If you are on a promo, don’t upgrade!! You will lose it.
Such BS we should have gotten to keep it as loyal bonus or something. But I am not giving up my 35$ + promo lol.
im confused. is ig 45 dollars for unlimited high speed which won't be reduced or will be reduced after 50 GB?
@@cupidok2768 slows down after 50gb
@@cupidok2768 Will be reduced. But if it’s under ultra wide band, than the allotment does not count against your data.

Recently switched to US Mobile and have loved the customer experience! It should be noted that with US Mobile you can do an internal port with them from Warp to GSM 5G and reap a lot of international roaming benefits.
I have the discounted Visible+ for $35. Although double the hotspot speed would be nice, I rarely use the hotspot so will stay with my current plan.
Same thing! It is Verizon...I bet they kick us off eventually lol
The base plan is now faster. Might as well downgrade
@@beaniemac I had the base plan but had some issues with the deprioritized data. The speeds on a few occasions would drop down so low they would be almost unusable. For $10 more a month it is nice to have priority data.
@@FlintIronstag23 I might keep it then. I had the base plan for years until they recently had the $10 off promo for the plus plan, so I upgraded then.
is it still cap at 5mb?
I’m paying $40 for Visible+ and Watch data using one of the old promos. I guess paying $5 more would only be worth it for faster hotspot data
Yeah. Im paying $35 without a watch. Now if they give all they just mentioned AND keep your $10 promo I would upgrade.
This is not a deal to those on promos
1 thing to note on the hotspot. RUclips is limited to 2.0 mbps. So you would not get 1080p video. It would be 480p.
That’s true, and you can also get 1080p video by using a VPN!
I get 1080 p video on RUclips
You can get 1080p video on RUclips with the old 5 Mbps hotspot if you use a VPN. RUclips streams 1080p at a low bit rate.
Not worth the upgrade for me. I have the 1.0 plan at $35 on android and until they add support for Smart Watches other than Apple, i will not upgrade.
Was just searching for this vid, this is so convenient
Thanks for the great video as usual Stetson.
A couple questions:
1. Why weren't Spectrum Mobile and XFinity Mobile included in the comparisons?
2. Are you able to sign up for Metro outside of a physical store? There aren't any stores in my area and when I last tried I was not able to sign up online.
Great video Stetson
Thank you for what you do, I’m switching carriers by the end of month 🙌
Mint has a 1 year senior plan $15 for 55 and older, best plan ever.
What are Mints offerings? Comparable to Visible at 35-40?
hey Stetson, great videos as always, Can you do a cost comparison between prepaid plans assuming a family of 4 takes a yearly International vacation (not CAN nor MEX) for 7 days. I feel like some of the add-on options that are $10 per day per line, would quickly negate any sort of annual savings that prepaid plans bring. I wonder what plan would be the best if needed to be used internationally one a year for 7 days. Thanks!
I just signed up for the visible + tho I didn’t know a promo was happening 😢 but I’ve enjoyed it may switch from my T-Mobile plan wished they had a family plan tho but not too hard to have separate emails tied to one card
I am not finding any info about the ATT Prepaid unlimited MAX nor the $35 for 7 days 5GB international add-on. Is this only avaiable in certain zip codes?
I just signed up because of this video thank you so much! Such a well produced and informative video.
I pay about $35 a month for my line on a legacy T-Mobile family plan. Been thinking of switching over to prepaid lately and Visible plus seems like the way to go. Considering switching to prepaid since I would no longer need to have my social or anything to it. I buy my phones elsewhere anyway. Going to need to see if Visible offers data roaming to where I travel internationally. Thanks for the video.
Do it it's worth it
Stetson is this plan better than the US mobile plan for priority data?
I am going to keep my $35 plus plan & see what’s going on with visible during Christmas. I want to get a cellular Apple Watch, then, but I know I would be jumping up to $45, which is still cheaper than what you would pay to add a watch to one of the Verizon post paid plans.
Would you jump to the $45 plan to get the Apple Watch or downgrade to the $25 plan, to pay the $10 extra ($35 total) to get the Apple Watch?
On base plan and love it. Looking at annual plans for the new Visible annual plans that just launched.
Another great detailed video 🫡
In what device do I install the VPN if I connect a router to a cell phone which is the source of internet access. I use this setup in a motorhome. I am seriously considering using Visible for my access. Am not sure if the router gets the VPN or the cell phone. Trying to make sure I do not run out of hotspot data
Very well done video, Stetson!!
Thank you, Jeffrey!
GOOD COMPARISON VIDEO!
Thanks for breaking it all down
Thanks Bo!
Thanks Stetson!
I like your videos it's refreshing ❤
Its interesting, US mobile has there starter for $23 or there premium for only $37 if you pay by the year.
Stetson great videos you put out, can you do Spectrum Mobile, if it's any good to get I live in Texas
720p would be a steal
Towards you mentioned something about US Mobile and no sms messages for 2FA. Any plan with WiFi Calling should suffice overseas. But I’d avoid using SMS for 2FA whenever possible as it’s too any to hack.
That’s a great call! I never thought about that!
I am glad I came across this video. The Visible change was a welcome addition. Anything AT&T in my area has limited to nothing as it relates to 5G. Also the signal is not good at my place of employment.
Does it have unlimited international roaming outside the USA?
Im paying $25 for the $45 visible plus plan and I'm getting about over 500mbps on visible Verizon I love it
So with the new Visible 2.0 plan streaming on RUclips would still be restricted to 2 mb/s (480p)?
I’d like to see a video on comparing Verizon wireless current plans with these plans since they’re on the same network
No mention about the fact Visible base only got bumped from 200Mbps to a 400Mbps cap? It sucks that Visible continues to hide that they're throttling customers.
“Only” as if 99.99% of people care at that point. Like seriously when do people feel like 400 Mbps is not fast enough?
exactly. It’s extremely rare you’re going to get 400 down anyways. Plus it’s a 25.00 a month plan. Use your brain.
@@chrismargolis There are plans that don't have the 400Mbps cap. Customers have a right to know.
@@earlusmcdivett There are $25 plans that don't have any cap. Customers have a right to know what they're paying for.
@@saerend9905 For $25 I'm sure nobody cares about the exact speed.
If you pay for the year it’s technically 32$ a month but that’s committing to a year. I had committed to yearly with mint mobile and wished i would have heard about visible sooner lol. I just don’t like to worry about monthly bills so yearly works for me. So for those who are like me that 32$ a month paying annually is a pretty good deal. I would try one month first to see how coverage and service is then would change to the yearly payment
I noticed 5g and lte is capped at 50gb on $45 plan vs unlimited on $25 plan. I don't live in a city with Ultra service and normally travel to small towns without Ultra service. Not sure why I would upgrade to $45 plan? am I missing something in my case?
The fact a 500gb of priority data exists is crazy. I used data for a whole month with 1080 streaming and social media etc. and only used about 125 gb on an unlimited plan.
For me, grandfather'ed into the $35/month Visible+ just for the higher speed data has me considering dropping down to Visible Base as it may suit my use case. Hotspot and an Apple Watch are not a big draw and if I need MEX Or CAN data traveling, I can get it.
The improvements in Visible Base make it more appealing than it was before.
I have never had a cell phone, so am a complete noob. :) If the hotspot is truly unlimited, could I use that at home in lieu of wifi for my computer, tv and Alexa devices allowing me to get rid of my home internet service? Thank You
Are those affiliated links? I would like to support you. Thank you for your hard work
You are welcome! Yes, they are affiliate links.
Perfect timing, can you make a video explaining 4k using the VPN 🙏
Sure thing!
On Visible Plus for $35 Month. Stetson, How can you get coverage map pro. I have the coverage map app but doesn’t give me the option to upgrade. I also went to the App Store and there was no option there either.
You can learn more and get Pro here! coveragemap.com/pricing
Hey Stetson you got one thing wrong on the Metro by T-Mobile you do get 10gb of hotspot for the metro $25 single plan
I have the visible base plan from 2/29/24. I tested out the hotspot using two devices and one of them wont connect. Am I stuck with one device connected at a time for the hotspot?
Same for me. On iPhone eSIM.
Visible only allows one device on the hotspot but a bridge as the device allows the bridge wifi limit which can be 10 wifi devices on some bridges.
I’m on the visible+ for $35 w/ my watch included from a promo. I don’t think I’m going to change right now.
Update: contacted visible & they said I’d lose all discounts to be able to pay for annually & it’s not worth that to me. Just in case anyone else was wondering
Just figured out that Verizon recently added 5g coverage in my area but I still have until September on mint mobile but then only $23 a month for mint mobile for a year because of my referral bonuses but September of 2025 I will most likely go with visible unless mint mobile makes it truly unlimited and adds smart watch support.
Is there any difference with having the 100GB priority data to the 50GB on the visible? I guess I'm a bit confused on the whole "Unlimited data" and how the priority speeds work.
US mobile gives 100GB priority. Once that’s used, your speeds are capped at 1Mbps. So for the first 100 GB, . Visible plus on the other hand, gives you 50 GB of priority data on LTE/5G nationwide. Truly unlimited priority on 5G. After using the 50 GB on LTE/5G nationwide, your speeds could be slowed down if in a congested area. But it’s not a hard limit like US mobiles.
Wonder if the domestic roaming is still capped? Such as Appalachian Wireless area.
I can confirm that Visible coverage is NOT the same as Verizon. I have a Verizon trial along with my Visible on my Pixel 7 and I went up to a lake that we sometimes go where I always had coverage with TMO or AT&T and what I found is that Verizon had a modest signal and Visible had no signal at all there. This confirms what their respective maps actually show.
US Mobile is working on roaming on the VZW network and smartwatch support
what's your pov in boost mobile 25$ plan?
I'm on that promo where I pay 35 a month for the old Visible Plus 45 a month plan. once I heard upgrading takes away the promo...hard pass by me. I don't use hotspot enough and I don't have a smartwatch to add to my plan. Gonna ride this promo until they offer something better.
I prefer tello, you can pick exactly what you need and don't have to go with packaged plans. Since I started using them I never looked back.
How much hotspot does Tello offer?
@@Kvito_TQ Hotspot use is free with tello so you can use as much as your plan covers.
Just curious. Even if you connect to many devices with hotspot. Will it slow down, the more connected devices?
Yes, your hotspot speeds will slow down with more devices connected. That’s because the 10Mbps will be split across all the devices. For example, if you connect 5 devices to your phone’s hotspot, each will get about 2Mbps. (The data speeds won’t actually split that way - the speeds each device gets depends on what it is doing and how much data it is consuming for that task, but the concept of splitting the speeds is the same).
@@StetsonDoggett gotcha. If unlimited high speed is prioritized or deprioritized, what do they both mean?
You da man, Stetson
Visible hasn't been a bad experience for me outside of having to put my phone in Airplane Mode to get my data back working again. But otherwise its been pretty good to me. Id give it 4 out of 5 stars. Its really all about your location, if Verizon is good in your area then Visible will be good in your area. If Verizon isn't good in your area then Visible wont be good in your area.
I have to do the same thing to get my data be too!
I love my US Mobile priority data at 25 a month! Love it!
Thanks, I'll check it out!
Same! Mine is $27/month since we have 2 lines, but I love it. An extra $2/month to get priority data (which matters in my area in Dallas), awesome customer service, and the ability to internally port to T-Mobile coverage if I ever needed it.
I only use 20-25GB a month anyway. Even if I do go over 35GB on Unlimited Starter, 1mbps throttle for a day or two won’t kill me. Plenty fast enough for iMessage, emails, Google searches, Google Maps, etc.
What would u recommend visible or US mobile
@@Wavewisee US Mobile on the Verizon network. They offer T-Mobile and Verizon but the Verizon one has priority data and Full 5G UWB access as well. I am not sure about the T-Mobile UWB access with US MOBILE. They have quick and friendly support and technical support. Very good. I am very happy with them. My service is identical for my boyfriend 120+ a month service. I pay 25 a month with taxes and fees for unlimited starter when it was new. I jumped on that opportunity.
How is it stacking up against boosts infinite now?
I'm keeping the 35 dollar plan because it's the cheapest I have every paid.
Why is Verizon visible on extra in Puerto Rico when Puerto Rico US territory and everybody else has it included? I just don’t get it. 13:32
verizon doesn't have network there they use roaming even for normal verizon plans. ATT sold their network there to liberty PR and only tmobile has a real network there now
Now that there is a global pass, I might switch back to the base plan. Cuz the legacy visible plan doesn't include anything of the new features on the plus 2.0. Also the visible base now has unaired uncapped speed.
I upgraded to the visible +2.0 platform because of the smart watch. You are going to pay $10 anyways. Also I like to travel one thing you didn’t mention with the global pass with the $45 visible plus plan 2.0 includes Canada Mexico, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.
Hi Stetson, how can one get the new 2.0 plan at a better price than $45...
If you're interested, you can get Visible+ 2.0 with the annual discount, which drops the price down to $33/month. Learn more here (affiliate) - visible.pxf.io/jr7GDe
They now have annual plans
Can you review HeliumMobile
The $35. promotion was only for like 1st 6 months of visible +. After 6 months it goes to $45 a month. Didn't appear like you were aware of that. but ya after the 6 months why not go to visible 2.0 +.
It turns out some of the $35 promotions were time based (6 months or 12 months), and a couple were for the life of the plan.
Mine didn’t have a time limit mine is $35/month for + with my watch included
Do you have a friend referral code?
US mobile $45 plan has 100gb data compared to visible plus and US Mobile has more plan options than two plans on Visible. USM has awesome customer service and has T-Mobile and Vz and soon AT&T
I think it's $50 for 100gb
I have a $35 visible plus promos now i want to add apple smartwatch so how much are they charge from me 5 or 10 dollars honestly im confused
It will be $10.
I’m deciding whether i want to stay on US Mobiles 29$ plan or switch to Visible Plus an not worry about data 🤔
I’m really liking the service quality on US Mobile though
Us mobile for the win. If you have an Apple Watch, definitely go with Visible plus I think, since it’s included.
After a ton of research i’m thinking US Mobile is for me, the service quality/speed, customer service, and everything has been going great and i’ll just switch the premium plan when i need more data 📈
Still trying to get into a group for the group savings every month though!
@@tjanderson6274 $180 for the 10 gig plan and still unlimited if you need more is the best value for me. we tend to use less than 10 gigs per month, so even if I go over and I am at slow speed I’ll still be fine more than 95% of the time
Can you mix cell phone plans. I am on T-mobile looking for something else because I can't mix and plans.
Not in the US because our carriers hate that
US Mobile has T-Mobile and VZ and soon AT&T and yes you can have different phones on different lines.
@@Whitepinoy Thanks for the feedback, I will be looking into US Mobile for this reason.
I've been planning on switching carriers. I've been debating between mintmobile and visible.
Go with US Mobile. Visible doesn’t have enough staff for customer service or technical issues via chat. US Mobile does.
I've been on Visible for 3 years and loved it but recently the speeds and connections have been not so good so I'm going to switch to Mint. I think after you have plan for a while you become a lesser priority customer unless your on a newer plan.
@@jbar_85is it good for iPhone
If Visible had family plans I might go for Visible+ for my family when we visit the USA on vacation but based on all the info I have US Mobile will be the best option for us every time
You have to make your own family plan with visible. One email person line. So I needed 5 lines and had to use 5 of my emails. Still cheaper then the rest 👍🏾
Visible base or US mobile Unlimited Starter ? too hard for me to pick
US Mobile has more plans and better customer service
why is the visible website shut down??
Now they cap to 480 it’s crazy for me… was about to swap my discount ($35 visible +) but I love the 4K video
Same gotta have that uncapped 4k video on uwb and im paying $35
Just started $25 plan 6 days ago on iPhone 12 mini with esim. I am still unable to connect more than 1 device to my mobile hotspot. 😢Any other device shows "Access point temporarily full"
You’d upgrade to v2 of Visible+ to connect the upgraded 10Mbps hotspot to multiple devices.
@@jeffreygoldman8120 but the opening says they were upgraded March 27th. I started my service 6 days ago. Why wouldn’t v2 already be in effect?
@@jeffreygoldman8120 Stetson shows that visible base should also have more than 1 hotspot device allowance. It’s the first thing mentioned after the date.
Yeah, my understanding is you should be able to connect more than one device to hotspot at a time.
@@StetsonDoggett I wonder if you could try referring yourself and putting down $5 to try an esim on the basic plan and test it. I have updated my iOS and made sure there were no carrier updates pending. Restarted it. Still seems to only allow 1 device at a time.
Not quite true. US Mobile on Verizon can call and text via the 10GB eSIM. 2FA still works abroad. US Mobile on T-Mobile has free international roaming. Again, make calls, texts, and 2FA just like at home.
i had us mobile warp 5g on the unlimited starter plan for my 2nd phone i use for door dashing and it was acting slow and i only had it for 3 days so i switched to visible base and i’ve had no problems. us mobile is supposed to refund me
I'm so glad I'm leaving verizon and going h with metro
Can you get visible in nyc?
Yes. Visible runs on the Verizon network for coverage. Anywhere you get Verizon service, you get Visible service.
I use visible 25.00 in a unlocked cudy P5 5g Router and spoofed the TTL I get full speed almost 500 Mbps on b66 and n77 I use visible ONLY for hotspot data cause it allows me to view my wyze cameras on my Alexa echo show 10 1st gen Metro don't work with that and I get 1080 p video on visible too
If hotspot data is still unlimited this is OP
I just got back from Mexico and that 0.5gb was no joke 😭
I still have the 200mbps cap on Visible base after a month.
Have you tried contacting support to have your SIM reprovisioned?
@@StetsonDoggett No I have not, but I should.
Still no premium data on base plan? No, thank you I’ll stay with US Mobile!
Take a look at Optimum Mobile
I just use pairvpn when using hotspot
AT&T Prepaid Unlimited Max has fully Prioritized data with 35GB of high speed hotspot data at $65/mo.
How do you get that besides looking for a walmart that has it?
@@A42yearoldARAB I found a way to do it online at the AT&T site. Plus, they automatically gave me an extra 5GB hotspot forever. I have a total of 40GB of hotspot. Totally unthrottled streaming and fully Prioritized data.
video data caps are hilariously pointless! getting rid of the device limit was a good moved, i always thought that was pointless as well, oddly enough i never seen it enforced on any devices I have.
Metro plans, even the $25 Unlimited data with port-in are Prioritized for the first 35GB.
I'm on Metro 20.00 ACP
So when you pay for a sim card and it gets lost in the mail. Visible OFFICIAL RESPONSE IS. we are not responsible for what happens after the postal service takes control of the package and we will not send you a replacement
ATT/ATT PREPAID/Cricket/Consumer is still the better deal for Canada and Mexico.
I still see $10 for apple watch on visible plus 1.0
Visiting the US right now with the family, got 6 visible lines for free for 15 days with the trial. The video cap is really annoying, but free is free.😂
You can get around the video cap by using a VPN!
Please don't pay 10 dollars a day for intl data
