I have heard that restoring, particularly repainting can reduce the value, but am no expert on the topic...leather surgeons would be better equipped to answer that question!

Thanks for the thorough review. Do you know if they can lengthen the strap of your bag or any bag for that matter (thinking of my vintage Constance 23 with very short straps)so you can wear it crossbody. Many thanks!

I know that they can lengthen a Chanel classic flap chain...Gerry Gallagher is the owner and he is super nice - I would just call and ask!

I decided to subscribe based on YotaStyle's recommendation and, having watched this video, I'm so glad I did! The pearls handle looks fabulous! I'm so impressed with how gorgeous and new your bag looks after the Leather Surgeons worked it over. Do you mind sharing how much it cost for the repairs? I've been thinking of sending a bag to them myself.

thank you! I think that was my second video so I think I'm getting better except for the one I'm posting today because I'm sick… I love samorga… That's where the pearl chain came from. I'm awaiting a $600 order to ship right now… I can't wait to try it out and review everything… Leather surgeons charged me around $400 Which if I remember correctly included shipping but I paid an extra 50 or 70 to insure that each way I think... It's been a while so I'm not 100% sure but in that ballpark.
