The most underrated series by far! May is one of the best characters alongside Serena and Dawn(would love a Wallace Cup style Arc with these three in journeys). Great video as always, love your channel!

Man, this video was a huge throwback for me lol. I loved watching the AG and DP anime growing up. Also, the AG Anime had some of the best intro songs (Unbeatable was by far the best). Don't even get me started how good Advance Adventure sounded too
While I'm not a huge Pokemon fan, I had a BLAST watching episodes from the Advanced Generation... specifically Advanced Challenge/Battle and Battle Frontier. It was nice being able to revisit my childhood through your ranking video as some of the episodes you included fit right at home. Keep up the good work man, the stuff you're producing is really engaging! Your voice, the presentation, the audio cues... Honestly, can't wait to see what you and your channel become in the near future!

I love your top two picks. The Blaziken and Sceptile battle is one of my favorite battles of all-time.
And the scene where Bayleef rescues Ash from his own Tauros, and then nuzzles him affectionately. Ok... How can anyone not find that adorable?
This series make me like Sceptile and its pre-evolved forms, and remind me why Ash's Bayleef was just so darn adorable to watch back in Johto.

Nice list. My favorite is Do I Hear a Ralts, though that was an honorable mention for you at least. I definitely think Max is an underrated character and I think should be more appreciated in the fandom. Missing from your list that I really enjoy are I Feel Skitty, Disguise Da Limit, and Pacifidlog Jam cause I love May's Skitty.
Do I Hear a Ralts is so awesome! It’s not Max’s fault that the writers wouldn’t allow him a Pokemon, but since he didn’t end up catching it, I had a difficult time putting it in the Top 20, so it became an honorable mention.
Also, an honorable mention I think you missed, which I personally like, is "Cutting the Ties that Bind." The episode where Ash helps Sceptile to get basically on his feet after his heartbreak. It was a heart-warming episode in my opinion, and made me a fan of Sceptile even more.
I should have added that somewhere as I do like that episode
@@AyaanicBond Glad you agree with me. Another reason I like Sceptile. That whole arc with him ("Odd Pokémon Out", "Cutting the Ties that Bind", and "Kaboom with a View") was well executed in my opinion.
Wonderfully crafted video bro!! I loved ur takes on all the episodes and ur choices are really unique. AG definitely is underrated by a big margin compared to other series, but it’s got so much to offer. Especially the “love letters” as you put it. This video has made me really nostalgic for AG and was a great trip down memory lane seeing these episodes and all these scenes.
Also misty didn't actually catch garydos. She's always had it or at least at the gym. She called it down and it saved her in Pokemon chronicles
as an ag stan i approve of this list. i was thinking to myself what episodes i would choose and wondering what episodes you picked, and with every episode you mentioned i audibly said "oh yeah that's a great one"
AG has some underrated Gems
May was the best female companion. Wish she'd return in Journeys.
But unfortunately she didn't 😢

Ash teaching Pikachu Iron Tail is also the first time he’s sought to teach one of his Pokemon a new move, and he’d do the same with Treecko later on, not to mention helping Snorunt to master Ice Beam.

Another weird episode I like revolving around the Baltoy/Claydol line is 'Me, myself and time'. A cute, self-contained time travel story

I’m surprised you didn’t mention any Hoenn League episodes. Ash vs Katie is the most underrated battle in all of Pokémon. Also, even though he wasn’t there for that long, Morrison’s introduction was great!
Also, no respect put on Glalie😔😔😔
I liked the Hoenn league, but at the end of the day it’s pretty forgettable

Advanced series is underrated, Ash's team was awesome, torkoal was pheraps the only disappointment
May was the second strongest female companion after Iris.
Only problem was no rival(Morrison was not a rival IMO)
i really hope max returns in journeys and has pokemon of his own
I haven't seen all of AG yet (Currently at the start of Advanced Battles), but the two episodes that stood out to me the most so far were The Bicker the Better and (Forgot the name) the episode where Pikachu gets amnesia and it becomes friends with Team Rocket
I love the advanced generation, it is my favorite of the Pokémon anime, it may not have the flashier episodes of the modern anime, but it has the more consistent and efficiently good episodes
I guess this is the final video before he disappeared off a RUclips. When is this man coming back?
Seeing the episode of Time Warp Heals All Wounds in Battle Frontier way back reminded me of the episode Celebi and Joy spinoff in Chronicles👍

While he didn't do anything related to 'you-know-who', he got called out for his toxic traits like gaslighting and self-vicitimizing along with twisted pranks like doxxing and some other shit. (nothing related to what abhorrent stuff the other guy did.) Thus he has taken the back seat now trying to improve himself after realizing how he hurt others.

Yeah the last time we got to see Ash’s new Pokemon meet his old ones was the last Episode of Black and White not even In the Sun and Moon episode Ash and his Alola Friends go to Kanto do we see his New Pokemon meets his old ones except for Bulbasaur.
