WOW Jeffrey, 4-months without a video from you is too long buddy, I missed you! You make such great video's, where you always are keeping it real, and you are so natural at it, which is something I really appreciate. I also appreciate seeing your excellent skills with a straight razor or shavette. And I know about your famous nose, where you really need strong scented products to smell well. But we also know that the wife is has a final say on them scents lol. I also missed the, "I already put a hot towel to the face this morning." HEHE. Loved getting to see you again Jeffrey, what a great shave you had on your end of the month shave. Congrats!

Nice shave Jeff with the Tabac soap. I like the performance of Tabac soap, but it's to much floral scent for my tastes. Cool that you could get the shavette in purple for your wife's favorite color.

I am very pleased to see you back, Jeffrey! You were sorely missed. That Irving shaved very well. I like the fact that It can be made bespoke with various colored accessories. Tabac is without doubt the quintessential classic scent. It has been around since 1959, and was George Harrison's favorite fragrance. Enjoy the tallow formula while you can. The soap producer closed up shop about three years ago. They were also the manufacturer of the entire line of Fine Accoutrements' soaps. I have all things Tabac, shave soap, shower gel, aftershave, balsam, hair oil, beard oil, EDT, eau de cologne, and beard balm. It will be a mainstay in my den for all time. Great session today! It's a good thing that I picked up a couple extra jars of Tabac & a shaving stick. Thank you for the information because I didn't know that they closed up shop.
@@JeffreySmith Tabac itself didn't close up shop - the German company that was making the tallow base that they and Fine were using - closed up shop. You can still purchase Tabac but I don't believe that it has tallow in it any longer.

Good to see you Jeffrey! Great shave with the IBC and the purple is really nice! It is nice that you can buy the parts of the razor and it's really convenient if you're going to do a custom. Tabac is still on my list of soaps to get as I haven't picked up much of any soaps for awhile. I've been trying to whittle down the stock of soaps that I have and even though I don't have a ton, it seems like I could go for years. I'm sure I'll have to get a couple though because there's a few that only come by once a year and they'd be nice to have around.
I have been working on all my sample soaps and I still have quite a few. It is surprising how long a person can make a sample last 😁
