Anyone that doesnt like this video should pay the iron price
I don't like it
@Cullen Walsh you heard them 😂
I see the sarcasm is still ongoing . 😂
My only gripe is that he forgot that the iron islands are a nuclear super power
Forgot to mention how Ramsay grew tired of torturing Theon, because every time he severed a body part it immediately, miraculously grew back again 😝
OMG Lasse! How could we have forgotten that crucial detail? 😂
@@shifterverse Guess that Kraken-sigil is not just for show 😆
No, he didn’t. Rewatch the video and pay attention
I guess you could say it rises again harder and stronger 😏
The thought of Tywin hating Tyrion because the greyjoys think he’s smarter then him is so funny to me.
The Kraken that was promised, born amongst salt and water
After all, who has a better story than Eurin the Bum?
I'm surprised Tom didn't use that clip when I said not book Euron this Euron 😂 Thanls for watching as always my lord! -Lian
Even though, I appreciate the april fool's video I would love to hear your honest thoughts on the house of Greyjoy
We will get round to it Grin! We were supposed to be doing Stannis, but I ended up with a chest infection (you might hear it in my voice a little) and I was in no state to record a long form vid 😂 plus we really really want to do the Mannish justice as hes a fan favourite, so we came up with this idea as a bit of fun. The Grey joys will get a proper vid, but thats a hard mode challenge lol, we're still playing on easy difficulty 😂
Chest infection. What’s the medical terminology for that? Asking out of ignorance
@@BrotherKevinHunter its a catch all term for any kind of infection that affects the lungs, in my case the actual medical diagnosis was atypical pneumonia, which is fluid on the lungs. Not fun times lol
Balon's options:
- Option 1. Attack the North which has literally nothing of value they can use and is way, way too big for them to garrison any of it and therefore they will get slaughtered as soon as Robb marches home.
- Option 2. Sack Lannisport and lay siege to Casterly Rock while Tywin's army isn't there to defend it. Plunder the Lannister treasury (what's left of it anyway) and then just keep raiding the coastline until the war is over. If the war ends with one ruler presiding over a united Westeros, bend the knee. If the North and South are separated, just keep raiding.
Make an alliance with Walder Frey. Excellent breeding prospects, very strategic location, opportunities to get lots of wood (no pun intended, but ok, let's run with the pun too).
Tell us how you really feel. Lol
Not going to lie I thought this was serious up until he said the iron Islands have never successfully been invaded 😂
😂 What you on about stranger? We're dead serious! Thanks for watching!
If they adapted Euron Greyjoy from the books more faithfully then he would actually stand a chance of truly conquering Westeros.Dude came into a possession of the Valyrian enchanted horn that is used to bind dragons to its will after all.
I forgot today was today and thought, "Wow, the rebellion was a fake?! The books sure are different!"
Also, a false flag operation implies someone did it that wasn't them. So if the rebellion was a false flag operation, it would've been the starks or someone that wasn't the Greyjoys trying to get everyone to hate the islanders.
Thanks for the correction Austin. I had it in my head a false flag operation was where you pretend to take a loss in order to gather support. 😂 Thanks for watching! Liam
Got a great idea. Wonder if you can do this for other series too. For example how Lord Voldemort could won in Harry Potter or Sauron in lord of the rings etc. Anyway great video on the Greyjoy's and can't wait for the true king to appear.
Aha good idea! I think Voldemort would have to figure out a way to stop JKs convoluted ways of having him get defeat by Harry. 😂😂
Certainly a lot easier than trying to piece together how to win vids for GOT, nowhere near as many butterfly effects 😂 thanks for watching! - Liam
@@shifterverse nah, in lotr its pretty easy considering one thing going not as it has gone being crucial to end . From 100000 possibilities we got 1 and it s the one on which this damn ring got destroyed.
The answer to both is to kill the red headed best friend
@@tim6454 The genius of this comment was lost on me for a couple of weeks 😂 thats a done and dusted answer, though in HP case it might be helpful to also posion the know it all
I have only one thing they could do to win: Having Book Euron Greyjoy.
Nice video! Though seriously, I think the Greyjoys could've "won", if winning means achieving their goal of becoming an independent pirate nation if they had allied with Robb Stark, sacked Lannisport and started harassing Tyrell lands until Stannis could come. This way, Bran and Rickon wouldn't have been presumed dead, Catelyn wouldn't have freed Jaime and Tywin wouldn't have staged the Red Wedding (since the Jaime would be executed right afterwards). This way, Robb would have kept Tywin's army busy in the Riverlands and the Tyrells would be forced to retreat to defend their homeland, allowing Stannis to win the Battle of the Blackwater, kill the Lannisters and take the Throne. Afterwards, I could see them taking Casterly Rock and seizing the Lannister gold to hire mercenaries and secure their independence from Stannis until Dany showed up, then Euron taking her dragons would be their only hope.
Thank you for your thoughts Jose, I liked them so much they will be taken and plaugerised when we do a genuine attempt at the Greyjoys 😂😂😂 thanks for watching! -Liam
I watched this after April fools day and was so confused
Saddest thing is that the things you used as the 1st-april joke the showrunners actually did as real.... When the „1000 ships fleet“ was mentioned I laughed and I held it as a election-propaganda during the kingsmoot between Yarra/Asha and Euron, but when they really put the fleet on screen.... So sad.... And you were absolutely on point with lot of other ... Greyjoy superpowers 😂
Thanks Sargeras 😂 aye I felt a twinge of sadness when I realised that what I was writing is unbelievably apt for the last seasons. I just hope George gets those dam books out so we can get the Euron we all want to see!
Great video! Nicely thought out in-depth analysis and strategy that the Greyjoys absolutely should've utilized more. My only complaint in this video is that you didn't mention Eddard Greyjoy from the books who goes on to revive the dragon Guams, who was retconned into Eddard Stark in the show and died way back in season 1
There’s just soo much to cover in these videos that these things inevitably slip through the cracks 😭🥲
Nice to see you back Well! I can't believe we forgot about Edward Greyjoy and the crucial role he played in the taming of the dragons and the destruction of white walkers in the long night 🤦♂️
On a serious note, they were well on their way to doing this before those stupid incestuous lizard riders showed up. I mean seriously... INCESTUOUS LIZARD RIDERS FROM OVER THE SEA!!! Who could have planned for that?
I’m watching this on April 5th… it took me a minute before i had to go check the posting date
Haha thanks for checking, now its been a while we know some people who don't watch till the end will take this at face value 😂
@@shifterverse I came to realize something was up when the Kamino cloning facilities were mentioned.
@@awesomeaman113 haha yeah we needed the OTT in early 😅 but woth how season 8 went i wouldn't rule out the labs been hidden under the island 😂
Bro. . I was flipping my shit when The video 1st started. I would like to just guy out of his mind? Then I slowly but surely realized it was sarcasm and I thought the video was great.
Thanks Will! We were aiming to do stannis but illness made it so I couldn't manage a long form video and when we saw what day was coming up we just couldn't resist 😂 Thanks for watching!
my advice with all these scenarios is usually for that house to stay out of it. declare neutrality. Had the Greyjoys done this, i can see a scenario in which theyd be by far the most powerful force on the continent, and then they could marry Rodrik to Dany or something. so yeah if you want my idea on how the Greyjoys could have won the Game, its support the Targs.
Look what happened with your sons when you stayed out it my lord, half the galaxy was set on fire and you can only give us wisdom from the golden throne 😂 but yeah in all honesty pride, ambition and impatience are often the fall of many a character in westeros. Simply backing off to assess the situation can benefit alot of these factions more than diving in head first!
What's crazy about this, is that out of all the Great houses in Westeros, the Greyjoys actually have a good shot at winning the Iron Throne in the books. If Euron succeeds in his fucking bat shit insane plan, than he will likely be king but virtue of having a Dragon and being a lovecraftian demi god...The books get kinda weird.
They also have Victarion, who is one of the strongest characters still alive in the series and is a prime position to be the hero of Mereen and have a place in Dany's court.
Add onto this that Asha and Theon are with Stannis and suddenly the Greyjoys are in position to win the north, the south and Essos all in one go
I think any scenario where Theon doesn't lose his penis would be a win in his book.
For a moment, i thought i was living in an alternate universe 😂
Haha what do you mean Amanda, we've stated nothing but facts in this video 😂 got to read in-between the lines in the books 😂
I was so confused at first. It took me a minute to realize the day. Good one.
Thanks Hub, aye we were going for Stannis but due to unforseen illness and the day we couldn't resist having a bit of fun 😂
Step 1: Agree to Robb’s alliance and sack and conquer Lannisport and Casterly Rock. Start carving out the Westerlands with the North.
Step 2: use the funds to begin hiring sell swords and buying alliance with other houses
Step 3: declare yourself King Balon IX and arrange a marriage alliance with Prince Theon and Lady Margaery
Also, on a serious note...covering precisely how *fucked* the Realm might be if Book Euron gets his way even partially is full of awesome material, and questions. Is he Urathon Nightwalker, the first person in the books we hear to have an active Glass Candle back in Quarth? Is that how he was able to survive going to Valyria and claim the artifacts that he did? Etc.
Hell yeah Dave! Book Euron (in reality) is a facisnating evil bastard of a character. We're planning to do some "this character explained" vids where we try and cover the bits about interrsting characters that aren't often talked about. Euron will definitely make the list! Thanks for watching! -Liam
@@shifterverse Well, if it's not entirely too presumptuous of me, I like to think of myself as a "Maester with a chain made of links of Aluminium"...foil that is and I guess because I studied Economics, I just might be able to claim a Gold link somewhere in there too, and perhaps a Copper one for all the history I had to write papers on in University. To the topic at hand, I've closely read all of the chapters containing Euron *many times*. I can't be the only one who just read the description of the armor in The Forsaken alone, for the simple beauty of it from time to time. I have every mention of Glass Candles highlighted in my digital copy of the books...and a solid idea of the timeline between The Rebirth of Dragons, to Euron's crowning of the Kingsmoot. (Long story short, it's always hard to get concrete dates, but the time windows line up pretty well as I understand it). If you'd like a hand with the research, it's something I've genuinely consulted for professionally and I'd be happy to help contribute to a real deep dive like that. Discussing the symbolism in terms of the wider ASOIAF lore, as well as fiction more broadly. Even if you just want to workshop all the angles, as any good Maester, I live to serve the Realm...of the fandom and any solid content creators that might have need of my services. It's far from a unique CV but it's there. If you think I can help, just reach out, and I'd be happy to! Simply knowing that I helped in the making of awesome content is compensation enough for me.
My personal theory is that Euron probably sailed in the area of The Smoking Sea, plausibly many times during his exile, but there seems to be enough time between Dany's "Miracle in the Pyre" and his arrival on the Isles and the Kingsmoot, for him to have travelled between wherever he was based out of (I have some candidates), Quarth, what remains of Old Valyria (with the aid of a now functioning glass candle, perhaps acquired via "The Iron Price"...or blind luck) and then on to the Iron Isles with some fancy new toys. I don't think it's especially original, but it seems to be on as solid ground as anything concerning Euron ever is.
Hahaha this was great! Thought it was very funny! At some point I would love to hear how the greyjoys actually do win the GOT.
We're on it Michael! But the Fires have demanded the one true king first!
It was 3 and a half minutes in before I thought to myself "This has to be an April Fool's joke."
Okay, this was a truly fantastic twist on the format. I've never once been entertained by any "show-Euron apologists"...mostly because I don't know I've ever seen any...and it would be hard to convince me...but you did it just right. I enjoy this. Photoshopping the actor who I am pretty sure was supposed to be "Dagmir Cleftjaw" into Tyrion was genius.
If you want some super tinfoil, I believe it's The Disputed Lands that argue that The Iron Islands were far more powerful in the past than they are now, because...their islands are on a volcanic caldara! Perhaps you'll get a good laugh.
Another fantastic video, I can’t wait for the one true King Stannis next!!
Someone never made it to the end 😳🔥🔥🔥
@@TheFandomeClips thats the best bit 😂
@@TheFandomeClips i typed it while watching but i see what you did there…. I’ll be waiting for the one true King 😭
@@shifterverse it is honestly 😂
@@rumbabygal-5758 we're both excited and crapping ourselves for the Mannis vid, to say the book version of him is a fan favourite is a bit of an understatement 😂
crying out of laughter through out the vid. I needed that. 😂
Finally the Iron born truth was spoken
Theon actually could have been on the Iron Throne. Kill Balon, and then stay on the Iron Islands for the rest of the war. Let everyone fight it out. Let Dany deal with the Ice Zombies, and Cersi then after Jon takes out Dany and the Dragon is gone. Big dick Theon sails in as the last king.
What a great troll! 😂
We're not trolling Martinez got to read in between the lines in the books 😂
All joking aside, Balon Greyjoy is probably the dumbest character anyone has ever written. He attacks the richest Kingdom when all the kingdoms are united and at peace, then when all the kingdoms go to war with each other he chooses the poorest, yet largest kingdom and he still fails miserably in the end.
Haha we're on the same page Andy, and great points! when we have an actual crack at the Greyjoys, Balon won't live long if the greyjoys actually want to stand a chance of winning the game.
I have quite a personal distain for him. Thanks for watching! -Liam
@@shifterverse no problem man. You’re other videos are great, this one just made me laugh so hard.
He was dumb as hell.Instead of joining robb against a common enemy and the greyjoys ancient rival he attacks the north which is nothing but rock and pinecones and spread out. They could have taken lannisterport themselves with thier 15,000 men along with some northern and riverland support
Please do House Tyrell!
Its on the list Crosslyn! But the Mannis is next, the fires demand it!
The Greyjoys are so terrifyingly powerful, the Night King amast an army of dead, stole a dragon, and crossed the wall just to kill Theon. He knew that if he didn't stop Theon he would end up taking over the world.
In reality after gaining absolute power, Instead wanting that skinny Cercie, Euron would choose his sexy and thick niece Yara to be his wife and baby machine, and the twisted part is, Yara would eventually succumb to being Euron's baby machine, because she knows Euron's sons would be strong. Good successors to lead the iron islands.
Oh gods xD When I suggested that idea, I never ever thought itd inspire such incretdible video xD
Edit: Just now I realise how ironic that a video I inspired would come to be on 1st of April. Which is also my birthday.
Happy Birthday Marek! We're sorry its not a serious take, but we just couldn't help ourselves 😂 we will have a genuine crack at the Greyjoys soon!
genuinely this is very funny. LMAOOOOOOOO i didnt realize this was april fools video
Almost turned the video off lol glad i stayed until the end. Happy April fools
Happy April fools Tommy, aye we don't think this Vids going to play well now the day is over 😂
I was so confused by this video till I saw the date lol
Thanks for checking 😀 we're still waiting for the first person to not watch till the end or check the date and take it at face value 😂
Bruh 😂😂 teleportation technology…I’m dead 💀
Thats how it works… Greyjoys teleport in… kill your… leave. :)
How the Brotherhood without Banners could have won.
Cant forget the forgotten greyjoy, after all Victarion went to meereen and tried to steal a dragon from dany
Can't believe he didn't make the show past a glorified cameo! Thanks for watching! Liam
This is the best video ever
Thanks Ben!
I love how you basically trash the later seasons while being able to point any backlash to the upload date.
Whaaaaaaatttt.......... 😅 we were dead serious Thanks for watching! Liam
A lot of the houses could’ve won the game, if they didn’t get greedy or hesitant in certain moments.
Also, they are immortal, a great attribute to have when going to war. "What is dead may never die; But rises again harder and stronger." Is the core tenant of their religion.
If killed in battle, they just come back stronger. This makes them even more dangerous than the white walkers. I don't see how the armies of Planetos can resist them.
Ohh I'd love to see how the Tyrell's would have won especially faced up against the high sparrow.
We'll get to it freely! The fires have told us the Mannis must be next though 😂
The tyrells could have just merced everyone before the faith militant seized margaery and Loras. They had the largest army, largest region, they basically control the food in westeros, they were rich and they had the second largest navy. If the reach was led by tywin lannister and not the tyrells, the series would have been basically over in season 2 with the lannisters ruling everything. That's not saying olenna is stupid, but she isn't as vicious as the ruler of the reach could be and win.
So, are we going to do the Stanis episode next? Good. I look forward to that.
He is on his way Kali, all hail the one true king!
i know its not the purpose of the video but a video on "how far can they get" to winning
Alright that was funny. Can we get a How House Greyjoy Could Have Won the Game of Thrones now that april 1st is past?
Its on the list Chris! Mannis next though, we already pissed off the lord of light by pulling this stunt 😂
Love it
I'm actually curious to see if you'd be willing to do this video for real and if it's too Herculean a leap in logic feel free not to but I would like to actually see what you think
The Greyjoys will get a real attempt my friend, we just did this one because the Stannis vid deserves serious serious effort and thought and I was unfortunately ill with a chest infection and couldn't do a long form vid justice, so given the day we came up with this as a bit of fun 😂
This is very obviously wrong, everyone knows that Gendry also has access to the teleportation tech.
Well tbh, Tywin Lannister's sister Joanna was the one who said Jamie wasn't his true son, tyrion is
Very true, Jaime was a bit of a black sheep Lannister in all fairness, Tyrion had more of his father's qualities than both jaime and cersei combined! Thanks for watching! Liam
2:42
does anyone know where this scene is from? I don't remember seeing whatever town this is, especially not with a Greyjoy ship next to it, and I don't think these are the Iron Islands
It’s in season 6 when Yara and Theon go to dany and stop in a whorehouse in volantis
If it’s the one I’m thinking of. Its the long bridge of volantis - its in season 6 when theon + yara flee the iron islands (they go to the whore house).
@@TheFandomeClips yeah looks like the one, thanks
When is the little finger video coming out ?
Those types of vids are hard mode challenges (much like a genuine Greyjoy attempt) right now we're playing on easy mode 😂
I believe Theon will become a shapeshifter, turn into a Kraken and help Greyjoy win the throne. Dany can have children either. So they will get married. Break the wheel and establish democracy for Westroes. Also all house all have be destroy in order for this new era of salt and blood.
Here here, I see someone has also read the books and can see where the story is clearly going 😂 Thanks for watching! -Liam
You mentioned their cloaking and teleportation tech but forgot about their memory wiping ablilitys that makes their opponents forget they exist until it's too late.
🤦♂️ dam it your right! How could we forget such an important aspect of their stratagem 😂

Varys can teleport too.
As soon as you got to Tyrion😭😭😭
I’m glad I watched till the end. The whole time I was like “why does this video feel like Fox News trying to give trump another reach around while trying to say that nuking a hurricane is that bad of an idea”
Haha thanks for sticking with it Travis! We have yet to receive an earful from someone who hasn't watched far enough in 😂

Thanks weeb! we thought about making the vid ott silly but in the end decided deadpan delivery would be more appropriate for the day! Thanka for watching!- Liam
It is obvious that book Shireen Baratheon will not be burned at the stake. Her's will be the heart that Stannis must plunge Lightbringer into.
Where is the Lannister vid
Theon should've merged with the sand trout and become god emperor of planetos
Im told the Vale posesses the most advanced cloaking technology ever . How else were their armies able to enter the north without Ramsay or any nothern house being able to know about it
I think the Greyjoys felt sorry for Jon and the Vale been useless and decided to temporarily lend them their tech. Its the only logical conclusion! Thanks for watching!Liam
tywin Lannister always said The 😅Greyjoys are just a glorified house
Can someone tell me what the outro song is?
Its our home made original arrangement of The Warrior of Light theme Bereny. You'll not be able to find it online anywhere.

Theon could have been great if his family didn’t suck
He got the shit stick from both sides, honor of the Starks and the idiocy of the Greyjoys 😂
I’m glad those stupid pirates didn’t win
😂😂😂😂😂
Hilarious and well-deserved takedown of the show's hideous plotting aside, the Game of Thrones is like Global Thermonuclear War & Tic Tac Toe in the old Mathew Broderick movie "War Games." The only way to win any of those is not to play, especially for the Greyjoys with their tiny population and miniscule economic resources. And that's the only way the Greyjos win the Game of Thrones. The only way they become a power is by completely reworking their culture and way of life into something productive, instead of a destructive ideology, based on mythical history, that encourages self-defeating behavior.
Haha thanks Gunleaver! Aye when we do a sincere attempt, not playing the game will be a big part of it, they don't have the capacity to conquer westeros and don't have the culture to allow alliances like the other factions. Thanks for watching! Liam
I know that this is a joke video and that the greyjoy are weak but can you do an actual serious greyjoy video seriously there islands being independent would be all they need or want to win
