My first and only frogger experience was “he’s back” I was so obsessed with that game it actually invaded my dreams…. So many hours. So many.

I actually managed to luck into playing most of the "decent to good" Frogger games. He's Back, while brutally punishing, is great, Swampy's Revenge might actually just be the best Frogger game ever made, and Great Adventure and Frogger Beyond were... solid, though the latter has some pretty significant flaws.

Weirdly enough, I only played it on PC, but in my dreams it was on an Arcade Cabinet, before I knew Frogger started out as an Arcade game...

Animation was also something originally marketed towards adults despite nowadays its general opinion that animation is for kids. Which Disney had a big hand in.
@@acat5338 Two things: kids, even in the 70's, could get a hold of the occasional quarter to play a round of Pong or Asteroids or whatever, but I do understand where you're coming from. As for animation the medium was that shorts in theaters in the 30's were the main form of cartoons being seen as TV wasn't at all a thing. Feature length animation just wasn't done, so Snow White had to be amazing to be seen, and thankfully it is.
The next frogger game should be a GTA-style chaos driving simulator where the frog finally gets his revenge for being repeatedly hit + run for the past 40 years

It was a small part of the video but the way you presented Elizabeth's story has really stuck with me, and I really hope it's inspirational to young female gamers in their early 20s, because I'm at least two of those three things and it still feels inspirational to me. I can't imagine having that moxy and cunning to do what she did, and almost 40 years ago? Just insane.

I do really love the production value that goes into this style of video. The seasonal touch is really cute, you built a whole new house but still kept the continuity of it being destroyed, and there's a palpable feeling of artistry and heart present in every shot C:
I think the most interesting part of this is that the most unlikely person, a woman whomst was barely let onto the job, and found the idea in the discards, managed to get the game to work even though it was too "childish", in a male dominated field (even more so back then), and the hardest part was asking boomers to let her make it.
Genuinely hope that noodle was fully joking about that dead within a week thing because even this filler episodes are fantastic

Normally there's a point where I watch a RUclipsr, and I watch one of their newest videos, and it's great. And then I watch more of their videos, and the quality compared to that video starts to dip. It feels like lightning in a bottle was harvested, that the video before was the culmination of all the work before, into their best work imaginable
I say all that to say this. That hasn't happened yet. Your work just keeps getting better, and I can't wait to see what's next. For reasons I cannot explain (and that maybe have a little to do with it being 1 am right now) the quote “FAT FUCK! ZOOM OUT!” Is forcing me to do an involuntary try not to laugh challenge.
I've spent a fair portion of my life thinking that I had just imagined Frogger The Great Quest in a manic fever dream as a 6 year old who was given too much Tylenol.
To find out that I had been wrong and it was in fact a real game was not a comfort but a visceral horror that actual people made a game like that and my parents saw fit to buy it for me.
10/10 I never made it past the 3rd area.

The fact that the big dick execs thought (probably) the only video game cabinet at a bar full of drunk military guys away from their home and needed some form of outlet wouldn't get flooded with coins shows how out of touch they are. The game could've unironically been the worst game ever made, but drunk and probably depressed guys will turn it into the greatest thing they've ever seen.
