Omg! Your video was so helpful. I've been collecting and selling luxury handbags for the past 2 year's but I've never sent one in. I usually do low maintainence cleaning myself and list it. Like you I don't pay full price for anything and obtain most of my pieces through auction mostly from Japan. Well I just got a vintage Sherryline Gucci in silver with the blue, white and silver stripe straps. I had full intentions on selling it. I opened the package and fell head over heels in love with it. The Gucci pearl silver in some areas needs touch up. I've looked up a few cobblers and restoration services but couldn't decide. You sharing your experience with The leather surgeons helped immensely. I really wanted a personable experience and it sounds as if The Leather Surgeons may be the one. I also caught your video on where and how to sell luxury item's and found it very informative. I have a Poshmark account and I share several time's a day but want to move more of my merchandise. It's slow going but I'm very patient. I just needed some reassurence I was on the right path. I just sold a Prada Tessuto today so I'm super stoked about it, but those Poshmark fees can really add up. I may take your advice and try Thredup and Mercari. I love how you explain the whole process from beginning to end of how you go about making your sales..Many fashion you tubers don't do that.
