One I wouldn’t change is actually the window nets. When we first got ours I had planned to take them out rite away. But first drive down a tight wooded trail and not getting slapped in the face by branches it’s the best thing ever We have a couple people in our riding group after riding in the talon and experiencing the same thing have added the nets to their rig. Not for the safety of keeping occupants in. We just ride a lot of tight trails and not always putting youre arms up batting branches away is awesome
When climbing I always switch to manual mode. No worries about it shifting at the wrong time or too hard... I do agree with the sensitive throttle and the NEED for same 4 wheels and 32's. And how about a volume warning for the straight piped wing?????
We just bought a 23 1000R4. I agree with everything you said. The throttle is extremely touchy but it's also a cable and not drive by wire. Could engine mapping still fix that ? The suspension is still alil rough even in normal mode. My transmission shifts very smooth. I was impressed with that. We removed the front window nets but kept the back ones for the dog. I actually like the nets for that purpose or for small kids. Fit and finish leaves alot to be desired. And the wheels and tires!!!! WTF. That was the 1st thing we replaced before our 1st ride. Why honda ? Why?
How’s the ride? I’ve had a x3 and rode in the XP Pros with live valve. They both rode well, I just don’t need a ton of HP. The Talon R4 really hits home with me, but I’m worried it would ride way too rough compared to the others.
your channel is top ! you guys have axcess to honda in carolina...honda could make best sxs if the finaly would : a 72...wide, 200hp on backwheel, full closed cabin version with heater and AC !! ..powerwindows..front wiperwindshield flipp up for air if needet, and diff in the back for street drife, then all block modes, eco drife, throttle adjustment, dämper soft-hard adjustement, infotainment modern standart, a superlight steering mode, a 15 inch cargo spare behind the bachseats, a much biger like speed cargobed.....then they would beat them all , yamaha, kawasaki, honda have now the chance to build the best sxs...please forward to factory...all europe is waiting for this

No everything listed here will just make them way more complicated and more expensive like everything else is getting. Keep them simple and fun. You’re driving an off road vehicle. Who cares about interior. And it has plenty of power, more than 90% of talon owners don’t even use all the power along with all the other brands.
I’ve said it a lot they need make the r model 72inch wide 22inch travel. Give lil more leg room and give us better seats and ones we can lean back some. Give it factor harnesses. Give it touch screen with factor built in radio system. Give it throttle by wire get rid of the cable. Give it 7th gear bumb the speed up to 85. Give it 120 to 150hp better air intake💯. Give it 10 gallon gas tank. Put on 30s or 32s same size tires and rims all around. Hell give it a 96 to 100 wheel base we’re it handles better. To me the r model should be there big hp 72 inch wide and 22inch travel front and back and longer wheel base.. not just give it 4inch more width then the x. Needs be why better if its a r model it’s bad its same thing as the x just lil longer and travel to me that’s rip off really. like I’ve had 4 of them my last one was the 23 model and again I sold it and got the 22 rzr turbo r and the other ones I always sold and got the rzr pro xp….. all I’ve said it in another video it be badass they put the cbr1000rr motor in it that be a monster…
Don't forget the clamps in the airbox. Had a bolt fall off and got sucked into my engine and they had to rebuild. Also the way the clips go on the u joints for the drive shafts. Had one fly off and the cap fell off and had to replace it at 400 miles. The front A-arm bushings are garbage also... super atv makes a better self lubricating bushing. The rack and pinion is garbage also. Not to mention the thin metal where the A-arms attach to the frame... have to buy a frame stiffing plate from super atv. And not to mention having to put the particule separator cuz stock will get caked with dirt after one ride. So much they need to fix on a $26k vehicle... disappointed honda.
So these guys just want machine to increase a lot on how much you pay it this what wrong with these type of people cause they screws the average guy that doesn’t have all the money in the world and stuff just keeps going up in price, here is a idea you what it fixed how you like to do that don’t complain and get the manufacturer to changed it that is what drive the machines up in price

As a new owner of 2023 x4 live valve I think these are spot on. Except window nets. I love those.
Nets are actually a nice touch.. keeps u warmer when its cool and it helps in tight trails and pricker bushes

I ADJUSTED MY THROTTLE CABLE TO NEARLY NO FREE PLAY. IT CURED THE THROTTLE ISSUE..
Recently bought a 2019 Talon 1000R and first driving it the interior was full of dust. What do people recommend, spoiler or rear window?
You guys might not need window nets in your pride parade but some of us love riding in the tight bush.
It’s cable operated throttle. There is no electronic mapping for a cable.

I own a 2022 talon. The second Honda offers a goldwing engine talon, I'm at the dealer for a trade in....

Maybe Honda will put the CBR 1000 RR 215 HP Normally aspirated engine in the Talon for a much needed HP increase.

Pioneer and talon throttles are not good. Not smooth. Just put the rubicon trans in it. Geez
