If Verizon isn't good in your area then Visible wont be good in your area.
It's worth the upgrade if you do the annual plan. The annual plan on the 2.0 Visible Plus plan is $395. When you divide that by 12, It's $32.91 a month. At your rate, you're paying $420 a year.

I pay about $35 a month for my line on a legacy T-Mobile family plan. Been thinking of switching over to prepaid lately and Visible plus seems like the way to go. Now that there is a global pass, I might switch back to the base plan. Cuz the legacy visible plan doesn't include anything of the new features on the plus 2.0. Also the visible base now has unaired uncapped speed.
I am not finding any info about the ATT Prepaid unlimited MAX nor the $35 for 7 days 5GB international add-on. Is this only avaiable in certain zip codes?
Yes, your hotspot speeds will slow down with more devices connected. That’s because the 10Mbps will be split across all the devices. For example, if you connect 5 devices to your phone’s hotspot, each will get about 2Mbps. (The data speeds won’t actually split that way - the speeds each device gets depends on what it is doing and how much data it is consuming for that task, but the concept of splitting the speeds is the same).
Is there any difference with having the 100GB priority data to the 50GB on the visible? I guess I'm a bit confused on the whole "Unlimited data" and how the priority speeds work.
US mobile gives 100GB priority. Once that’s used, your speeds are capped at 1Mbps. So for the first 100 GB, . Visible plus on the other hand, gives you 50 GB of priority data on LTE/5G nationwide. Truly unlimited priority on 5G. After using the 50 GB on LTE/5G nationwide, your speeds could be slowed down if in a congested area. But it’s not a hard limit like US mobiles.
I’m currently on the $25 basic plan, and it’s been working well for me so far. I’m planning to get an Apple Watch soon, and I’m trying to decide whether I should upgrade to the Visible Plus plan or just add the watch to my current $25 plan. I know the $25 plan will increase to $35 once I add the watch, but I’m wondering if the additional benefits of the Visible Plus plan would make it worth the upgrade. What do you think?

hey Stetson, great videos as always, Can you do a cost comparison between prepaid plans assuming a family of 4 takes a yearly International vacation (not CAN nor MEX) for 7 days. Hey Stetson I have the unlimited welcome plan. If I wanted to switch to the visible premium plus, would I have to cancel my Verizon service first? Or do I sign up for the visible plus first and then cancel?
Sign up for Visible+ first! During the sign up process (or maybe just after) you will have the option to transfer your Verizon phone number over to Visible. US mobile $45 plan has 100gb data compared to visible plus and US Mobile has more plan options than two plans on Visible. USM has awesome customer service and has T-Mobile and Vz and soon AT&T
I think it's $50 for 100gb
I prefer tello, you can pick exactly what you need and don't have to go with packaged plans. Since I started using them I never looked back.
How much hotspot does Tello offer?
@@Kvito_TQ Hotspot use is free with tello so you can use as much as your plan covers.
I am on visible + plan for about a year now ($45)
In your video you mentioned that now it will be possible to connect more that one device to the hotspot. I did tried to connect a second device but with no success. It still only gives me to connect to only one device.
any suggestions or thoughts about this issue.
thanks

Now that there is a global pass, I might switch back to the base plan. Cuz the legacy visible plan doesn't include anything of the new features on the plus 2.0. Also the visible base now has unaired uncapped speed.
Is this still the same as of 10/5/24?
What do you mean it has unaired uncapped speeds should I just keep the base plan?
I am not finding any info about the ATT Prepaid unlimited MAX nor the $35 for 7 days 5GB international add-on. Is this only avaiable in certain zip codes?
Just curious. Even if you connect to many devices with hotspot. Will it slow down, the more connected devices?
Yes, your hotspot speeds will slow down with more devices connected. That’s because the 10Mbps will be split across all the devices. For example, if you connect 5 devices to your phone’s hotspot, each will get about 2Mbps. (The data speeds won’t actually split that way - the speeds each device gets depends on what it is doing and how much data it is consuming for that task, but the concept of splitting the speeds is the same).
@@StetsonDoggett gotcha. If unlimited high speed is prioritized or deprioritized, what do they both mean?
Is there any difference with having the 100GB priority data to the 50GB on the visible? I guess I'm a bit confused on the whole "Unlimited data" and how the priority speeds work.
US mobile gives 100GB priority. Once that’s used, your speeds are capped at 1Mbps. So for the first 100 GB, . Visible plus on the other hand, gives you 50 GB of priority data on LTE/5G nationwide. Truly unlimited priority on 5G. After using the 50 GB on LTE/5G nationwide, your speeds could be slowed down if in a congested area. But it’s not a hard limit like US mobiles.
thanks for all the info. I watched this multiple times. Going with visible basic
How to get 4 lines family plan on visible?
Each line will need its own account.
why is the visible website shut down??
I’m currently on the $25 basic plan, and it’s been working well for me so far. I’m planning to get an Apple Watch soon, and I’m trying to decide whether I should upgrade to the Visible Plus plan or just add the watch to my current $25 plan. I know the $25 plan will increase to $35 once I add the watch, but I’m wondering if the additional benefits of the Visible Plus plan would make it worth the upgrade.
What do you think?
Thank you for what you do, I’m switching carriers by the end of month 🙌
Does it have unlimited international roaming outside the USA?
So with the new Visible 2.0 plan streaming on RUclips would still be restricted to 2 mb/s (480p)?
I’m deciding whether i want to stay on US Mobiles 29$ plan or switch to Visible Plus an not worry about data 🤔
I’m really liking the service quality on US Mobile though
Us mobile for the win. If you have an Apple Watch, definitely go with Visible plus I think, since it’s included.
@@tjanderson6274 $180 for the 10 gig plan and still unlimited if you need more is the best value for me. we tend to use less than 10 gigs per month, so even if I go over and I am at slow speed I’ll still be fine more than 95% of the time
They now have annual plans
hey Stetson, great videos as always, Can you do a cost comparison between prepaid plans assuming a family of 4 takes a yearly International vacation (not CAN nor MEX) for 7 days. I feel like some of the add-on options that are $10 per day per line, would quickly negate any sort of annual savings that prepaid plans bring. I wonder what plan would be the best if needed to be used internationally one a year for 7 days. Thanks!
Dude, incredible breakdown. I appreciate you
I’d like to see a video on comparing Verizon wireless current plans with these plans since they’re on the same network
I currently have verizon, thinking of going with visible but streaming in 1440p is a big thing for me, yt , netflix and so far verizon has always been great. visible at 480p streaming is a deal breaker for me.
You can get 4K streaming on Visible simply by using a VPN.
@StetsonDoggett thank you for taking the time to reply. Yes i watched you're video abou the vpn. Huge W is working as iintended
@@StetsonDoggettdo I download the vpn on my phone and should I just keep the visible base plan I’m kind of confused on this?
Great video Stetson
Thank you for explaining this 😊🎉
Which plan works internally like puerto rico and colombia
On base plan and love it. Looking at annual plans for the new Visible annual plans that just launched.
Very well done video, Stetson!!
Thank you, Jeffrey!
Metro website says you Will experience slower speeds after 35gb. On their 25$ plan.
You will only experience slower speeds during times of network congestion after 35GB.
One piece of info missing from your T-Mobile list is the $5 for unlimited call/text/data up to 5 GB full speed. I'm pretty sure that feature should also be available for the $50/month plan since it's available to me on my $40/month one.
i had us mobile warp 5g on the unlimited starter plan for my 2nd phone i use for door dashing and it was acting slow and i only had it for 3 days so i switched to visible base and i’ve had no problems. us mobile is supposed to refund me
On Visible Plus for $35 Month. Stetson, How can you get coverage map pro. I have the coverage map app but doesn’t give me the option to upgrade. I also went to the App Store and there was no option there either.
You can learn more and get Pro here! coveragemap.com/pricing
You’ll need your account number and transfer PIN from Verizon. Once your number transfers over, your Verizon account will automatically be canceled (assuming you were the only line on the account). I hope that helps!
@@StetsonDoggett yes this helps! Would you recommend doing the monthly first to test out the service? If it works well would one still be eligible to do the annual pay to save $145? The monthly rate for the annual would be around $33 instead of $45
Thank you for responding so quick by the way
@@StetsonDoggett just made the switch to the $25 plan, used a code and got $20 off for first month, going to test it out and see if it works for me:)
Update switched to visible+ still with discount
I just signed up because of this video thank you so much! Such a well produced and informative video.
Is it worth getting a vpn for the $25 dollar visible plan ?
I have never had a cell phone, so am a complete noob. :) If the hotspot is truly unlimited, could I use that at home in lieu of wifi for my computer, tv and Alexa devices allowing me to get rid of my home internet service? Thank You
How is it stacking up against boosts infinite now?
I have a different vpn already, can someone explain how using it gets around the streaming issue? Thanks.
I’m thinking if switching to visible +
I have a $35 visible plus promos now i want to add apple smartwatch so how much are they charge from me 5 or 10 dollars honestly im confused
It will be $10.
Just started $25 plan 6 days ago on iPhone 12 mini with esim. I am still unable to connect more than 1 device to my mobile hotspot. 😢Any other device shows "Access point temporarily full"
You’d upgrade to v2 of Visible+ to connect the upgraded 10Mbps hotspot to multiple devices.
@@jeffreygoldman8120 but the opening says they were upgraded March 27th. I started my service 6 days ago. Why wouldn’t v2 already be in effect?
@@jeffreygoldman8120 Stetson shows that visible base should also have more than 1 hotspot device allowance. It’s the first thing mentioned after the date.
Yeah, my understanding is you should be able to connect more than one device to hotspot at a time.
@@StetsonDoggett I wonder if you could try referring yourself and putting down $5 to try an esim on the basic plan and test it. I have updated my iOS and made sure there were no carrier updates pending. Restarted it. Still seems to only allow 1 device at a time.
It’s cool if your always on WiFi and make calls more than you use data cause the data still slow as hell for me
I've been planning on switching carriers. I've been debating between mintmobile and visible.
Go with US Mobile. Visible doesn’t have enough staff for customer service or technical issues via chat. US Mobile does.
I've been on Visible for 3 years and loved it but recently the speeds and connections have been not so good so I'm going to switch to Mint. I think after you have plan for a while you become a lesser priority customer unless your on a newer plan.
@@jbar_85is it good for iPhone
I upgraded to the visible +2.0 platform because of the smart watch. You are going to pay $10 anyways. Also I like to travel one thing you didn’t mention with the global pass with the $45 visible plus plan 2.0 includes Canada Mexico, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.
Best video Make videos like these always
Why is Verizon visible on extra in Puerto Rico when Puerto Rico US territory and everybody else has it included? I just don’t get it. 13:32
verizon doesn't have network there they use roaming even for normal verizon plans. ATT sold their network there to liberty PR and only tmobile has a real network there now
Wonder if the domestic roaming is still capped? Such as Appalachian Wireless area.
US Mobile is working on roaming on the VZW network and smartwatch support
Hey Stetson you got one thing wrong on the Metro by T-Mobile you do get 10gb of hotspot for the metro $25 single plan
Stetson, Do a video with visible annual plan. It’s cheaper than my 35Flash promo & I had the $5 watch plan.
Can you mix cell phone plans. I am on T-mobile looking for something else because I can't mix and plans.
Not in the US because our carriers hate that
US Mobile has T-Mobile and VZ and soon AT&T and yes you can have different phones on different lines.
@@Whitepinoy Thanks for the feedback, I will be looking into US Mobile for this reason.
I saw 4 line 30$per line if you have bring your own phone auto pay and fios 1g speed home internet that good deal? Verizon and phone upgrade can you explain plz
Verizon vs visble ?!?!?!?
Visible base or US mobile Unlimited Starter ? too hard for me to pick
US Mobile has more plans and better customer service
Visible is now sending offers to us with the "lifetime $35 price" to upgrade with to the new plan and keep our discount for 5 years.
Hi Stetson, how can one get the new 2.0 plan at a better price than $45...
If you're interested, you can get Visible+ 2.0 with the annual discount, which drops the price down to $33/month. Learn more here (affiliate) - visible.pxf.io/jr7GDe
@@StetsonDoggettplease make a video with the annual plan options!
If Visible had family plans I might go for Visible+ for my family when we visit the USA on vacation but based on all the info I have US Mobile will be the best option for us every time
You have to make your own family plan with visible. One email person line. So I needed 5 lines and had to use 5 of my emails. Still cheaper then the rest 👍🏾
what's your pov in boost mobile 25$ plan?
Thanks Bo!
I like your videos it's refreshing ❤
Stetson great videos you put out, can you do Spectrum Mobile, if it's any good to get I live in Texas
stay away from SPECTRUM MOBILE
