I have that same amp, I paired with the AV-7005 pre amp tuner for my home theater perfect match . I plan on up grading to AV-8805 for more channels. I'm also going to an MM-7025 Amp for atmos .this will complete my home theater.
How many watts is the basx7? The old definitive perform well in the over 150 watt per channel range. Under that does not seem to make them tight and sharp. Just hooked them up to the Emotiva xpa-5.....wow with 300 watts. .....its heaven
I have the 7013. And I tried adding the marantz amp to it, which proved to be uneeded as the receiver has great power and showed no difference. Its on closeout anywhere its left. @@OldtradesReviews I am good with 4k! Marantz seems to be slow with HDMI 2.0 running that PS5. So u think this receiver will drive these BP Super Towers?
I have the old 7006 hooked to it and now the bp9060. And its the best I heard them from a reciver. Its very, very powerful. Best reciver power, sounds better then some amps. I also have a sub to the .1. and a sub wired inline to my surround backs. I say that because each sub eases the receivers load. It also has the preamps so in the future you could add amps if you want.
