Everything EA says is a PR dissaster. Let's face it the only reason they make money is because they bought out devs fans like. People like those devs so they continue getting their games but EA just ends up fucking those devs over with shit practices and fans eventually get tired of their shit and move on. That point EA kills their host and moves on to another one lol...
They also make money their money from gambling addicts and ignorant kids that use their parents credit cards on lootboxes and any microtransaction for that matter

I hope the main part of the game takes place where the first trailer was. Cold areas covered in snow and surrounded by broken buildings is getting old.

As far as I know, the train will play a big part of the game. So they are likely moving out of the city. I.. Have no idea what that other train was all about, though.

Metro series feel like The Witcher series, first two games are story-driven game with linear gameplay and rich story, but then in the third game they turned it into open world still with rich story and even more magnificent world, also not forget to say both developers aren't always hungry for money but instead they care a lot to their costumers. I hope Metro Exodus has same fate and great result when it's released..

When I heard anna's voice I instantly got chills. The nostalgia hit me hard even though it was like 4 years ago when I played the game. One of my favorite games for sure.
How fallout 4 should have looked.
AyZeD this game does a tenth of what fallout does. Metro games are great but as far as it being as open and offering as many avenues and mechanics as a fallout game it’s just not true.
For instance you won’t be building entire villages in this game.

Besides, we aren`t sure, what will be in the package for this game yet, so it`s a bit early to speak so certainly "how much" this game has in proportion to F4
Dr Mittens PhD is correct, what I meant was the graphics and overall tone, the metro games are alot darker and more serious, while fallout 4 was almost cartoonish both in graphics and tone.

Central Time Gamers As much as I like fallout 4, one has to admit that it was quite shite. The story was shit, role playing was ASS, most characters were dull, and the side quests weren't as fun as they should've been.

I have every Metro game so far, 2033, Last Light, both Redux. And i simply can't wait for this game. This world is so... alive... It's so atmosspheric.... can't wait for this new entry!

Get the books they're excellent. Also they're substantially different from the games (especially after 2033) so I'd recommend reading them even if you have played the games.
I just played through Metro 2033 and Last Light Remux only a few weeks ago, and they are still as good as I remember. So, I am ridiculously hyped for this game, I need it in my life.

duff man great. FPS stealth with a bit of horror elements. I recommend the redux versions you can get them pretty cheap on sale. I think I paid $10 total for the both of them.

after reading metro 2035 and finding out the big twist I'm excited. from the looks of it the game looks like it might start at the end of the 2035 novel to carry on that major plot point.
I honestly didn't think they'd make another one! So pumped!
The fact that it's more open world is so great, must...contain...the hype.

Steven R The third book blew the whole thing wide open. I didn't see the twist coming. Definitely one of my favorite twists ever.
I hope it doesn't take much and instead allows us to travel to a new area or throughout Russia to the goal of finding life. Simply k want it to start where the book ends.

Have played both. Love Fallout’s 1950s/dieselpunk aesthetics and humor but the full out immersion in Metro is unmatched.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Metro series. Love the atmosphere, love the concept, love the mechanics. Hate how the game punishes me when i kill people. O don't attack every "spirit" or creature i see. I don't run away from the dark ones. But when i kill bandits, the game gives me the bad ending.

Kofie Have to upgrade your computer every time a new Metro comes out. Although now that I think about it, it's more like every two years.
Please, do what you have to do to make this 60 hertz on the consoles. I don't care if you gotta "lower" the graphical settings to make it look like the Metro: Redux, just aim for 60 fps.

According to the book, ww3 is not over yet. war is still raging in other parts of the world but the invisible watchers don't want you to know about that.
(The invisible watchers are government dudes that survived and took shelter in Metro 2)
They also control the 4 factions in metro 1(hanza, reds, nazis and polis)

I am waaaayyyy to hyped for this game. It's a good thing, however, because 4A definitely do not downgrade and sure as fuck don't dissapoint.
