    For the Maschine MK4 I'd like the option to customize the faceplate like they did with the MK2. Instead of 2 screens there should just be one large screen like they did with the new Komplete controllers. Maybe put the volume and rec level knobs on top instead of in back. Other than that I think the software needs more DAW features so we can truly mix inside the software without having to export to another DAW for mixing.

    Funny, the opposite for me. I had bought it originally to control Cubase, and it turned out it doesn't really work well. Then I upgraded to Cubase 12 with MIDI Remote and suddenly I could use it for all the things I had always planned - and I was so close to selling it. :)

    If you're comfortable with something and you like the work flow why upgrade? Gear does not make better music... today so many people are surrounded with tools, but in the box they want vintage sounds. Gear companies keep making more and more of the same. All you really need is a controller and software to create good music.

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  9 месяцев назад +1

      That's a great question and makes for a good discussion. I think the simple short answer is advancement in technology. If all you need to mix a song which is eq, compression, delay and reverb, why do people buy third parties plugins. Most software comes with the basic right.

    honestly, native instruments could add alot of new features especially in the sampling area.. i come from using ableton live , and really loved the way i could sample in abelton... the flexibility was crazy ! i had way more control and could dive deeper into the sample... i feel like im very limited in maschine ... especially whens it comes to the stretching mode... instead of stretching the whole entire sample, we should be able to make different transients with in the sample and stretch them individual to our liking... and also another feature to have would be having the ability to split tracks into stems...

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  9 месяцев назад

      Sure they can. I mean if the average user comes from using a d.a.w such as Ableton Logic, Cubase, etc, i'm sure they would feel the same way. Maschine is groove box that has d.a.w like features. I'd argue that Maschine has one of the best workflows on the market in terms of getting your ideas out as fast as possible. I know most users want it to be a d.a.w. Submit the suggestion here: bit.ly/3vT7Bcw

    I purchased a brand-new Maschine Studio after seeing it in your videos a little under a year ago. Now, for some reason, both screens went dark. Naturally, I contacted Native Instruments regarding an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and suggested that, since the Studio is now discontinued, I'd be willing to pay a difference if necessary ,or make any necessary arrangements to get a current model with current support. Unfortunately, my request was not successful.
    The suggestion came only due to the fact I've ran into something like this before with another company and they simply switched out the discontinued product for a later model ..
    I feel it was simply down to the rep I was communicating with that killed the suggestion tbh

    I have the Maschine Studio and Jam combination and no plans to swap any time soon. Never saw the attraction of the Plus for me apart from the portability and prefer using within a DAW workflow (using bigger screens) anyway. The Plus is expensive and for me just brings just a whole other set of compromises to the table. The new Mk 3 Komplete Kontrol keyboards unless have missed recent announcements, don't really give us much direction on the future of the Maschine line seeing that the Maschine integration was non existent at launch. Thus bought a new S61 Mk2 cheap as that makes it a really good trio.
    So for me the balls in NI's court to give us a clear insight into what they are planning for the future of the Maschine line. I love NI too and spent a fortune with them .However also still using my Mk1 S61 on my second rig using the 2.9 KK software which is frustrating that it's no longer supported. The way NI is steering things it's trying to push users to upgrade their hardware again and again. So makes a sense to jump in for new users but less so for existing ones as there's no compelling reason to repeat spend all that money when what we have is mostly great already, and the new stuff offers so many pros and cons
    This is not meant to be a rant as I'm a huge NI fan. But also keen on not investing more in their hardware until I can really see the benefits of doing so.

    1st
    The M+ Needs the ability to use Native Instruments Software! (Kontakt)
    Like the Play Series sounds!
    People spend all this money and can’t use the sounds we pay for!
    AKAI products have been kicking its ass in that department FOR YEARS!
    M+ was never worth the $1500 that we spent on it.
    2nd
    Now that NI has partnered with Izotope, they need to implement better EQs and Filters within the software and standalone!

Same thing with VST's. We got tons of them, including myself, but how many you really use? If you know music theory, you can make bomb track from just few of them. Does E-mu SP-1200 for example got large screens, all that fancy knobs, soft pads etc. Nope, and how many classic joints came out from that maschine back in the 90's, tones of them. Dude 4 real...I have my Maschine Studio still and I think it has faster more accessible functions then the MK3. You point out literally no drawbacks that are worth mentioning and your selling point was seriously because "you deserve it" which speaks volumes about your totally unbiased, unfiltered "opinion". I'm so tired of NI shady marketing tactics by rewarding youtubers with freeware to say nice things about them. Do me a favor right now say one thing that is a major drawback from the MK3 that you once had on your maschine studio.

    • @FizzENT
      @FizzENT  3 месяца назад

      There is absolutely nothing wrong with Maschine Studio, as it is a great product. I paid around $1000 for it at the time, so i believed it was a solid product and still today it works great with the software. The only thing i sell is a Maschine Course to help individuals quickly understand Maschine. NI does not give us any directives to even make a video. I make tutorials and share my thoughts on products i receive. I've made a few videos that talks about Maschine software drawbacks. I think the hardware is pretty solid. I wouldn't say that there are any major drawbacks, but i will say yes i lose the meters and those quick select instrument buttons. I also lose my big jog wheel and the ability to have quick one button pushes. I don't know about you, but those losses were not a big deal to me. With the Maschine Plus or MK3, you are gaining and audio interface, 4D Encoder, Single USB powered, touch strip and more and for a great price at the time of this video considering how much i paid and that was only for a controller. I can go on and on about how i'm getting a smaller form factor and how nice the updated pads are on the newer controllers, but hey if you feel like the Maschine Studio is faster and more accessible functions keep on using it. Thanks for your feedback

      I love the Studio. I've always known it to be bulky. The Maschien+ fits nicely on my desk and i actually have more space. What a difference !

    Bro you are buggin. Native Instruments is soon to go out of business. They have let go of most of their support staff. The native instruments software is now behind Apple technology. People will purchase software that won’t work and native instrument will make it hard to get your refund.

      @@FizzENT okay, hopefully my theory won’t be true. However it seems that the direction of the NI company is getting a lot of bad reviews and I think they had a one star rating on the bbb. Hopefully things will get better

      @@FizzENT dude telling people to buy the latest maschine because they gave you one for free is basically that. Listen if you can get something free get it. For all owners of Native Instruments software and hardware we know how they are with updates to Maschine software and do not compare to Akai in that regard. NI consistently updates kontakt for use with their latest offerings and nothing more. As someone who also owns the stuff and been using their products from the beginning I’m telling people use NI for their software instruments but stay clear from Maschine because it is clearly the step child in the family. Updates if at all come far apart and address minor things and really don’t move the needle in any real measurable way.

      @@theopinions47 I'm in no way saying buy the Maschine just because they gave me one. I've been using their products for years and making content around Maschine Studio. My other videos talk about Maschine issues and what they can improve on. There is a lot to Maschine, hidden tricks and tips and i share them all with my supporters. I'm sharing my viewpoint on the latest Maschine. I've used many daws and workstation and i think Maschine workflow is top notch. It may not have the features and updates you want, but its serves as value to many.

      @@FizzENT man in a prior post on this latest video you put out you said that even you was looking to abandon ship and cop an Akai but didn’t due to the price and because they NI gave you a copy of their latest product for free. Then you said we should buy one. All I’m saying as someone who like many who have stuck by by NI and used Maschine it’s clear the support ain’t there to make the product what it could be. I’m not some random person who doesn’t own these products or never used them. For me Maschine is very glitchy especially with their other products. Now I still used their sounds in other stuff and that’s it. To be transparent maybe my experience may be different using Maschine plus or studio but I have used the software through a laptop and desktop and it’s just not rock solid. Maybe the software behaves better in those products but even then I wouldn’t make that investment since I know how NI is with updates.

      That’s not what was said. I know the videos that you are referring to are the Akai series playlist. I was looking to purchase an MPCX-SE, but didn’t because of the way it sounded. Why would I pay $2500 for a MPC special edition when they are not giving that sound they are known for. Using a new piece of an equipment doesn’t mean I’m going to abandon NI. I’m not saying don’t buy an MPC. I’m sharing my knowledge and I feel about the sound. I have an ok set-up using a Mac so I’ve haven’t run into a lot of issues that others might face, if they are using a windows operating system.

    You are shilling hard dude. There is no reason to upgrade to the maschine plus, which is too slow as a standalone. You gave zero point zero good reasons to change to a maschine with less capabilities and far less dedicated buttons to accomplish tasks. The Studio blows away the Plus, and you know it. But because you are a shill, you are trying to act as basically a guitar center sales associate. Pushing product. Just stop. You are not even a good shill.

      Thanks for your feedback. You don't need to necessarily upgrade to Maschine plus, but the mk3 will do. The workflow, the added touchstrip, as well as the interface is a huge plus. The Maschine Studio is still a great unit although it does not have the interface. I've always found it to be bulky. Different folks, different strokes
