    I bought my 2020 talon X4LV because of this channel..we got ours about 2 weeks after you showed your revels video of what you bought..I couldn’t be more happier with my machine, my family loves it..thank you from one talon owner to another, this channel taught me a lot about my machine and I can honestly say I wouldn’t have one without this channel..I’d prob be driving some Polaris changing belts everytime I hit a puddle…thank you Joe I can’t wait to see what’s next..don’t forget about us Talon owners tho 😉

    I love my 2019 Honda Talon 1000R. Yes I do wish it had more power but it’s ok. I bout it because I am more of a rock crawler type person and I think because the 6 spd DCT it fit the bill perfectly. I put it in 1st gear when going up hill or down hill. It saves the breaks. I still have not had to do a break job yet.

    Man I follow this talon since the day I bought mine. I would of love to see a full built out of it. Like long travel and turbo maybe a cage…. Too bad

    The talon is simple to work on. Probably the all around easiest machines to work on, yes the oil change can be a little messy but with a little thinking you can cure that. I agree the air filter is ridiculous. Curious of where you have seen the the door seal kits as I live in Minnesota and have put the cab and heater kits on mine so it would be nice to seal my doors better. I was going to order some different size weatherstripping and make my own but if there’s a kit I’ll go that way.

    Thanks for the review, I've been considering the Honda Talon for a while and also the KRX 1000 4 seater. Comfort is the biggest reason. I do like the thought of having no Belt to have to replace, but I've also heard bad things about the Hondas Transmission. And that Airbox!! Sounds like a real pain in the Butt. I live in DS, you've probably driven by my house. Where are the links to the light panel?

      Dave must’ve forgot to add them… you’ll find them in our panel install vid though. We’ll get them added in a bit. -Joe

    Did you buy another Talon or moved onto another platform since Honda hasn't changed the original design since its initial release?

  • @Dokkema

    I had a 21...I dumped it after rear ended went out...at 200 miles
    Miss my KRX...soooo much better and easier to work on...
    6000 miles on a 21 pioneer...no problems
    But also ..pain for maintenance.....
    Honda could do so much better on Talon...

    • @DerangedOffRoad

      Suspension on the Honda will be much better then the T4. It’s a trailing arm setup versus the aArm setup on the T4. -Garrett

    Never heard of your channel before this video, but claiming the i4WD is "great in the rocks" tells me everything I need to know about your channel. I owned a Honda Talon and a Honda Pioneer 1000-5D (with the manual locker). The Pioneer often made easy work of climbs where the Talon wouldn't go at all because the front locker wouldn't lock when needed most. Sell that "works great" stuff for people who don't know any better, I guess. If the manual locker is ever added to the Talon, I'd own another one as this was my only real complaint. i4WD does NOT "work great" in the rocks and anybody who's ever seen one in the rocks knows this.

      Don't blame the machine and the i4WD for your terrible driving skills. I own a 2023 1000x4 and it performs just fine in literally any of the terrains/conditions out here in the deserts of AZ (rocks/boulders included). Maybe you're just not that great of an operator.

    • @DerangedOffRoad
      @DerangedOffRoad  5 месяцев назад

    • @MontanaBighorn
      @MontanaBighorn 5 месяцев назад

      @jerb9254 yeah just tell me you don't know what rock crawling means without telling me you don't know what rock crawling means. 😅 Surely you can show me one single national rock crawling stock classes competition that has ever been won by an i4WD machine, right? Just one. You can't, because the system sucks in big rocks. But you want to feel good about spending your money so you have to defend it. So, surely you can show me any popular RUclips channel that people have actually heard of before who will also claim i4WD works well in he rocks, right? Not fan-boy channels, but channels who run multiple brands of machines. Nobody who actually knows rock crawling makes such statements. Look at how many axles the Talon at Blown Budget Offroad has gone through. My heavier, less powerful Pioneer with less clearance and less travel was more capable in rocks than my Talon because of the real locker. You just have never played on any big rocks and it shows.

    • @jerb9254
      @jerb9254 5 месяцев назад

      @@MontanaBighorn No one is expecting the Talon to be a Jeep Rubicon technical Mountain Goat, but you. It isn't the best in rocks, but it can get the job done. I didn't purchase my Talon to climb boulders, but if I had to claim that obstacle, it would/could get it done (just not as good as other machines). You're proving my point.
