I have the same one from Amazon. It works well for what it is. I have used it a few times in the past couple of years without issues, but I only use it 5-6 times a year.
You are right, that air nozzle gets HOT! Always make sure you let it cool off before packing it away.

I have the Ironman Champ Pro (3 years old) and it looks like just a simple rebrand. That being said, it's a beast and I've used it well over 100X with NO issues! 💪

@@BackCountryWrenching Yes. I did however forget to add that mine has a very nice rubber hose (that coil hose would drive me crazy!) and the compressor connection gets pretty darn hot after filling my 4 aired down tires (approx 10mins) Also, I believe the power cord is short for a reason and that is because the compressor draws a LOT of power and every inch you add to the cord adds resistance which can cause the motor to operate less efficiently and reach it's duty cycle cut-off faster. It's a good practice whenever installing any high draw electric modification to keep the supply lines as short as possible so the unit runs at peak efficiency.

It looks very much like the Smittybilt air compressor. I used my first one about 6 times then the reed valve in the head broke off. I tried to get warranty for it but 4Wheel Parts declined because I could not produce a receipt (the compressor was a gift). I contacted Smittybilt directly asking for the part as I thought I could fix it. They sent me a brand new one.

I pulled the goofy nipple off and used an aluminum air fitting and threaded it in, pulled it back out, put thread tape on it, and boom standard thread sized for a standard air fitting.

have the same unit but badged RFX I think, I think that is NSOR's brand? Works well, does a 37 from 12 or so to 30 in a couple minutes which is good enough for me. I replaced the hose with a regular airline with a swivel chuck and wired an anderson plug to it (have a 50 amp line into the back of the rig) so kinda handy to not have to take it out and clip to the battery. Hope it works well for you.

Yes it is identical to my smittybilt compressor , save the colour , the Smitty is all black . I did some mods to mine , it works well but it does get very hot .

250 degrees Fahrenheit is pretty hot. My concern would be how many high heat cycles that can take before it shits the bed. You seemed a lot more impressed with the review you did 2 or 3 months ago on another unit. Can’t think of the name of it.

Planning on hitting up some local FSRs this summer and I think I'll be airing down. Not much though, I'm running 20" rims with 32" tires, so I don't have much sidewall to work with and don't want to damage my rims (alloy). So, I'm looking into an air compressor. Would you recommend this one, or is there a better option out there around the same price point?
