From what I've seen, it may become cumbersome. While it technically has filming capabilities, I don't see any support for it on the Magic Lantern site.
Just use the ones that correspond with your Camera model. Remember that some Canon cameras have multiple names depending on the location, so make sure you get the corresponding one.
