@@high-endsecuritysystem.2817 I think when you get married and have kids, between traffic, jobs, paying bills, grocery stores, Dr. visits, life gets busy and the natural way for it to happen is that you’ll see your brother less and less. I hardly see my twin she’s got three kids, a husband and is very busy… I married with no children and I’m still very busy.

The groom's sister definitely gives off jealousy, anger, and resentment. She is holding her brother hostage because he is pursuing someone he cares about. His sister can be tough, but she also needs to learn that if she continues this behavior, she can push her brother away regardless of who his partner is.
Whitney was very transparent with the grooms family. Honestly, she doesn't owe them anything. They have been dating for a LONG time! The sister could be more transparent and admit that she needs grief counseling.
Whitney's mother appears to be dealing with addiction. So her view is going to be self-serving. Why did Whitney's mother even show up?
She wants to be there, but emotionally she’s not sure how to do it.

So I took Jordans behvior as she used to being the most important female in his life and now shes not. Its a hard adjustment for her. Even the way she jumped in the middle of the group hug, signified that she needs to be the center of attention. Hopefully, she will come around in time.

They are my favorite couple on this show. Whitney is beautiful and Charles is handsome. Both are very mature and well mannered despite of their hardships in life. I can’t wait for an update after the wedding and when they welcome their first child (assuming they want children). 🫶🏽

You cannot keep hounding someone to change them. Sometimes you just have to accept who your parents are and roll with the punches. We all cannot have loving parents, accept it and have your boundaries. It’s difficult but necessary for your mental wellbeing.

I had hope for the Mother-Daughter relationship, but having experienced that similar type of mom, I knew she was frauding. That lady made up her mind on that couch with her drank, that she would go silent on her daughter. I'm so glad the sister came around! Everything happens for a reason.

Most people will disagree but NOT all women want to be mothers. Shocking!!!!! Just because you can have children doesn’t mean you should.
Just like father issues are a thing. Mommy issues are a lot more prevalent. For varies of reasons.
I couldn’t agree more!! I think one of reasons it’s hard for society to understand women who have children and not want to be a mother is because of the maternal bond that usually takes place during the pregnancy. That clearly doesn’t always happen. Not all women are nurturers. That doesn’t mean the woman is defective. Motherhood isn’t for everyone.
I also think that when the mother physically lost custody she thought she had nothing to offer. She said she didn’t have a home for her. The custodial parents should have pushed for that relationship. I notice that neither of them are there. Did they pass? I didn’t hear that.
The mother is a addict. The family didn’t want to say anything but you can see it in the sisters/aunts eyes that the mother has a past. Plus the biological father didn’t want the mother raising her
This episode was really emotional to watch because my beautiful mother passed away 2/17/22. I wish I could hold her kiss her have one more conversation I hope they can get through their issues and her mom can be there for her the way she needs to be! 🙏🏽🙏🏽💖💖

Whitney will have to learn to live her life whether her mom is in or not. I can see her carrying that burden but her mom doesn't want to face it so it is easier to be in denail and not speak to Whitney. Because when she talks to her daughter she has guilt. It sucks but is very possible to heal and forgive your mom and get understanding without your mom being involved. I am wishing this for her. I've had to do it for myself. So it is possible. Wish her peace and healing and that she may have gained a sister in the process. Be grateful for the love you have in front of you and understand family is not always blood and comes in different forms. Sending her strength. This episode was so good and I may get into helping people directly.
This is how relationship with family's must be, in the end all become winners.

yeah I didn't like the fact that she "stalked" him and pursued him. She's the prize. Hopefully she doesn't try to be a mother figure to him and rather sit back and be a wife
I agree. I think they can work but I do see the red flags. Their red flags aren’t deal breakers though, they just need more coaching and therapy. Like when she said she try’s to give him the love that he’s missing from his mom (or something like that)..that’s sweet but they just need a different perspective. I pray they will be great together

The mother is confused also . After she loses custody for Whitney, I think she gives up, and she just gets comfortable with her life. But I think improvement is a door open towards their relationships

What a beautiful story.. Reading some of the comments people take one perspective and make that the person’s entire identity. Each one of these people have trauma, but they have all shown that they are all open to working on it. The Lord told me that In the presence of adversity trauma is revealed, but it’s through God’s grace that people are healed.. Judgement is normal, but people have to learn to view others through the lens of grace. Praying that we learn to see each other through the same lens God see’s us through.. 🙏🏽

I think the sister is still experiencing hurt from the mother passing away. My mother also passed when I was 12 and I'm still going through lessons because I havent healed.

I think Whitney’s mom is feeling shame for losing custody of her. People talk about mom guilt but there is an entire level of MOM guilt when you are not a custodial mom.
