I got mine when it 1st came out and still use daily. I got the s49 keyboard too and together they a monster. I like the software too but it could be better.
Just got my Maschine Studio white in 2021 & I love it. Paid $400, 2 great color screens, dedicated buttons for less menu diving, and a KICK STAND‼️ don’t know why all controllers/samplers don’t come with one 🤦🏾♂️
Fam, the kickstand is a HIGHLY underrated feature of the Studio. Like you said more controllers should have them. I'm very happy with the Maschine Studio and glad I eventually got my hands on one.
Damn, you got a major deal with that one man. Props. Found mine for $300 and got a complete 10 Ultimate off OfferUp for $150. Had to make separate buys but still.
W for the video. Yours is the only one I found that actually covers the features of the device. I had to return a faulty interface to my pawn shop and they don't do cash refunds. Stuck with store credit, I noticed that they had not one, but TWO different Maschine Studios. Both white. One had yellowish pads and was a bit grimy (maybe smoke). The other one was in great shape. Took it home for $275 ($300 sticker) and still had a couple hun credit for another day! I already have a mk3, but I'm absolutely loving the meters, kickstand, undo/redo buttons, and the jog wheel. Now I just need a Maschine Jam, lol. Long live Maschine!
Yo finding this Vid is a W......just copped one and look forward to really getting in the lab and seeing how to maximize this with my external gear. Good looking, Wes
One of the best instruments Native Instruments ever made. great form factor if you don't need portability. Love mine. Pity they never released an upgrade with a built-in audio interface.
I have the studio & the mk3. The Studio has a better build and stronger chassi. The mk3 feels plasticy & has a powder texture coating that scratches easily. The Studio has better functionality with its dedicated buttons.
I like that you can adjust the metronome sound and pre-listenexamples with cue mix button, really great but I would love to change the pads brightness, that would be really great
I bought the Maschine studio for $125, but the logic board was broken and the maschine itself was in great condition, i repair electronics so i repaired it, I also bought a broken Mpc touch paid $150, i fixed that one as well now I have the best of both worlds. I really cant understand why would anyone upgrade from the machine studio to Maschine mk3 because its a little different but without the jog wheel and other features that doesn't require shifting, but to each its own.
Just got one last week for £165 from cex, thought it would be a banger at that price but it is immaculate. Replacing my mk1, but going to just keep that for emergencies. Lol.
Still have mine since 2014. Its the center of my studio and don't plan to change to anything else. I'm still rocking with maschine software 2.3 on my imac lol. I've only updated the software on my macbook pro. If its not broke don't fix it.
My Maschine studio arrived today, Black, Brand spanking new, Never been used and with the software transfer including Select 11. I can't figure why the guy had the software installed yet the Studio was New so I was a bit dubious. But it was clear as day on the Bay and if it was miss sold I would get my money back, so I rolled the dice, I put in a snipe for £250 and got it for £200, No problem getting the software transferred to me so the seller was genuine. I was so pleased with it I spent out another £85 for select 13. Now I have to learn to use it. So thanks WesB I wouldn't have considered the Studio without your video, a Studio for less than a Mikro! cant be bad lol.
Yeah u can catch them on sale, people tend to think the white ones are rare and want more for them. I got mine at a good price keep looking don't buy the first one u see cause different sites like reverb have stuff coming in and out all the time. Still the best version of there controller to me.👍🏿👍🏿
I have 2.14.7. the only reason why I haven't got the most recent one is because I feel like they didn't add anything that I needed. Everything has been running smoothly
One question for you man! Seems like nobody ever covers the simple things that's hard to figure out, and that's simply arming/lighting up the next pad, getting it ready for a sound to be loaded on there. How do you do that? In the maschine mk1, all you do is simply press any pad that you want to load the next sound onto, it lights up, and you good, but on here it's like.. maaad hard and different! Thanks!
Yeah I noticed on the studio that when you're trying to arm the next pad, you have to hit select then the pad you want to load to sound to. Hope this helps!
@@WesB_502 Yoooo!!!! WORD, man.. thanks! I figured that too after trying it, but just wanted to know if I was right or not, because one guy was just going from pad to pad, and I didn't see dat nigga hit no select button or none of that shit! So I was just wondering if I was doin it right or not..
Just ordered B Stock for $270.00 USD! I mean, the cheapest decent MK3 is $500 used. New $650. So, add in the software, VST from Native, there isn't anything even close to this good of a deal. Even the MPC Studio 2 only comes with a min amount of sounds and no where near as good as this. Two LCD screens? KNOBS? Buttons? Insane! Folks are missing out by not owning this thing!
Bought m.Studio back in 2016 ($700AUD with 5 expansions) - 2ndhand and guy (local dj) had only used it for a month! Said he was going back to mpc because he didn't like the fact that it wasn't a true "standalone" unit like the MPC's. As an FL Studio user I wanted to try and learn a new tool and/or implement m.Studio with FL but never did 🤦🏾 sadly I left m.Studio sleeping since 2017 and ONLY just brought it out yesterday 😆 🤣 now I have to relearn this Tool, thank hell for RUclips lol. Imo this unit is a "W" on its own! Komplete13 will arrive soon enough
the Maschine Studio actually helped me like mixing and mastering beats in Maschine. I used a friend of mine's MK3 and while I like it, there's something about the Studio that sets it apart. yeah you have to use it with the CPU but man it's a blast to use
Dope content g, I'm planning on buying a studio and seeing them on the low without software, since I've already got a Mikro with all the software and licenses, do you know if it will work with maschine without problems or should I just get one with licenses? Appreciate any help.
You should be good. Since you already have a licensed version of the software you can buy a used Maschine with no problem. Just plug and play when you get it. Just make sure you get the driver updater from the native instruments website
I believe if you're buying it to use as a controller for a different program like Ableton, FL Studio or something like that you should be fine. You'd only need to buy some additional software if you were looking to use the Maschine software with it. Hope this helps
a few years back when it was over a grand i scored my maschine studio platinum new on a mess up at guitar center for like $650 and then gave a trade in that i got $350 credit for the item that i only paid a $100 for at a pawnshop so i scored big time lol i love my maschine tho

I bought a machine studio black in February 2021 for $200 at Guitar Center and was banging beats with no issues!
I hope they come out with a new maschine studio. I always like this one
same here
I came to this vid because I saw a Maschine Studio locally for $110, and I think you've convinced me to buy it.
Thanks bru!
The studio is highly underrated I love mine and the jog wheel is sweet i prefer it over the encoder knob!!
I think it's one of the best deals. You can find them in great shape for $3-400. I paid $500 for mine with a komplete 10 license
Yeah I agree. The Maschine controllers are really good, especially the Studio.

We need a Studio Mk2 at least, new pads, keep the interface so the other products stay relevant and I’d buy it
I'd get a MK2 of the Studio in a heartbeat
Its all I have had and used since late 2016. Studio and matching Komplete Midi Keyboard
I mean you do have a knob for automation. It's smoooooooth. Smoother than the wheel. IMO
