I have seen so many people get fired. The ones that disturb me the most were when they fired super nice people. Those people were sent packing to the street with no backup plan. And many times with a family to support. If you think you are safe within your corporation, you're not. It's like MS always says, "You're not scared enough."
@MillennialSteam-h3s MS, there's this channel I just came across. I wish I had the name, I'll try to find it for you. You would love it. Here's a summary: a 54 year old woman is fired from her 280k job. Now she has to drive Ubers for pennies to make ends meet. She has one of those "can do" attitudes but you can tell as she speaks, she is slowly going mad. She almost comes across as maniacal at certain points. She's cracking because everything she knew about a decent and stable life has been obliterated. This illustrates everything you've been talking about for years. It really is the end.
I've seen managers above me lie, falsify documents, scapegoat and fire others l, and i don't think it's actually because they're bad people, like you said; they're desperate. They don't know if they'll find another job at that salary so they'll do whatever it takes, which of course makes life for people at the bottom even more miserable. It's like a bureaucratic hunger games. I'm amazed I haven't been fired yet.
That was exactly the message they were sending me when they told me to stop doing that task. "You're replaceable. We have plenty of other workers. We don't care about your efficiency at that task." What I didn't include in that story was they let me go from that job not too much longer after that. I guess I didn't act desperate enough. I still think about how naive I was back then. Just there to be used and exploited.
Getting stressed on about not reaching your work quota when there are factors that can bring your work quota down is stupid. And when you tell them they just look at you like that’s the wrong answer 😂
I've been unemployed for a year and sick of seeing all of the desperation jobs online. I applied for one job at the start of the month, have all the right qualifications and experience, but dont even hear one peep from the employer, then 27 days later, I see the same job reposted again online ffs! 🤦♂️I also think interviews are pointless since, imho, they pre-judge you before you even sit down and open your mouth, last two interviews I went to the interviewer would barely keep eye contact with me despite dressing professionally, smiling, and showing up 20 mins early. I feel like I'm done with this whole society and sick of trying and getting nowhere in life.
$10 an hour for working as a hospital janitor. One night there was a tornado warning right over the county i pass through to get to work. Called my manager to let her know i kight be late so as to wait til it passes over and...you know....not be sucked up by a tornado She couldnt wait to give me a point for being tardy for that. Wow.
I remember when i was declared too disabled to work and my ex called me lazy instead of being happy that i wouldn't be breaking my back any more. She was jealous. I always told people, jobs are there to use you up and spit you out. They will break you and leave you to try to keep your head above water with no training. Yet some people worship their slavery, which i found rather bizarre.
Speaking of numbers, I heard at the European Wax Center (I don’t know if you guys have that business in Arizona), but for estheticians, they also have a work quota for every client they work for. Can you imagine? lol

Aragorn: Are you frightened? Frodo: Yes. Aragorn: Not nearly frightened enough. I know what hunts you.

A lot of my coworkers are unhealthy and get sick all the time, which is a problem for sustaining a job.
Commuting in crowded public transit. Working in retail with sick customers.
*I miss the warehouse stories* - *those were peak MS lol*
🤣I can still ride my bike by the building, it looks like the workers, just stopped and its waiting to open some day
@MillennialSteam-h3s memories
My favorite vids were part of the gym girl arc. Her parking right near him all the time lol. I couldn’t wait to hear what happened next with her 😂
@whitewolf1466 yeah that stuff was solid too

I would change one thing about what you wrote. They ARE bad people.

I have said it many times, it’s possible to go your whole life without finding a job
The table is so realistic and the wall behind the sofa is too.

the point system was designed to destroy workers

They think slavery is temporary
Give us homeless tips and tricks for us proles who are one paycheck away from the streets
dont be homeless
its a tough nut
hard to escape
Factories do this all the time walk you out like your a criminal
walking the very people that you exploit out to the parking lot
who is the real criminal here?
@ exactly an then ruin peoples reputation on top of it by making things up if future employers contact them
Do you think people would accept being whipped at work if they got a raise?
sadly so many people would enjoy it
it would be a prize that some workers would be jealous of getting
🤣

Yup you wake up and realize it was wasted.
