Thin wall Henry tearing it up baby!
Love that screaming 289!
My grandfather fully restored a '1964 1/2 Mustang convertible with a 289 for my aunt and gave it to her for 16th birthday. Great to see a red-blooded American, Gen Z, car guy! Keep on winning kid! 🏁🇺🇸🏁
love this video, my favourate year mustang, that 289 sounds so mean.the only thing missing from that car is a nice candy apple red paint job.this kid is smart and knowledgable about cars.1 thing i like about the interior is the backseat fold downs. also that dash i just love
He loves it ratty and patina!
@@AutotopiaLA don't paint it. It will never be the same.
@@merc6 Sure it will....just nicer to look at.Can still drive it everywhere
luv this. The high dollar customs have their place but I will always be impressed with the owner builder who has really turned out something as badd ass as this. Day 2 (and 3!) is my fav...i built a 70 Mach 1 with a stroker Cleveland 408 that doesn't quite rev like this insane 289, but it has that day 2 vibe that I luv so well. Awesome Ethan
What an impressive young man. Both very smart and appears to be genuinely nice. No surprise he is studying to be an engineer. I typically think the youth of this country is not good. But this kid gives me hope. I Wish him nothing but success in his future. Great episode
Imagine him pulling up next to someone his own age with their stock charger straigh piped then hearing this kid shoot a rev.
I’m 22 with an 81 f150 I plan on redoing. Just a little 6 cyl 2wd truck but I love it. There’s just something special about hopping behind the wheel of and older vehicle and going for a ride
Doesnt have to to be the best or fanciest, just yours!
Best part is no car payment!
LOVE seeing these builder cars more now. Love the top dollar rides but someone like myself can relate more to these with my own garage build
Love this guy. “Wanna hear it?”
Smashes downshift and side steps the clutch. So cool that he wanted a build he could thrash and put all the time and money into that goal. Sounds incredible to boot.
Haha!
This guy can go to cruise night see the straight piped late models and start going down ea row slamming hoods shut.
Southeat Gasser is so entertaining to watch in person! Feels like a blast from the past!
This car is so bad ass. Best burnout on this channel hands down. Way to be true to yourself. Love it bro.
Great stuff! this is one of the problems with the car scene now it's gotten so expensive young guys cant get in! good on you for giving young guys some attention who are having a crack on a budget!
Love seeing young guys like this keeping the hobby strong!
As an owner of a 67 FB I have owned since HS in the mid 80s, this makes me grin ear to ear and have some hope too for the hobby to keep going 😊🫡
I’m a simple man. I see NASCAR, I click.
This thing sounds like a nascar
That thing leaps when you change gear. Impressive for a 289.
The ford Windsor 289 and the chev Z28 302 are my two faourite engines . Both small and both mighty. I dont run on the ford GM BS. They are both great. This build is awesome.
Thing sounds great I remember driving my 68 Cougar 20 years ago all dune buggied out like this Mustang. As I hit my late 20’s that was when I discovered how much better these classics look when you set them down a bit. This kid is doing good though!
Holy Moses, gives new meaning to drive it like you stole it.....awesome !!
I love it, high revving small block ford power. Music to my ears
I gota say after watching a lot of your videos this is the best so far. That burnout at the end is the best....Hands down. Street racing at its best!!!!
I live near JBA in Kearny Mesa and have seen this thing rip! As a fellow youngish Ford Foxbody/Automotive nut, I salute this guy and I’d love to meet him! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I grew up and went to JBA car shows with my grandpa in the 90s! Such a cool history that place has!
Ethan, Craig “Cwaig” and his friends are so rad!! Makes me happy seeing what they do. Thanks for having them on the show
"LINE LOCK ENGAGED" & THEIR SMILES !!!
What an awesome kid, In these times we need more like this dude!!
Best burn out on Autotopia 👏
Really good one!
That’s one of the best ever.
The first real SBF I built was extremely educational. Roller everything, no friction with a Scat rotating assembly with the GT40 aluminum upper. The thing spun to the limiter at 7250 in no time. I couldn't believe the little thing could rev so well. Love the SBF
Burnout was SUPER BADASS PROSTOCK APPROVED!!!😎👍🏾
