It’s funny that one of the concepts of garbage pail kids is to make kids grosser than they already are
I completely forgot that a Garbage Pail Kids game was suddenly made. Guess with all the stuff thats come out in the past year, this was one that was completely off my radar.

I’m surprised that Garbage Pail Kids didn’t get a licensed video game in the 1980s during its height of popularity, instead we got a horrible live action movie that is considered to be the worst movie ever made! This NES game is good for a throwback 8 bit game!

I knew the "Garbage pail kids" in France and it's called "Crados" I have the first two sticker albums including the second which is almost complete. So many good childhood memories, my mother bought me a pouch when we went to see my grandmother from time to time, it was magical.
In Italy were called "Sgorbions", back in the 90s, then they tried to remake them as "Caccones" (but there's no trace on Internet about this remake).
Little known fact: Adam Bomb was modeled on a young John Campea.

Growing up, my buddy Tim had ALL of these cards. Still does. I was partial to the "Dinosaurs Attack" series.. nice and gory.
Pretty elaborate game! Laughed at your ballooning head-great production values as always, man.
This reminds me of that old video IG made about the cards. He clearly has a lot of knowledge about the cards, and it shows when he talks about them. Makes me want to get out my old binder too.
I never got to see GPK much other than a couple cards and some stickers kids had stuck to desks but I always wanted to know more about them.
lets all be honest, we'd rather play this game then watch the GPK movie

In Argentina this series was called "BASURITAS" and had all jokes adapted to spanish. Characters like "Matias Queroso" and "Gustavo Mito". Yeah, good times.
Ok I might have to add this one to the NES collection. Not much screams 80s like the garbage pail kids.

the in-game trading cards are all of characters in the game, so the one enemy you don't know should have her own card where you can check her name

I think the kid you didn't recognize at 4:17 was Snot Rope Hope, a kid that plays jump rope with YEP a string of her own snot, except here, she's using it as a swing. Or at least that's what she's shooting at you.

I too always wondered how Widget got a game on the NES considering it only ran for one short season, and nobody ever heard of it!

The medieval toilet is still probably more intuitive than the three seashells.
That's pretty amazing that they made an NES game , I hope more companies follow this trend
i am a 90s kid from what i have been told in the 80s everything was all cleanly and you only had sports cards but its interesting to see this stuff these days there is a lot of hysteria about kids watching "skbidi toilet" but that just seems to be a modern version of these cards
