He saw the girls as mini me's of his wife , I think he stopped seeing them as his kids and saw them as the enemy as they stuck by their mom , either he , or the girls decided they didn't want a relationship with each other , whereas his Son obviously still wanted contact , hence why he kept him alive , although the poor lad still has to live with what happened.

Daughters - not children - daughters. There is a long history of killing women and daughters as they are the principal scapegoat in male psychosis. This episode is just that. Another chapter in a millennium’s old book of casting women as conspirators, temptresses and witches. 😢

    • @enderthexenocide760
      @enderthexenocide760 8 месяцев назад +7

@@altaisrs2857 he didn't "hate women", you can't always just simplify things like that if you really want to understand anything. He targeted women here of course, but for a reason. The wife is obvious, the daughters at that moment at least he saw as "little Karens" essentially projecting his wife on to them. He likely saw Karens mother in a similar way, a conspirator facilitating the destruction of his family. It has nothing to do with hate towards women in general. If his son had been a mommas boy, hadn't asked to stay with the dad longer, or had openly shown disdain for the dad then he would have been killed right along with the women that day.

We have been given intelligence but can't overcome the primordial instinct of the self serving ego. Perhaps, our greatest achievement will be passing and relinquishing intelligence to a higher form of existence in AI, one that is not so regulated by negative emotions and pettiness. The most dangerous combination in all creatures is a mix of intelligence and emotions, it can produce such great beauty and love, but also capable of heinous atrocities and suffering.

Humans will always be foolish, & I strongly believe we will snuff ourselves out if nature doesn’t do it first with climate change. I say good riddance. I do hope that AI doesn’t advance enough to exist on its own before that as I want the natural world to simply to return to itself as close as possible before our entrance onto the planet at least insofar as humankind in the more modern sense- not to say Modernism & since (as in with industrialization & such but the Anthropocene in general, which began the moment we started crossing continents & colonizing others). It’s the least we can do to exit the planet before we do it (even more) irreparable damage. We’ll be snuffed out someday at least & that will be a happy day. I feel no shame saying this as mankind will have done it to itself. It’s the foolishness & selfishness of people that is at fault, as well as people’s utter inability to either see these traits or to honestly recognize them as truth.- Again that’s the selfishness. I watched 2 other videos on this case and i must say some details were left out here. First of all allegedly Karen was being mentally, physically and financially abused most of her married life (Dr Grande mentioned an allowance and sex at certain hours of the day, there were also certain things like serving him food and a 9pm curfew fpr Karen). She also got a job as a coach when she couldnt tolerate the financial abuse (a guy makes 6 figures and yet asks for receipts for any purchase..?).
Also allegedly Sunny and her met at the gym and were romantically involved long before the “sexual experiment idea”. They were a couple but Karen was afraid to leave her husband and for all the right reasons too.
It’s a classic story of an abuser losing his s**t when his “property” decides to walk out on him.
Narcissistic and sociopathic traits are evident. He regrets nothing. 4 lives were lost.. And a little boy who’s all alone in the world now. What a shame.

Leaving him would be hard, but leaving him for another partner is lighting the fuse. Neither parent was thinking about the children. That Sunny lady, with her selfish and manipulative ways, is also responsible for the consequences in this heartbreaking case.

So now Domestic Abuse can be the victim's fault as long as they have a same sex partner when they leave their spouse? Dr. Todd, you have skipped over the reports that this was a controlling marriage for years before any affair. The teen age girls also were estranged from their father. Why were they? They were too old to only let the mother make up their mind

Thank you! I felt like Dr. Grande was victim blaming in this analysis as well. I also felt it was weird that he thought it was wrong for Sonny to point out that Craig might be a narcissist to Karen 🤔
I have noticed Dr. Grande being bias in some of his other videos/analysis as well but this time was more blatant.
Psychology, and similar fields, are steeped in misogyny, though.

He never said anything like that. He relayed the facts. It's not his fault that simply retelling the story included facts that maybe weren't the most flattering to her. He DID state that the husband was guilty of 1st degree murder and that there's no question of that. I missed the part where he said it was "her fault."

It seems like he has been going MRA-lite lately. It's getting hard to listen to even an occasional video as one will look interesting, only to see he's further compromised professional integrity to pander to an abundant and profitable demographic. At least, one would hope that's all it is, and I had greatly enjoyed his early work specifically balecause of his impartial integrity and using current science-based understanding of behavior. He even had corrected himself when having had errors or outdated misunderstandings pointed out in the past. A shame, as I'd enjoy a professional's discussion around unusual cases again.

Sunny can’t be blamed for the murders, but she should be blamed for being a marriage wrecker. If the murders hadn’t occurred, she would’ve revealed herself to be the exact same king of selfish, disrespectful partner who put her needs & wants first. It would’ve been a repeat of the marriage with a different partner.

In my role as a housing provider, and with extensive experience and knowledge of NPD and BPD traits and behaviors, I have counseled perhaps a dozen or more people through these potentially explosive family court types of situations, both men and women. Nearly always there is a cluster B personality disordered individual (Borderline/BPD or Narcissist/NPD) on the other side of the tug-of-war. I agree with Dr. Grande's hypothesis that Kraig was probably a card-carrying NPD. I'm at a loss to understand how both Karen and Sunny, and probably their attorney(s), didn't realize what they were dealing with in Kraig, and decided to repeatedly poke the bear in a cage (Kraig) with sharp sticks and laugh and point at the captive and angry bear. Again, not justifying Kraig's behavior and choices, but why go out of your way to poke the bear? Restraining orders aren't going to stop an active shooter who has entered your house.
Sunny, it seems had no awareness of what Kraig was capable of, and what all this was doing to him, and, along with Karen, continued to play with fire, shoving it in Kraig's face. Not justifying the murderer's behavior AT ALL, just some tunnel-vision choices on Sunny's part to pursue her romantic objectives and enable Karen in a "win at all costs and rub his nose in it" strategy. Also it sounds like Karen contributed to her own problems by encouraging her daughters to "side" with her, potentially parental alienation types of behavior involving her daughters, and no doubt Sunny participated in that as well.
I believe Karen would probably be alive today if she had kept their daughters out of it and done everything possible to support them having a healthy, loving, ongoing relationship with their father. Karen put Kraig in a position where he felt he had lost EVERYTHING, after raising the children and providing for them for all those years, only to have his daughters turned against him, or so he would FEEL, by their mother. People should not underestimate the ability of the corrupt family court system to emotionally torment men through taking their property and their children. The family court system seems almost designed to make otherwise nonviolent men "go postal".

The wife should have allowed her son to stay the night at the ranch with his father instead of arbitrarily denying that very simple request, then bringing her lover and their daughters along to the pick up location just to rub it in. She was on a control trip of her own, inflicting vengeance through a thousand small humiliations.
