I was shocked to discover that George, following his release from prison, was actually able to marry & have a family. Surely the fact that he had strangled to death, tried to set alight, decapitated & disposed of Julie's body, would have been enough to deter any sane woman from wanting to marry him - with the thought that he might also want to kill them one day as well! I also found it hard to understand why Julie would want to remain romantically involved with a man who had tried to strangle her own mother. Surely that alone would have been a very bad omen for any future romantic relationship with him.
Weird but true. Ted Bundy got married in prison and had a child. I'm from Jersey and laughed out loud with those zingers! You're a funny guy, Dr. Grande! 😂
George's response to just about anything was to strangle. What a weirdo!
That's what I thought! So bizarre!!
I agree! I've never once in my life (and I have faced some seriously threatening situations) have I had ANY desire to put my hands on someone's neck and squeeze. Let alone, being able to do it for 3 minutes as you can clearly see the consequences of what you're doing. Really sick.
Thank you so much for your criminal investigative reporting. This is why thousands of us rely on your analysis of past or current criminal cases. Thank you for the long hours you spend researching so we get current, objective reporting on uTube. 🤔👍
I love your dry sense of humor! You slip in some gems :) thank you for this video
... "Growing up Julie had a lot of strikes against her... She was exposed to New Jersey"! 😁😂🤣
Being from Philly I remember this case. When it popped up I thought "Is this that case about the guy who killed his girlfriend in Greece and threw her head into the ocean?" MAN.. I never heard that her head had indeed been FOUND! Amazing to hear about her life backdrop. What a 'train wreck'..
Something deeply profound and life changing happened in New Jersey. I'm afraid we'll never know exactly what it was.
I think he'll spill the beans one day. I think it's probably why he pursued that career path.
Hahaha what part of the state did it occur in, I wonder? Surely it had to be in North or Central Jersey lol just kidding...I guess
Oh I think he just realizes that it's good for a laugh without really hurting anyone!
I've never been to NJ. If his jokes were actually funny I might try to defend it as freedom of speech, but as it is the NJ jokes are cringe and make me wonder more about what's wrong with Dr. Grande than it does what's wrong with New Jersey.
I live in Long Island NY and everyone here agrees NJ is the armpit of America
Thanks
I love your humor, Dr. Grande!
Your narration is as always entertaining and informative
"....she actually thought it was worse than New Jersey."
As a New Jersey native, I cackled 😅
Being exposed to New Jersey during one's formative years is often enough to condemn even the most promising of souls to a lifetime of misery.
She never had a chance! 😂
Really depends on what part of jersey tho. Parts of north and Central NJ are pretty good
@@summrflowers7253 yeah but that's most of NE from Massachusetts/Connecticut to parts of Delaware it's all very affluent
@summrflowers7253 Eddie Murphy was born and raised in Brooklyn NY🫣
Don’t forget Chris Rock and Wendy Williams
Dr. Grande's jokes are solid in this one. Mainly because they are so subtle. I like it.
Eight years for murder, that’s crazy. !!! Love your sarcasm and I got the giggles when you talked about Jersey. 😅
'She left the electrician...there was no spark.' Ashamed to say: cackled _loudly_ and frightened my fellow passengers. 😅
You have the best dry humor! I think you're one of the best therapists too. I would say I agree with your possible diagnoses.99%. I only have only a minor in psychology, a d associate in Human Services so I'm really not so knowledgeable
But I've learned quite a lot from you thx
I know it is horrific, but hearing it summarized it's so bizarre, it sounds almost as if he made a hobby out of trying to strangle/murder people and no repercussions/nobody cared, it's so absurd.
Another fine episode. It reminded me of those glamour photo shops in every mall back in the early 90s.
7:30 - I enjoy your raucous delivery of humor. Those punch lines hit like an asthma inhaler ( light and refreshing ).
Lyndenn Bray in Louisville, KY was found dead by ligature hanging after a fight with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend also tried to start her car on fire. I would be interested in a video about this incident.
Dr. Grande is the Jordan of criminal analysis.
Dr. Grande’s irrational hatred for New Jersey is my new favorite thing.
I love your sarcastic quips about New Jersey
He should have said "Ghetto" instead of New Jersey. Some people who don't study New Jersey think it's a safe place.
Dr Grande surelt has not few new jersey fans. He speaks so nice about them.
He tried to strangler her once, yet she wanted to, still, marry him.
Loneliness,self esteem issues.
she was abused by her mother so abuse was "normal"
@Ann-sj4pt no, hybristophilia.
@@mjanny6330 one doesn’t negate the other.
Yeah, like, here's your sign!!
So, what happened to the $600K? Did George end up with it? Did the ex-husband keep it?
Hopefully it went to her daughter. Surely it didn’t go to George.
I wondered about that myself. His wife didn't think that was maybe a red flag?
Weird but true. Ted Bundy got married in prison and had a child. (I don't get how he got conjugal visits considering that he clearly had a big problem with women and killed them)...but at least Ted was in prison where he could be monitored to some extent. This wife of George must have liked those "bad boys", as did Julie. That's the only explanation that I can come up with. As far as trying to choke her mom--personally I would have run for the hills.
New Jersey & the pool comments. Crazy 🌟
what does it mean when your significant other waits for you outside the bathroom? a guy I dated did that. I didn’t stick around long enough to see what that was all about.
I'd say that's obsession. Read that John Lennon did that with Yoko Ono.
Control
Co-dependent.
I had a dog who used to do that.
@@annconroy9159 Loved your comment. I had a cat that did that with my husband but only when he would brush his teeth. She would meow until he would let her in.
Love the comic timing of the New Jersey references😂 I'm in UK and have no idea what NJ is actually like..
Thanks as always for a thought provoking case... On a lighter note, I CANNOT with you 🤣🤣🤣
The snark is off the Richter Scale today... "married an electrician, but there was no spark"😂😂🔋⚡
I’m a bit younger, live in Jersey via Philly and was born in Kensington. Never heard of this!! Crazy.
He was very influential member of the crew “With out him, who’s knows what could it happen to the pool”…..Dr. Grande…OFF THE WALL🤣🔥🔥
The shade to New Jersey is giving me life this morning!
Murder, burning body, hacking off head....8 years in prison???
And now he's walking around free, in Greece. Great.
At 2.000.000 subs, could you do a trip to New Jersey please
Watch out, New Jersey, Dr. Grande is coming for you
We got it. As Frank Vincent, as Philip "Phil" Leotardo, said in The Sopranos: "Next time they'll be no next time."
….”I guess there was no spark!” 😂😂😂
Truly a tragic story. I don't see how, when looking at the pics of her on the cruise and in Greece with George how she is 35 pounds overweight, or has gained a lot of weight that she never lost. Her body may have changed after childbirth, but she is nowhere near fat in those pics.
Yes ... she is stunning in those photos too ... and seems a healthy body size 🤔
Yes but remember we are talking 80s/90s here. The normal body weight for women was less than 130 pounds. My mother was 110 pounds around the time and that was considered healthy weight. This was the heroin chick era. Ribs sticking out and big breasts, sculpted small round butt was considered the beauty standard back then.
Many people in Philadelphia vacation at the Jersey Shore, Wildwood is one place they go.
Princeton my be in NJ; but it is still Princeton.
He is SO FUNNY!! I have a question though, why is Dr. Grande so against New Jersey? What’s the story behind that? Does someone know?
I think the personality characteristic of Dr. Grande that I most identify with is his utter contempt for New Jersey
Damn, that analysis was DEEP! And the Jersey jabs were so well crafted that I can’t even take offense.
Bro. Your NJ digs crack me up every time 😂😂. I seriously laugh out loud when they catch me off guard. I spit my drink out when you said that one girl that lived in a bad town in PA that was SO bad that she went to NJ for vacation. 😂😂.
Also, I’m from NJ 😂
*8 Years! That's insane!*
Ikr? He did nothing wrong. He should be rewarded with cash indeed.
She lived in Jersey and was bored by Greece? I can't even imagine how anyone could think Greece was boring.
Edit. I've always wanted to visit Greece.
@traybernbraindead comment.
Same way someone got tired having sex with/cheated on Halle Berry.. Gwen Stefani's husband got tired of her ... Tom Brady /Giselle tired of each other
No friends, no family, no daughter and she probably didn't speak the language. Sure, it's beautiful, but it doesn't seem like she had anyone to enjoy it with. Plus, being new to the location you don't really know where anything is and it seems like her bf was terribly controlling.
@traybern why ?
@@enaitat. Thank you! Beautiful surroundings and culture are not the only things in life. It wasn’t even a culture she had any personal connection with. Even though I’m indigenous and Swedish I think I would likely feel isolated on either a reservation or in Sweden, even though I respect and feel a great connection to both cultures. I’m from an urban area and have never actually lived in them. I got very tired of the town I lived in with an abusive husband. I never really got to know anyone there because of him.
I don't think NJ is all that bad🙂. I live in NY but have been to NJ many many times and it really is quite nice....maybe not all of it but enough of it. I still
LOVE your channel and it'd informative yet humorous content. I wouldn't miss a single episode!
Please do a video on New Jersey, I would love to know more about why it's one of your most troubled cases.
Dr. Grande, would you please comsider doing a livestream Q & A? I've been with you since before 300K. I loved how you used to do "thank you for +100K subscribers" videos at each 100K milestone and we got to learn a bit more about your life and your personality from those videos.
Who is with me?
We want to know more about YOU, Doc! ❤❤❤
Q and A would be amazing! I absolutely love the channel and watch all the videos.
What's so bad about NJ
@@barbieblue3336 The accents of the natives maybe.
Yeah, his fave flicks for one milestone video was great.

Hi Dr.Grande. I really appreciate your channel. I feel like I’m getting a two for one. I never know when you’re going to be a doctor or a comedian, but I enjoy both.😂😂
He's a Docmedian! I love his dry wit.😄
@@rayross997 love it!
It's especially when NJ gets involved
Dr, your sense of humor is awesome. Love your channel
Once again, great analysis! M studying to become a psychiatrist and love your understanding of personalities. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your wisdom on such a regular basis.
The analysis is so thorough and spot on, thanks dr. Grande. On a lighter note, never trust a ship's mechanic in sour relationships.. they always end up wringing nuts
i keep laughing at the totally uncalled for jersey jabs hahahaha
