Nice work! I really enjoy every single moment.
I did a couple of landings with my dad in a 172 yesterday and it can get stressful when you're brand new like me. I'm looking forward to when I'm in a jet like this eventually.
Cool! Follow your dreams, best of luck for you!!!
Good landing starts with correct executed downwind, trim the airplane to 65 kts for landing without strong wind, and result is no floats, no stress. Do not hold death grip on yoke, hold it like you milking mouse, thumb + pointing finger, do lot of chair flying, one day you will not think on this at all, it will became your second nature.
You are a good pilot Max, this is very obvious... Nice landing !
It's been a long time since you published a video I thought the covid killed you. Thank you, nice cockpit and nice landing! (Toujours aussi beau haha)
nice landing like a butter gj mate
BUTTER
Well, this aircraft doesn’t seem so dangerous after all.
How did you imagine it being dangerous? They struggle to fly all the time?
@@nandihami7430 it actually crashed twice over and was grounded for two years straight, so there might have been a little reason to worry about it’s safety. But everything seems fixed now, I’ll probably feel comfortable flying it.
@@blackwolf1475 Yes I get it, but I thought you considered it being safe by watching this video. Happy flying
@@blackwolf1475 it ain't fixed . The MCAS system is still on it .
@@nandihami7430 he thought that yes .but from one video you can't make such predicaments
My ass will be scared to fly in this plane. Although I'm a pilot 😂.
Not sure how you're able to set up the cockpit like that with all the gear but really great work! Just discovered your channel and I love it as your videos are more than just a cockpit view since you'll include snippets of the PFD, external view and comments like the "nice shortcut" to VOLBI - all of which makes me feel like I am there and is thinking what the pilots are thinking at that very moment. I hope you and your airline will allow you to continue posting new content! Safe flying!
Super good to have you back, incredible footage as always!
Sweet! Really enjoyable!!
Incredible video!! Interesting to see how the Max reacts on the descent!
Great to see you back in the air Max and fantastic landing!
'Beauty' as the callsign :)
Gear down at this speed and altitude, I've never seen something quite like that!
Not sure of the max-8 but the NG you can dump the gear at cruise and is what they use during rapid decent
yes thats new SOP maybe for max
To extend the gear there is only a speed limit (max 270kt for extending, max 230kt for retracting), there is no altitude limit. The gear is the best air brake that exists on the 737, sometimes it is helpful to extend it very early if you're too high, like on this approach for example. Ideally we extend the gear as late as possible, normally on final approach. But in some situations we can be kept high on profile, due to ATC, due to shortcuts, or other restrictions (airspace, terrain, etc).
@@pilotmax thx for the explanation!
Awesome I really like your videos
Nice work Max !!!! Really nice to see you back ! I hope to see more of your flight videos !
Really enjoyed the video! How many times a week are you flying currently? Thanks :)
Good to see you back Max, flying the Max!
As a person who flies 100,000 miles a year as a United Airlines (1k). I never get enough of these views from the cockpit during take offs / landing. I will say your overall camera views, to include your professionalism in landing was amazing 👏
By far one the best video I've seen!!!
But why Not use airbrake For Slowing speed and increase Decent rate
They're very ineffective on the 737, especially at slower speeds ;)
Super nieuwe camera-views. Leuk om een afwisseling te zien tussen jullie, close up van de PFD en door jullie ogen. Keep posting video's en hopelijk tot snel op een van jullie vluchten
Great video. In my beautiful country.
Is there a particular procedure with the MAX where you had to disengage the autopilot at around 9000ft? That's amazing controlling the plane manually for such amount of time! Just like back in flying schoold days 😄
What altitude do you usually fly to manually? My understanding is to around FL 100 as there's less stick and ruddering after that and it gets boring, and you just focus on the climb with the V nav from there.
Hi! Max, a practice question, how do you record the sound please, I've to record the sound for my cockpit videos and your quality acquisition sound seem not so bad. Thx
Amazing landing and approach
Always a pleasure watching your videos, thank you.
Hi there! So happy to see you landing to our beautiful motherland. If that's not too much to ask, what was the reason that you where "a bit too high" on 10.000 feet, but with a not too long time distance before landing? Is it something that the air controllers should have notice before you and help you by guiding you to descent earlier? Or it was something that was totally yours to judge? If you would be so kind to tell also, what was the speed on that moment. And what was the speed the moment you landed? You wrote that the best breakes for MAX is the gear. Forgive my ignorance, where you reffering to the throttle? If yes, how many percents do you estimate that it was when you where descending? And what about before you touched the runway? Last question, what was your favorite food at some Albanian restaurant that you ate?
I love this Airplane😍😍😍 Very nice Video (B737😉) Max!
What was being displayed on the captains ND? A camera?
Beautiful! How do you like the MAX? I've heard from so many pilots that say it's a great airplane?
I love it ! It flies very smoothly, much smoother than the NG. The new engines consume much less fuel, it's impressive to see the numbers on your flight plan, sometimes you'd think "that's not enough fuel for this destination", but yes it's the max, so it's true. Also I love the noise of the new engines. Sounds like baby GE90's. Speaking of the cockpit, subjectively I love it because I love buttons and switches, and mechanical flight controls. It's the same thing as the NG except for the big screens and a few more lights. Objectively they could've improved a lot of things ! I'm also flying the 787, where we have the same screens on the flight deck, but used like they should be, with eicas indications, CPDLC and other messages displayed on screen, electronic checklist, etc. On the 737 max nothing of these has been added. It's the same info we get on NG but just on bigger screens. I also can't believe they haven't upgraded the crappy master caution system, where usually half of the light bulbs don't work anymore after a while, orthe recall gets completely worn out over time. I do understand that they didn't change anything to allow the same type rating as the NG, which is a huge cost saving when you look at how many crew are 737 rated in the world. I think and hope this is the last upgrade of the 737 and that they will start developing something new in the future.
@@pilotmax Totally agree! I hope Boeing has learned its lesson and not stretch the 737 any bigger.
@@pilotmax Apologies for the scaremongering but can you tell me exactly what's changed between now and when the Max was grounded? What's now stopping the MCAS system from doing what it did previously - software update or have they added more sensors etc? I'm not scared of flying, it's just for peace of mind to know how unlikely it is to happen again. Thank you :)
@@pilotmax Exactly! They could've added quite a bit with all that extra screen real estate! They didn't add EICAS on the MAX. Maybe it's to maintain a similar setup as to maintain a common type rating with previous gen 737s? as for the CPDLC, I don't see why they can't just add some software and a data bus to add this functionality.
The title suggests the scrapping of the aircraft is imminent.
Great stuff Max. Many thanks!!! Keith
Awesome footage mate, and nice smooth landing right on the mark
How many languages do you speak?
3 ;) French, Dutch and English
Whatt??? Gear down at 10.000 feet???
Nice Cut!! ;) Thks Tower.
what airline do you fly?
Great video and nice landing. 👍
amazing
Nice landing (butter on bread 🍞)
Excellent video - so good to see the instruments. Really smooth flying and a peach of a landing :-)
Lovely video. One question: it clearly is the procedure at your airline (because I've seen you do it in other videos), but why do you cancel the minima once you have runway in sight? What's important isn't having the runway in sight before the minima, but *at* the minima. In this case it clearly wasn't a danger because visibility was clear as far as the eye could see, but it's perfectly possible to have the runway, lose it, hit minimums and have to go around. Seems a bit weird procedurally to allow it to be cancelled?
Can a normal passenger be in the cookpit also ? just during the take off/landing ? if no is a request can be done ?
tirana is village😂
Magnifique vidéo Max !
why the flight attendant seated on a jumpseat during the landing? usually, I saw them in the cockpit during the landing, any idea why?
2 years after being grounded, the Boeing 737 Max 8 is flying again. remember there was a 2 crashes prior that.hope it safe
Don’t think the pilots would fly it if they thought it was gonna crash again
Crashes due to poor maintenance by the 2 airlines. AoA sensor changed but not calibrated ultimately lead to the Lion crash.
@@GeordieBoy69 nah ,it wasn't because of a poor maintenance, the plane wasn't grounded in the entire world just because didn't maintain a plane properly... the mcas was poorly designed.
I didn't get bored at all. that landing was perfect!! (subbed btw)
12:28 What are the buttons he's switching here? So many of them at once!
The big lever is the flaps, then I'm guessing he turns off engine anti-ice, the switches in the top right are landing/taxi lights, then the turning knobs are the engine start switches which he's turning off and finally, he turn off the strobe(blinking white light in the wingtips)
Retract flaps, switch probe heat off, turn off landing light and turn on taxi light, turn off both starter, turn off strobe, reset stab trim back to around 5.00 unit.
good video and good job !😉 a cool atmosphere cockpit but professional :)..;i like PFD 's 737 MAX ...good landing , fly safe ✈😉👍
Glad you are back! Missed your videos. Excellent landing too Max. Stay safe and looking forward to the next videos.
Maybe i did the pushback, with the noselift…greetz, from ground
It's been a long time since you published a video I thought the covid killed you. Thank you, nice cockpit and nice landing! (Toujours aussi beau haha)
Gear down at FL100? That's a bit of a yikes in terms of noise, but I guess the ATC didn't descend you in time.
great video ✈️ would like to fly the Boeing 737-800 / Max 8 for TUIfly Germany later😀I have been flying the 737 in the simulator for 3 years now
There's something special in this video which is different than other cockpit view videos and made me subscribe this channel right away. Looking forward for more!
Fantastic!!!!!!
Good job keeping the nose down…the paradigm of a thousand toggle switches needs to be broken…give the cockpit configuration and electronics to Elon Musk for a week
We have all this modern tech yet the cockpit is still a pig… ow with a little lipstick on it
There is another way
Good job MAX! I love you channel fantastic.
I watching you in Thailand.
What fantastic views from the cockpit you have every day, I'm so glad I stumbled across your video last night so I've liked n subscribed, I'm going to show my hubby as he's panicking about flying on the Max when we go to fuerteventura in June, thanks for the great video.👍👍
The landscape is gorgeous. The cockpit is gorgeous. A lovely video.
Interesting how you guys dropped the gear way up at 10,000ft. I'm so use to seeing folks drop gear 5 miles out at 2,400ft or so.
Je t’ai vue En 2018 tu étais le Copilote du vol Djerba - Charleroi
What versions of the ipad are usually found in Boeing?
Watching cockpit views makes me wish I could be a pilot :' ) (I am totally unfit to be one ^^; )
It's so nice that cabin crew in training get a chance to sit in the cockpit for take off or landing o:
Thanks for these wonderful videos Max, they are captured in such a professional manner! Can I ask why you put your hand on the Capts trim wheel while trimming during the taxi in checks? Is it to save guard hid knee or?
Good to see you and the MAX again 😁
GOOD JOB EVRY TIME AND NICE LANDING CAPTAINE WHISH TO SE MORE VIDEO EVEN IF I DON'T LIKE THE 737 AGAINST A320 BUT YOU ARE EVRY TIME THE BEST
Excellent video Pilot, I love your explanations, greetings from Tucuman-Argentina
Wait what??? Gear down as a brake. Dit bedoel ik nou.. jou video's zijn echt the best + informatief
The best RUclips pilot!
Very nice new video max!! And greetings 👋🏻 from Frankfurt am main.
I love your videos but I have a question that crew or passengers can only enter the cockpit when the flight is in the terminal but how can anyone enter in mid-air??
J AVAIS OUBLIE QUE VOUS ETES FRANCOPHONE BONNE CHANCE COMME TOUJOURS BEAU TRAVAIL JE VOIS QUE LE 737 EN GENERAL EXIGE UNE CHARGE DE TRAVAIL SUR LES EQUIPAGES PAR RAPPORT A L A320 DE TOUTE FAçON JE VOUS SOUHAITE BON PARCOURS ET AU JOURS DE VOUSREVOIR DU COTE GAUCHE AU COCKPIT SALUT
Best of luck captain with this boeing beast 737 max .it is the birds in avatar movie that you need be carefull with .very nive view though.
Especially after the X-Plane 11 simulator, everything looks clear! ;)
Bonsoir Max,
Content de revoir une de tes vidéos, et en plus en 737MAX, c'est toujours un plaisir :)
Sweet landing. I've couldn't have done it better myself.
I have been gone abroad and I didn't have any wifi for 2 weeks there and now when i'm back i have hundreds of videos to watch but this is the first one i wanted to see
Really enjoy your videos and i like the editing style. Glad I found your yt channel :)
How many flights do you have per week/month?
Thanks for this beauty video and flight , ı really really love your videos and their qualities thanks for again.
Looks like the 738m is a docile handling plane
I hit like when you disconnected the autopilot and autothrottle way before FAF 😁
Wonderful touchdown! Regards :)
I hope that flight attendant didn't think she picked the wrong job
Awesome landing man!
Good to see you back with more videos ~ Cheers!
Wow what a butter landing! Good job 10/10 👌🙂
I’d be terrified to fly max at least for one or to years more I’ll stay away for this aircraft 😅
Missing your videos. I hope we can see another one sooner 🙌🏻✈️
Love your videos!! Cheers from Argentina !
Taking the gear at 10,000ft!?!? Jeez 🤣
Max, is jouw vlieg rooster nu ook erg veranderd door COVID ?
Hows MCAS
absolutely brilliant! thank you for sharing!
Hello, is it still possible to manuel trim on the 737 MAX, or it's only automatique trim now like on Airbus aircraft from what i understand ?
Hi ! The 737 max has a manual trim exactly as on the 737ng ;) There is no automatic trim like on the airbus. Of course with autopilot engaged the autopilot controls the trim, but when we fly manually we use the switches on the yoke to control the trim up and down ;)
Beautiful, I really love watching your videos.
Great. Whay company do you work for?
Very enjoyable footage. Beautiful.
Excellent...please more videos!!!
