Looks decent. 2011 camaro water pump and tensioner will allow a lot nicer looking upper radiator hose. The outlet is on the driver's side where it ought to be.

That's a nice build. Just picked up a 2000 Tahoe that had a tree crush the roof for $400. Gonna gut it and use the drivetrain in my 2011 Range Rover Sport 💪
So glad to hear you mention be careful with those harnesses 😂 I drove myself insane with one of those. The car DID crank and ran crazy which drove me nuts trying to figure out why. Ended up the harness was pinned all sorts or wrong. Fixed the pin outs and now it's perfect but it was way off

Bro this is gold. If you want to just do a swap you show exactly what you need to get to have it happen. Nice build. The hardest part for me was the transmission crossmember mount had to get it fabricated but it all worked out.
driver side 2nd spark plug wire was literally sittin on the header that will melt eventually grab some sparkplug wire boots for them to insulate them, also get that red wire off the fuel line with the metal clamp, where the fuel pump is... thats a time bomb if that wire splices over time by vibration it can ignite... and i'd also advise you to think about getting a better upper radiator hose situation cuz that thang is kinked and restricting flow.... coo car overall looks nice... thanks for sharin it

@@gordocarbo all that’s a wash when you put the turbo on the 5.3. My 383 is a 2 bolt main so if I turbo that I need serious machine work including H beam rods as my I beams are only rated to 700
Great job sourcing those parts for good prices! I saw a couple of you spark plug boots touching the the headers, you should get spark plug boot covers for those before the boots melt. Maybe even dimple the header to make some clearance. Burnt spark plug wires create weird driveability issues. Good work.
Are those spark plug wires resting against the headers? If so that will definitely cause a misfire eventually. Nice setup and i love the car and what you did with it. Congrats
Just ran across your video and upon watching it I did come across something that was going to hurt you.. (Your top rad hose ) You need to run that hose a different way because it looks closed off where it goes over breather tube and for that it will get hot and over heat
I just pull my LT1 in my bubble caprice a few days ago getting shit ready I had the motor in trans for my truck but it is cheaper to do it yourself you’re videos were very helpful Thoe bro keep it up 👍🏾
I was looking for this comment. One of the headers looks like it’s physically touching the spark plug boot. Run it too long and it could melt through then start arcing. Much respect to the build though.
Man, I've been saving motors for a while. my couple swaps,,, years ago,, This is a good video it's what it's about,, Do my best to use this,, Put square trucks so I got Room ,, This small problem sort of harnessed right,,, Are the best way, yes.,, I guess I need to find a tuner. trust understand junk it's fix. I'm just ready to do one that's not squeezing oil😢😢😢 I need to just do a little better. Probably Going to freshing a couple motors up,, Problem back move,,, But thanks for the a c bracket😮😮😮😮

What clamps did you use for the fuel lines? People say certain clamps won’t stand up to the psi of the fuel pump etc. Obviously you haven’t had that problem with them clamps. And do you have a link to that fuel pump? That’s an in-line fuel pump correct? Part number wasn’t showing in the video.

Get you some wire cover for the fuel pump red wire. Wire is going from here to there and has alot of scrub points that will cause fraying.
