These dollar store projects are truly stunning! I’ve seen so many crafters use dollar store finds, but you take them to another level. Keep them coming!
A thought for the yarn hanging. Drill holes on the inner part of the hoop and stick the sticks inside the holes. It might be the look you are thinking... look more finished. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us. Your style rocks!!! Yes...more!!!
I am totally stalking your channel because I just can’t get enough of your style and the way that you design and create things!!! so thank you so much because you’re wonderful!!!
Wow oh wow, I have been watching several diy decor videos for months and low and behold, like your sweet Mother said, you appeared.....The KING of DIY...I love love your style and I am likely going to pull an all nighter watching a marathon of your channel. 🙏🏼 Thank you, thank you, thank you. 😁🙌
I like your take on the Dollar Tree DIYs. So yes please keep them coming. I used a wood burning tool to make a hole in the side of the hula hoop to secure the skewer. They slide right in. I never thought of boiling the paper for the clay. I tried using egg cartons and thought it was too much work. Now I will have to try again. Boiling instead of merely soaking. I love your videos. Keep them coming.
That first hook hanging rack thing is actually even more useful than you showed, because you can hang necklaces on the hooks but you can hang earrings on the cane sections too. All those holes in the cane are perfect for earring storage.
For making these long tassels you used on your hoola-hoop wall hanging, I often wrap the yarn around a ruler or piece of wood or you could even use a cutting board, to make big loops, which I then just cut once or in half again depending on the length. Its a lot faster than measuring it one by one by hand. And when you are doing big woven wall hangings it is really a life saver!
I love the paper mache. I saw a paper mache pendant light cover on pinterest that was white on the outside and gold on the inside and I might try it out!
It's funny that papier-maché bowls would be so expensive now because we used to make huge papier-maché dolls in elementary school. As children. During arts and crafts class. Lol

i would have made holes in the holla hoop and poke the dowels into it instead of gluing them if I could instead. the caca looking bowl turned out cool great job drew.
I wanted to say thanks for the mention of some drawer pulls from Amazon. They were a simple black bar which clipped over the top of the cabinet door and screwed in with two screws. Exactly what I needed for my kitchen cabinets. So much fun! Thank you!

Currently on a 🦊 binge and this garden fence idea just gave me a GREAT & very much needed solution for a project I’ve been racking my brain about for the past 3 summers. So THANK YOU for the great videos you put out. Can’t wait to get to the dollarama for the Spring products. They always have those exact ones which I’ve even purchased in the past for something else, but yet, I STILL somehow never realized their potential until I saw you cutting those end tips off; I really needed the solution to be seriously inexpensive so I could afford them & you just nailed it. I’m SO PUMPED if u couldn’t tell. 😁🙌🏻.
Im pretty sure the cardboard type egg cartons and the fast food drink holders are made of the same paper material as the flowerpots he bought. And they are free!!
You are Ahhhhhhmazing. Wow..I can't believe after all this time, Im just now finding you..wow. You nail, every. Single.DIY. So happy to have found you !!! Thanks !!!
I’ve been looking for a mini blanket/swaddle ladder for my daughter’s nursery and that wood fence thing would be perfect with every other bar removed!! Hopefully I can find it! I definitely didn’t want to spend like $60 on a little ladder 🙃
I feel like you could also buy wooden dowels from the hardware store or a Lowe’s/Home Depot and attach those to make a mini “ladder” since those are only a couple dollars each!
My bird is on top of my tv where I have your video casted from. When you said if you hear a bird chirping (which mine was) I spun around to the tv thinking some man had got into my house 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Thank you Lone Fox for the upload and the giggles. Seriously your creations were very high end but my fav part was when introducing the hula-hoop. Loved that voice over and just had to smash that like button. Keep being amazing!
I loved them all. An idea for the yarn hula hoop project to hide the scewers you could take black yarn and do a wrap around the hula and scewers. It would probably blend in.
I got these utility scissors for a project I'm doing that is a smaller version of the hula hoop one. Love them!! They cut my thin dowels so easily. I am using large wooden rings used for embroidery rings I got from Goodwill. I have all the wood pieces stained and can't wait to get started on the yarn tomorrow!! Thank you!!
OMG That paper bowl is F"in AMAZING!!!! It almost looks like stone! I have to try it! Oh and a possible tip for the loud bird. I have one outside my office in the spring/summer and some days its pretty loud. So I found a clip on youtube of a screaming Hawk sound. I play it a couple times and I get a couple hours of peace, but it doesn't make the birds leave permanently.
I love how you and Justin make Dollar store DIY's that are innovative and sophisticated. AND, they are something I feel like I could make. I have been saving toilet and wrapping paper rolls so I have a ton of them. I'm curious if they would boil down into a pulp? It would probably take longer. But I also wondered if I put in in my Nutribullet to get the right texture... AND I know my grandsons would LOVE getting their hands on that brown pulp😂😂😂😂
Yes, any kind of non-glossy paper or cardboard will work. You can use old newspaper, paper grocery bags, recycled cardboard boxes, lots of things that are free because it's just garbage. You definitely don't need to BUY stuff to tear up and make paper mache with. Another tip is to mix in dryer lint, the fluffy stuff you clean out of the dryer screen. Another free supply you would normally just throw away. Especially if it is mostly cotton lint (like from washing new towels or any cotton clothing). Cotton fibers will add structural integrity to the paper mache glop.
