If no kids or property is involved, then no contact is the only way forward. If the cruel narcissist cut you dead by completely ignoring you in the past then you must now do the same.

I unfortunately bred with her and can't go no contact & I agree with Danielle here. I have personally found that indifference in her company cuts deeper than just ignoring her. Talk to her in a neutral way at kid's sports events, then talk to other parents in exactly the same way. I'm guaranteed a text 3 minutes after we leave "Are you ok?" Hahaha like clockwork.

Thing is, you wouldn't be in the situation you're in with the narcissist if you were as hard-hearted, unfeeling and cold-blooded as they are.
It is exceptionally hard to act like you're not hurting when you are.

Hmm good tactic but how do you know the “narc” is INSINCERE? What if the person is genuinely regretful? …
    My point of this:
Before you do such things, I think one should really need to pinpoint that disorder first!
For I KNOW that people seem to be HAPPY to judge one another (who perhaps hurted them or been IN THE WAY of them ir their happyness) as a narcissist…
Thus my Q is maybe you can make a good informative tutorial, like A FULL LIST of symptons and red flags you could find when u have met a Narcissist Person.
    For look. I know…
I have for example not been myself as much lately. And i really struggle with this sometimes -I dont think im a narc but maybe… i actually suffer FROM narcs/having been with them.
And maybe IF I CANT CHANGE my conditions than I MAY DEVELOP such kind of disorder if im not careful. For i have SURELY MADE MY MISTAKES!
Lets say for example, i have INTENTIONALLY acted LIKE! Perhaps a narcissist, a dictator. In a way. But with a clear goal in Mind. A genuinely honest well-intended goal. To help them set boundaries.
Because I KNOW!! One guy. That has NO BOUNDARIES!! At all. Like no backbone.
So AT SOME POINT i got really frustrated, explaining him for months. Tonstand up for himself, what to do, etc.
    And became like a drill-instructor.
At some point we were actually getting there! But i think inlost it somewhere.
I just wanted to make him stronger. And have in someway intentionally “abused him”, in the hope he will learn.
I had to let go and be softer… For it is ACTUALLY NOT MY responsibility, and its dead-tiring. Even though i push myself so much that i dont even sleep at night… (this changed now..)
But eventually it seems like he IS A LITTLE STRONGER,
He has a LITTLE MORE EASE!!
To actually ask his boss for a day off. To actually SAY i cannot drive tomorrow.
But he still has many excuses to keep himself enslaved to others.
    -Im talking my dad….
AGAIN i think… I have to let go of this… SOME people you REALLY cant help…
And in a way it would become MY excuse not to jmprove myself…. 😢 thus it is something to let gonof.
Only can take full responsibility for ME! And can only teach others when the time is right.
Its not the time yet. I guess.
Anyway, i have regretted doing it. I just only remind him
    Now.
I still have a little habit of sometimes criticising or scolding him, or getting angry easily sometimes.
But I know that in some way It was harmful to him…. At least thats what it has sometimes looked like.
And he dont know how to heal himself…
Thus jt is TIME that does… i guess. And a little more positivity towards him perhaps…
However to use praise can cause a sense of acheivement in others while nothing is actually acheived…
    Its such a….. shitty situation…
    Samsara.

Just wanted to put awareness that SOMETIMES WE are WRONG guys!
You only can tell a person is a narcissist if you have been close to the person for long enough and you have found a lot of these red flags which seems to be THE NORM for them!
This is my opinion as i have checked myself for this but I had by no means anything to do with that! Fortunately.
But i am in a weak moment right now and am open to check it!!
Or if maybe i could be heading towards such disorder, THIS MAY NOT HAPPEN!!
