed him to the ground. They just have to show their authority over the general public, even when it’s not necessary.
@sandy99922 Of course there was a reason to pull them over. They had been drinking and were driving. They could have hit the younger one with a DUI and they certainly could have hit the older one with public intoxication, drunk and disorderly, disturbing the peace and assault on a police officer. Both of them should have been in jail.
They stopped them because they'd been fighting in a bar where the owner called the police. This was explained in the video.

At the risk of triggering 2A Americans (I’m an Australian firearm owner) I’m glad I live in Australia where we have stringent firearms controls that go along with our rights to own firearms. Background checks, mental health checks, and safe storage are reasonable measures to ensure that tragedies like this are few and far between.
A troubled person and alcohol are a dangerous mix. Self hating homosexuals sometimes are the most macho acting. One of them stabbed a friend after their sexual encounter was over. He told me he knew he shouldn't have walked in front of him which gave him the opportunity to stab him in the back as they left the motel. So strange the behaviors the mind will produce out of guilt and shame. "Are you proud of me are you proud of me" was probably tied to his repressed sexuality. Mothers always know.
It's really sad that this is still happening.
