  • This time with the rear multi links upgrade, i took it for a hardcore rocky terrain to put it to the test.
A lil bit of bashing, a lil bit of rock climbing, it was a hot day (not really feel it in the vid) basically I can’t really see what im shooting through the phone screen.
Front steering rod basically banging on the rocks all the time until certain times im worry it would crooked.
I had a thrill and fun run with it, watching the final cuts is much more enjoyable than im playing with it hahahahha.
The terrain does put my MN82 to a test, both rear hubs came off multiple times, shocks came loose from the eyelet as well, until at the point of “ok, i should not continue”.
    Thanks & enjoy the bashing!
Edited: Sorry just noticed the sound ran off a fair bit from the middle of the video to the end.
My MN82 Modification journey so far (focus more on tuning the suspension):
    1) Stage 1 - Stock + Shock Oil + New set of bead lock + Weight added.
    2) Stage 2 - Upgraded with metal parts + new electronics (due to corrosion and broken hubs after playing at the beach)
    3) Stage 3 - Custom leaf spring upgrade
    4) Stage 4 - Multi links upgrade with straight rear shock position.

Looking great! Suspension seems pretty well dialed in. Try some blue loctite on your screws if they come loose often. New sub, Cheers!

@@MysticRiverRC wow! Thanks! Ur comment meant a lot to me.
Ya I did use Loctite but didn’t use it on the hub (the small tiny hex screw) coz never think of it could felt off.
Already apply some Loctite on it.
      Appreciate for your feedback!
I really love to see the suspension movement.

Horla! Hard to show via videos because this suspension result was went through a series of testing of different grade of shock oil, different rate of spring, and numerous of test drive to archive a more scale look that I’m looking for.
Most importantly is to add weight to the truck, my current truck without batter is about 1.4kg. I’m keep the weight balance across the truck, front & rear, left & right and on 4 wheels.
My next setting will be try with higher number shock oil, maybe 800, with softer spring.
      Hope these helps!

nice run. How's the tire in front aren't they hitting the front bumper?

    • @hianboy6608
      @hianboy6608  13 дней назад +1

Yep it does rubbed on the front bumper not until i shave abit off both ends of the bumpers, now it look pretty ok, but under certain compression and steering angle toward one side it still rub a bit.. but overall ok for now... as long as dont max out the steering angle. Cheers!
