I did my own front PPF install from TesBros on my Tesla Model 3 a few months ago. I did it myself to save money and I knew it wouldn't be perfect. It's far from it! However, I know the front bumper and hood are protected and the side mirrors as well. My car is not a show car and I don't care if someone sees my inperfections. I actually feel great by doing it on my own!! The fact that my car has great protection from rock chips and bugs gives ME peace of mind. And considering I saved well over $1500 is just a cherry on top.

Great video. I installed a Drive Protected pre-cut front end kit myself for the learning experience - it's definitely way more work and way harder than the pros make it look. I had a few of these issues on my install, as expected, but nowhere to the extent of this one. I was pretty down about it a day or two after the install but after a week of curing and a few very careful touch-ups it looks great - now thinking about taking on the rest of the vehicle! 😝

This is what you can expect with most PPF jobs, very few shops want to invest the time and effort it takes to do it right.

These reviews are fantastic because Tesla Model 3 & Y door handles develop scratches at all for door handles

Sounds a lot like the place I went to get PPF on my Model 3 done in Kansas City. 😢
