Ana it was a pleasure meeting you in person at Mr Special supermarket. I love your videos. Didn’t have time to have dinner at Brisa’s Del Mar maybe next time. Can’t wait to see the end result of the house renovation! 😊
Gracias por compartir sus proyectos y la isla. Es motivación y a la ves ASMR para nosotros quien añoramos volver a nuestra patria. Bendiciones y éxito para ambos.
Damn, I haven't eaten quenepas in over 20 years. 1K for door and windows installation doesn't seem too bad. The property's coming along nicely. Can't wait to see the finished reno! I hope you do a full breakdown of cost to reno and what it's valued at when finished.
Thank you. I probably can do a rundown of the cost at the end, but not the value of the house since I'm not doing an appraisal. You need to eat some quenepas!
Me encanta cuando hablan Español, el asento Boricua es unico, amo a esta linda pareja visionaria, trabajadora y con metas. saludos a Sergio, Ana keep up the good work.
Ana and Sergio I’m sure the house will look amazing I trust you guys will make it great again I will be watching Love watching the progress Soon I will look for a property in Cabo Rojo and Isabela those are the 2 areas I’m looking to invest in God bless you both
Sometimes your videos are hit or miss with me but I really enjoyed this one. Mi papá me dijo que es difícil conseguir gente que hagan trabajos en tu casa so it seems you got lucky. Obviously money talks so that could be the difference too. Looking forward to the progress on the house in future videos. 👍🏼 👍🏼
Great video: Would never imagine a good door can cost $700. Wow. Also, nice restaurants but those are NYC prices. Funny how now the minimum suggested tip is 18% even in PR.
Hi, well he is spending lots of money here, and only the necessary things to get this house running. We are not looking to spend more than we have to, when it already has a kitchen, in addition, an outdoor kitchen with all the animals that are surrounding us plus mosquitoes is not the best idea.
Nice home! I've been wanting to change my windows for awhile, but the mess😬 and cost for windows and instalations🤯😵💫 Noticed that removing windows was not that bad.
Your windows looked great! I replaced decades old Miami windows my grandfather never replaced and had installed your new ones too. In terms of bread! my girlfriend shakes her head with when I also order another batch of it somewhere. I love bread but I been controlling myself the last few yrs. Eating in PR can get crazy. 😂
I am Puerto Rican but thats by heritage. My dad'was born and lived in Carolina til age 11 till when he went to live with relatives in NJ and NYC since 1970. My mom is Bronx born to Puerto Ricans. About this video, I', confused with slang. At @5:40 he says "dame la pollo" I hear that as Give me the chicken. I really don't wanna sound dumb since I am bad with spanish(I always talked to my parents and grandparents that were there in English. I had family in NYC since the 1940s

Hello lady, my name is Louis. I appreciate your vlogs so very much. I wanted to ask you a question. I really want to move to PR around the Cabo Rojo area or there about. I wanted to know what you feel the job market is like out there. I understand that this answer perhaps can vary depending on one's skills abilities etc. But what is let's say someone that doesn't have any specialized skill set but is a honest hard worker that speaks English and Spanish fluently. I've been dreaming of moving to PR for years upon years now. Many people tell, you don't want to go there because of the weather ie: Hurricanes, or the crime etc etc. I get there's good and bad everywhere. If it turns out it's not for me, I'd move back. But I can't shake this desire for the Island. My family is originally from Peñuelas PR. I love that town. Unfortunately, my family from there, my second uncles, sold the land that my great grandparents owned. My grandfather and my Mom and my aunt were raised on that land. It broke my heart when they sold it. I wish I had the money back then. I would have bought it. Anyhow, sorry to be so long winded. I just wanted your opinion since your live there and you have a grasp of what's really going on. I rather hear from you then what people say that haven't even been on the island for many years. Thank you again for your videos I appreciate it.
Why are some Miami did you just want ability to block out view totally or was it a cost thing? Looking at getting windows replaced as well possibly have a bunch of old miami style ones currently.
Well usually it's cost effective and common to put the nice ones in front of the house or where you mostly see them and do Miami in the rest of them. Plus the more glass the worse for me cause I gotta worry about them breaking and hurricanes and things like that.
I'm curious on why extiorer doors to homes in puerto rico are installed with the hinges on the outside, can you explain this. That makes it easy for a thief to brake into a home all they have to do is knock out the bolt to the hinges and the door comes off. It happened to my mom's house.
Food in PR is generally of low quality, pork is rampant (almost in everything) and variety is limited...and good luck finding a place to eat after 8 at night. Also, service is terrible everywhere, it will take a long time to get your food and something will be wrong with your order.
I love the original green floors. You guys should have the floors buffed and shined. Beautiful original floors!
Floor work coming soon!
@@AnaSantapau I love your channel! I'm a fan. A NYorker like you!

No, unfortunately

Well either you had a different cook, or we just have different tastes or you have to order the right dish.
Can't wait to see your next video on the rehabilitation of Sergio's house you made mention in your video that you were robbed curious
I've have had going through some of the comments here giving Ana a lot of shy compliments, I'm gonna tell it like it is< Ana is super hot y punto.😍
Sergio can eat
Yes, we are opposites , he eats everything and a lot and I'm picky and eat like a bird.
