    Lyrics:
When I saw you that's when I know
I'd lose my mind over you
When I held you that's when I knew
I'd lose my mind over you
When I saw you I realized somethin'
    I didn't realize
You got somethin', you got somethin'
That makes me say child child child
When I saw you that's when I knew
I'd lose my mind, lose my mind
I'd lose my mind over you

*Just watched "Phil Spector" (2013) for the first time and this song ran straight into my brain's music center.*
*That doesn't happen often. I'm very picky. 😉😁*

This should have been released as a single. One their greatest performance in the studio. Spector was a fool.

In 1964 this young girl while listening to "When l Saw You" looked out her window and saw this older boy working on his 57 car. She fell in love with him but she was only 14. The young man never even seemed to notice her, even when she was out in her yard. She knew he worked at a local grocery store after school where her mom got their food. She would go with her mom shopping just to get close to this young man. She would linger in the aisle where he was stocking, hoping to get the boys attention. To no use, the boy never noticed her. He was a freshman in hi school. She was still in middle school. She cried as she listened to "When l Saw You" over and over. Then the boy disapeared for 3 years. She was very saddened to find out he was in calif. "Ill never see him again" was her thinking. 3 yrs. later she grew into a very beautiful girl and walking the hi school hall she sees the boy was back!
Today that young girl and young boy have been married for 55 years. I am that boy.

Flip side to ‘’I Can Hear Music’’; both sides of this record are incredible. A tragedy Phil withdrew it just as it entered the Hot 100 in 1966. Even more mysterious that he had Jeff Barry produce the ‘A’ Side.

    • @Luc-Sist_07
      @Luc-Sist_07 3 года назад +4

That!s because Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry decided to leve Philles récords, but Phil give to Jeff the production of the single.
Ellie and Jeff tried to leave but Phil give him the production after RDMH fail to be the number 1 on the billboard chat.
      Then Philles récords close.
