✨ Still have tension in your upper body? Try this special 3-day mini-challenge for the neck, shoulders, and upper back ➡ tinyurl.com/3h4pd343 ✨ See you on the mat!
This relieved pain for me today, like something was pinched on one side of my spinal cord, a burning, and it stretched and strengthened an area that will likely have less future pain if I get it, and keep it, strong. This video is a god send. I look forward to doing these a lot more. They feel good and are interesting. I'm a flow artist whose arms are in the air while holding something kinda heavy for long periods of time, and even moving in that extended range of motion, so everything I can do to strengthen this specific area helps me move better and be stronger as well as makes me healthier. I am grateful for this and for you. Thank you. You are a healing blessing.
Wow, thank you so much for sharing your story! I am so glad this was helpful to you! Sending you lots of positivity and strength! ✨✨ Have a lovely day and see you on the mat!
This was great! I could feel my upper thoracic spine shifting into place. Such an integral area to health and well-being often overlooked. Thank you again Joelle 💓
Thank you this really relieved my pain I injured my shoulder after falling since then every movement was agony but yesterday I find you channel will come back to this video everyday again thank you ❤
I keep coming back to this practice; it is just perfect for keeping niggly pain at bay and I definitely notice if I haven’t done it for a week or so. Thank you so much.
Finding your videos has been life changing. I love how I feel after. 10 min a day to curb my reoccurring pain that I’ve had for years. I feel more relaxed. I thought I had to go to the chiropractor weekly manage my pain but your yoga videos are making a big difference. Thank you so much!
I've done many upper back stretch/yoga videos but this has to be the best I've found. This was my first time doing this video and each stretch attacked my problem area. I'll definitely try my best to return daily but I have high hopes that this will help me

@@YogawithJoelle I've been telling all my friends about you! The ones who have tried a practice or 2 enjoy how every practice is beginner friendly! that's what I like too!
Oh my goodness gracious thank you so so much!!!! :) My ma found this one before me and it’s actually crazy how much better this one is for my myofascial pain!! A lot of exercises flare up my back because it’s mostly all shoulder blade related knots but my obliques and lower back get brutal too so for this to work all of it and only flare it a very minimal amount (and because I pushed it at that) is beyond amazing! You’re saving my back far more than 6 months of the gym has for sure!!! :D
This was so helpful for my upper back. I was in so much pain and after doing this practice twice, I felt so much better. I love feeling how it stretches those sore muscles ❤
I'm so glad you love them! I've got a quickie little 10 min twists practice here if you'd like to try it sometime: ruclips.net/video/kd7_zkoDnj8/видео.html

@@YogawithJoelle I've been doing Qigong for a few months to target this area after a loooong shoulder injury and working a desk job...this stretch felt like I met God. You're the best!
Hi Joelle! Do you have a routine for stretching and strengthening a winged scapula, or a suggestion on what to combine this with? I’ve tried the rhomboid one and it helps the middle of my back but not the serratus anteriro or the pecs. Thanks for everything you do!
Hi Joelle Can you create a video or some videos for the mid back? I mean the area of the back that includes and goes from the bottom of the rib cage to the top of the hips. Nobody seems to do this and it's the part of the back which carries a lot of the strain from sitting even when your back is supported. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely keep this in mind :) In the meantime, if you search "yoga with joëlle back pain" on RUclips, you will find a couple that may be helpful 🙏🙏
I woke up today to what felt like a golf ball under my shoulder blade. I must have been doing dead lifts in my sleep lol. But this really helped me a lot. Thank you. I love your channel! It's perfect for me! ❤
Hi Joelle, I often have pains in the front part of my shoulder (rotator cuff) due to a lot of lifting. Are there any specific practice for it? I’ve done this video and it feels nice too. Thank you 🙏
Glad you enjoyed this one Dian! I don't have a practice that's specific to the rotator cuff, but you might want to try some chest openers to bring more space into the front of the shoulder as well. Perhaps give this one a try and see if it feels good for you : ruclips.net/video/8QArvfAO-GM/видео.html

Good question! It'll obviously depend on your body and how you feel, and I'm glad to hear it's helping a lot! I'd probably suggest once in the morning and once in the evening as a maximum, just so you're not overtaxing yourself, and you may like to vary it with some other classes in my upper body playlist, too: ruclips.net/p/PL9wzuXltV2000B1xmeO3rkE0RGuHw0nPm
