Hi Jeffrey- Great shave; thank you! Very nice lather with the MWF soap. I hope you have a great rest of the week. Be safe and be well. Best regards, as always, Jeffrey!
Until about 6 months ago I also loaded MWF with my moist brush straight off the puck in a mug, then a shaving friend suggested I scrape some soap off the puck and press the scrapings into my lather bowl then lather from there, which I have been doing and it works a treat. That's one way to keep water away from the main soap jar/mug if that is a concern, as it is for me and I've been using the same method for all of my hard soaps ever since.
Yes, great idea and I think that MWF would make a great daily driver that would go well with any aftershave that a person would want to use. A great soap in my opinion.⭐
I need to add that soap to my wish list. Getting the replacement puck is the way to go. I finish all my shaves with alum and witch hazel. Dickinson's is the best deal at our Target...only $3.79 for 16 oz. So many options for wet shavers.
I have a few bottles of Dickinson witch hazel I got on the cheap and I do consider Dickinson a good witch hazel. I haven't had any issues with Dickinson witch hazel.🌟
Nice shave! I do like the plastic razors and this one is like the last vestige of the first type of plastic. I missed out on getting one when they were down to the last few at several places and I'm kicking myself now. I'm wondering if the Black Amber is like Floid Black as it sounds like similar scent notes. It might be one for me to put on my list.
Hey Jeffrey. I have been interested in that razor since I first saw it. There's just something about the look of it that is very appealing to me. I hope I can find one someday. Thanks for the video!
I agree with getting a refill puck. I got one on Amazon for $12 and a $10 wood bowl with lid off eBay and saved myself $18. Good soap, I didn't have a problem with it or Williams fortunately. Great shave.
Hello buddy, always a great day when Jeffrey pops up on my channel feed. Well, I am not really into those Bakalight razors to be honest with you. I do prefer heavier weighted metal razors. But I admit, that plastic razor was working out for you, I didn't see one nick! I tell you what, if there ever is a zombie apocalypse, you are set on the witch hazel hehe. Great info as always in this one.
Terrific shave Jeff! I haven't tried MWF because I have hard water and I have heard that soap doesn't lather well in hard water. I have tried Williams and the lather dissipates and I assume it's due to the chemical makeup of my water. Have a great week.
It took me a while to give it a try after reading various reviews of the soap but I have been pretty lucky with it ... the water here is "hard" but I have been able to work with it.

Thanks, you too Mike. I do enjoy using MWF.
Great shave, Jeffrey!
Thank you William.
Sounds like a great scent! Great shave
Thank you Matthew🌞

I love my Merkur 45C.... nice little razor. If you can lather Williams then you can pretty much lather anything. 🤣 Have a good one! 👍
👍 Williams Mug Soap has been a great teacher. 😁
Howdy Jeffrey! I love me some MWF. I also love the natural scent and post shave feel is top 🔝 notch. 👊🏼🤠
Right on Bradley🤠

They aren't easy to find nowadays and when I do ... they aren't cheap. The case is still easy enough to find but the razor not so much.
I have the Merkur 45 it's simalar to the Razorock BBS black aluminium version what i have too.

I think the wooden bowl will be more durable when it accidentally hits the floor🫣 I am sure I will drop the ceramic bowl one day.
@@JeffreySmith my thoughts too.

Right on, I have plenty of witch hazel for sure😁
