Wow, I am a virtual pilot on VATSIM and I thought that real live ATC is way more coordinated... it seems that real live ATC can be weird too :D
Vatsim is still worst than that
Spanish ATC can be horrendous IRL
lol did u know there is also a 'UNICOM' for irl too? its used for grass strips and very small airports, the pilots talk to each other xD
@@rajeevratan3295 it is but couple of years ago there was a frequency 123.450 . So yeah and pilots did communicate on the frequency to avoid crash . They separated about 500ft or more
@@igorolisheveskyi6945 123.450 was an air to air freq, just chatting, but at least here in belgium, it's not allowed anymore
Parking checklist for my car:
* gear in reverse? “Yes”
Parking checklist complete.
so funny
@Javiator I think you missed the joke
I think the NTSB is gonna recommend the addition of handbrake to that checklist, after your car runs onto the pavement and runs over a family 😬
@@johnb8956 shut up
@@atallahnabil9455 you good?
Alhoceima is my hometown, thank you very much Max for this beautiful video. finally landed safely and that is the most important, the atmosphere at the cockpit is very pleasant. See you next vlog. Greetings from Schiphol Amsterdam
Great share, Max and welcome back! 🙂
Thanks! 😃
got to love that pilot induced oscillation short final.
Welcome to my hometown ;)
Ta7ya l aviators dl hoceima 😁
Thanks ! :)
Pleased to meet you Ismael, I am also from Al Hoceima💪🏼👊🏼
What a dream you are living. Just started my ATPL Integrated course hope i can also fly for TUI or Eurowings one day
Thanks for the subtitles, much appreciated!
Awesome video, very educational. Situations like this are most of the time edited out, but this exception to the rule makes this video so much more interesting. The multi-angle view makes it highly entertaining and very professional. The inset of the PFD is a well appreciated feature for the flight sim enthousiasts too. Heel erg bedankt!
Thanks for taking us with you on your nice adventure =) Enjoyed it a lot and I can't wait for the next one! Thumbs up
Thank you ! :)
Oh, you're lucky they found a place for you, most of the time they reject traffic in the presence of the king. The video is a little bit old because it's been so long since the king was there.I like your videos you show how things done and this is the spirit needed that's why I love aviation '' by by ''
Dream job + ur vids are amazing, ur cameras possitions are perfect.
Always 17 for landing the 35 is surrounded by mountains ,good landing by the way
Good to see you uploading again !
Al Hoceima is my hometown ✋🏻
Love your vids, u show the human part of the job. its amazing! cheers from argentina!
Thanks ! :)
Great film,,,one of the better cockpit videos I have seen. Thanks
*PAX 66* that is really where you can see the impact of the Pandemic
However great video as always! Keep up the good work and greetings from Germany ;)
Thank you :) Yes this was shot in summer 2020, unfortunately since then things haven't got any better. Let's hope for the best in 2021 :)
Merci ! :)
miss Al hoceima!! maybe next year again!! thanks for the video,, have a safe flight!!
I love you channel! Found it for just a week ago but I've been hooked ever since and I've already watched almost all of your videos!
Great to see you back. Oustanding Video - new benchmark :-)
Thanks ! :)
Very interesting to view the process of landing!
You should make more videos! One of the best pilot channel in my opinion!!
Thanks ! :)
Insanely smooth landing, judging by the V/S at touchdown, despite the crosswind gusts im guessing appeared shortly beforehand.
Once again an awesome video! Good camera positions, well cutted and perfect quality of ATC. I don't know any RUclipsr who shows better the daily business in an airliner cockpit. Do you always have to ask for permission to film with Tuifly and your captain or how do you decide which flight to film and which not. Thank you very much Max and continue your great work!
Thank you ! :) I ask the captain before the flight if he's okay with me filming. Until now I've never filmed the captain as you can see on my videos. Of all the flights I film, only a couple make in on youtube, usually the more interesting ones, things I haven't showed on the channel yet :)
Glad to see that you're back.
PilotMax can’t wait for you to upload with the MAX!!
I can't wait to fly it again ! :)
Nice. The vfr aproach It was wonderful
Thanks ! :)
Super vidéo a nouveau!
I like the way your video's are made, subscribed!!!
Hi Max, I don't know if you remember me?
I am extremely proud and so happy for you.
Bravo for your professional career, I discovered your videos via Ruddy and I find your videos great. Well done again and keep up the good work.
Loveyou Alhoceima ♥️♥️
This channel is so good an interesting 😊👍👌
When tower told you to expect parking in the taxi lane i died laughing. I have seen som weird taxi position in my home airport but that . Now that it gold .
Merci :)
Merci ! :)
Man ur back after soo much time we all love your video soo much please try to post atleast once in a week
Thanks ! :) I can't promise once a week because I don't fly that much and video editing takes a lot of time, but I'll try to post more soon :)
What a mess !
Errrrr Flight Dispatch hello ! 🤣
A lot of information from ATC, unexpected data, etc...
And what a smooooth landing !
Good job !
very nice landing by captain
Another perfect landing! En perfect tweetalig 👌🏻
Thanks ! :)
Loving the footage, good job.
"merde est-ce que j’ai coupé ma 4G sur mon téléphone? ah ça va" xD best part
Ah nice conversation between pilot and ATC... Even the pilot has french accent😄
Belgian I think
Perfect as always, Max!
Thanks !
Very nice flight sir. And not so far away from EDDF. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Great video! I am looking forward to the next one!
Thanks ! :)
Nice to see upload again!
Thanks ! More to come :)
Very cool, I subscribed
Very very good
Very nice job 👍🏻 !
Very unusual. Great video!
Continue pareil!
wow visual approach that's interesting🤩
« Merde est-ce que j’ai coupé ma 4G »...
Le classique rotation à 50€ 🤣
PilotMax parle français... Ca a refait ma journée !!
Excellent content! Glad ytb recommended me your channel :D
Thanks ! :)
professionally handled!
Thanks ! ;)
Nice flight given the circumstances. Always remember to switch off roaming before take off.
Thanks ! Usually I do remember but forgetting it happens sometime :D
Do more videos like this, i really enjoyed it
Could you please film one of your landings in GMMW?
Hey man I know you are really busy flying but please upload videos whenever possible coz you put the best ones!
Would be awesome if you could release videos more often! Thanks for the content!
Very good!
When situation is changing fast, just do manual flight and manual thrust :)
Awesome video! One question, why did you decide to use runway 17 when the wind was 330 degrees?
Outstanding video, brilliant performance! It's just one miss in my opinion: the Captain should be filmed too, if he doesn't mind.
Salut Maxime, super video! De koning zat in Hoceima daarom... 😉
Merci !
I really do miss your youtube content
The likes speak for themselves! Amazing content
Thanks ! :)
Superbe vidéo ! Je connaissais pas cette chaîne ! +1 sub ;-)
Love your videos
Great video! It always reminds me of what I want to do! BTW, I´ve got my Class 1 examination next week, and I´m a little nervous...:)
Thank you ! :) Good luck with the studies !
@@pilotmax Thank you! Everything went well and I can start flying from August on:)
Merci ! :)
Hey, I just discovered your channel, its really cool. I have a question about the extended centerline. Your colleague wants one from ALM62. What does the 62 stand for? I guess ALM ist the VOR. But I can't figure out the 62. A heading doesn't make sense and a distance neither.
"ALM62" is a waypoint coded in the aircraft database. It is named after its distance, 6.2Nm to the VOR ;) It's quite standard to see this naming of waypoints, on ILS too for example
What´s next? Parking on the runway? XD
Nice to hear from you again!
C'est cool
Super
Yes makker, elke keer grave filmkes 👊🙌
Thanks ! :)
Is this landing done with autopilot or was the captain controlling the yoke?
Awesome video as always, didn't know you speak French ! 👌
Thanks ! :)
super video bravo
@PilotMax
As the whole ramp was accupied by government aircrafts, I asume that a delegation with ministers came on that day to Al Hoceima.
You can see a 737-800BBJ which should be CN-MVI which is part of "Kingdom of Morocco" fleet.
It has the "former" royal air maroc livery but it has other titles.
747-400 CN-RGA
747-8BBJ CN-MBH
are also part of the "Kingdom of Morocco" fleet.
So that would explain why the airspace over the city was closed.
I know that this video was taken 10th September 2020 but unfortunatly I couldnt find any article about this event.
Did the NOTAMs not mention anything about closed airspace over Al Hoceima city?
Hi ! No there were no notams that day ;) It's pretty common in Morocco. Either that or surprise weather that was not announced. We usually take a bit extra fuel to Morocco :)
@@pilotmax thank you for your answer.
I hope you still like flying to morocco.
But first i thought they would send you to Nador when they told you to fly to VOR ARI.
But i have still a few questions:
1) why did you press the reset button for baro minimum when you passed DA?
I saw that in a video of TUI Germany, too. But i dont know why you did that.
I mean you can still leave the value unchanged.
2) Why did you choose RWY17 although wind came from north?
3) you added 5 knots over VRef.
Is that tolerance by company rule?
4)What Windcorrection did you enter in the approach page of the FMC?
How do you calculate windcorrection?
5)Why did Sevilla Control change your route?
Thanks for answering.
in these regions u can expect more extraordinary
Super, j’adore 👍
Merci :)
Dream job that will never have..
I salute you. Could you tell me about the order of release of flaps at landing, at what speed to release them and at what altitude, would be very grateful to you.
Max, a great video once again! However, I think many people would find it interesting if you created an instagram account where we could go "behind the scenes"...
Magnifique video :-)
My english sucks, what's the "beauty five two one" thing ? is it the plane number ? shouldn't it be "Bravo Five Two One" ? I'm a bit confused :-p
This is the atc call sign
NICE! Thumbs Up 👍 👍 👍
Greetings and Like1850
Good to see pilots hand flying the plane for more than 60 seconds on each end of the leg.
Wonder what the NFZ over town was about.
Looking at the cooperate jets filling up parking. Someone important was in town.
Thanks ! The king was in town ;)
@@pilotmax I once was held in my RAF Jaguar at the holding point because another Jaguar was at 8 miles to land. When I asked why on a bright sunny day, I was told to hold again because said Jaguar was being flown by the Station Commander. Rank does indeed have it's privilege.
Great content !
Amazing
