The studio is highly underrated I love mine and the jog wheel is sweet i prefer it over the encoder knob!!

One of the best instruments Native Instruments ever made. great form factor if you don't need portability. Love mine. Pity they never released an upgrade with a built-in audio interface.

Thanks for the Shortcuts!! Ididnt know about the Mixer and Arrangement shortcuts on the MK1 ... I have 2 Mk1's and a Machine Plus. I still use the MK1s on my laptop and M+ in standalone. Hookup both with LINK This is super useful

imo this is just as iconic even in 2023 as a true piece of workflow combining hardware/software - can’t go wrong with the mk1 it’s a classic man I love mine

Yeah u can catch them on sale, people tend to think the white ones are rare and want more for them. I got mine at a good price keep looking don't buy the first one u see cause different sites like reverb have stuff coming in and out all the time. Still the best version of there controller to me.👍🏿👍🏿

i love the MK1, i buyed my on Ebay for 50 Euros, and the Maschine Software for 70 Euros on the NI Homepage, never had so much fun with a Controller. For me the best, what you can use when your money is limited.

i still have my mk1 and a mk3.... i'll tell you the mk1 is built like a tank in comparison. i hate the cheap plastic ni uses now. another plus for keeping an mk1 is that if you dj with traktor, there's far more mappings for use of the mk1 as a side car unit for traktor then the mk3 in 2023.

W for the video. Yours is the only one I found that actually covers the features of the device. I had to return a faulty interface to my pawn shop and they don't do cash refunds. Stuck with store credit, I noticed that they had not one, but TWO different Maschine Studios. Both white. One had yellowish pads and was a bit grimy (maybe smoke). The other one was in great shape. Took it home for $275 ($300 sticker) and still had a couple hun credit for another day! I already have a mk3, but I'm absolutely loving the meters, kickstand, undo/redo buttons, and the jog wheel. Now I just need a Maschine Jam, lol. Long live Maschine!
