Just ordered some custom AR8s with leather midsoles and bottom along with a leather loop! My new hiking boots as all the others are waterproof which means they don’t breathe.
I will say I bought some Drews Boots and the wait was 6 months with no custom build!

@@FlannelGorilla yes! Only took a month to the US. LOVE the setup and exactly what I wanted where it’s all leather and not fully waterproof so they can breathe with fall hunting. Love the 8” support and slowly working them in!
They did start making the razorbacks with a leather midsole right after I ordered. I did get a pair without those midsole for summer hiking and love them.
@@striderwolf687 great deal! Going to get mine ordered asap, I want AR8 all black with lower rough out and a composite toe, with either the mini lug or the tyre wedge on a leather midsole.

Nice boots!! I ordered my AR8'S as steel toe in November and im loving them.
Like you theres a few things i am thinking i would have liked to change. Not that they are bad just a personal choice. Like an extra speed hook 🤷♂️ and leather mid-sole.
I figure this way its an excuse to order more lol. How do you like the tire sole?
Thank you! The tire sole is nice, not as hard underfoot as I thought it would be but my wife isn’t a fan because it leaves black streaks on some of our flooring 🤣
Do you like the mini lug better than the tyre sole on the RB?
I prefer the mini lug. The Tyre sole marks up my floor, lol, it is comfortable though. Thanks for watching!
Hi, thank you! Any recommendations on what product to use to shine them?
Depends on your use case. I wax mine up, but then I deal with rain quite a bit. Any balm or conditioner works really; Jim Green recommends Smith's Leather Balm if I'm not mistaken. Just hitting them up with a horsehair brush on the reg does the most for shine I find. Will get better with age. I'm curious to see how the buffalo patinas over time as I haven't seen many pictures of them besides when new.
My two pair of buffs are great. They can be aggressively broken in by soaking them from the inside and wearing them dry with thick wool socks. @SolidGoldHedgehog
For a basic shoe shine, I like Lincoln brand shoe polish.
