I'm 72 and didn't use makeup at all until the pandemic when I discovered You tube videos. I wear eye makup everyday now as a contrast to my white hair. Takes about15 minutes. I apply it while straightening my apartment before pickleball.

I've never prayed so hard in all my life. Her oncologist will biopsy the tumor during the surgery, and then we will know the next steps. I'm scared. She will make the best Mom. At 79 years young. I’m taking a good 30 minutes from start to finish on makeup if I meet my friends for lunch. Daily makeup is very minimalistic with eye makeup and brows and a little BB cream at medium tint.
1 hour for me. I used to be faster, but since i got sick 10 years ago, I'm mostly in bed so on the rare occasions when im heading out and want to wear makeup, i cant remember how, lol. Thank you for your tutorials! I often play them while i get ready❤

I AM SO GLAD you started doing tutorials again! I've missed you! I've been watching you since 2019 and I LOVE your content! I'm 53 and I learned A LOT of these tweeks from you! It takes me about an hour and a half to put my makeup on sometimes less when I'm using powder eyeshadows instead of stick eyeshadow and depending on how much time I have. I like to take my time with it and there IS SO MUCH to correct on my face now that I didn't have to just a few years ago! Like I have always had fine blonde eyelashes and eyebrows but they only get finer as we age so I have to use false eyelashes now. The really good mascaras no longer work! And NOW I have "crazy" eyelash hairs that grow in my upper waterline ALL THE TIME. So I have to pluck those out first and don't usually notice them if I don't get my super lighted mirror and magnitized mirror so I can even see them! I am super near sighted and oh my gosh! Okay. Sorry I vented on you about my makeup wars I have with my face but it REALLY frustrates me because my husband gives me grief sometimes but it takes me SO long to get ready. LoL. The payoff when I do my makeup is so rewarding because I get so many compliments and get carded for buying his snuff! LoL
Love your tutorials! I’m 53 and have loved makeup since I was around 10. I started wearing it around 13 when my mom, a Mary Kay consultant, let me play with her makeup. I can do a day look in about 5-15 minutes but a “going out with babes” look takes about an hour unless he’s in a hurry. It’s hard to decide how long most days because I’ll do my makeup in stages over the course of the day 😂 only to take it off an hour or two later sometimes 🤷🏼♀️
I'm 69. About 15 minutes for me. I think about what look I want, then get the supplies all lined up and then get going. I don't sweat it--I just enjoy the process and want it to be quick and enjoyable. Always enjoy your videos and great tips!
Hi Melissa, a quick makeup look is about 15 minutes. A full makeup look can be up to 45 minutes. Glad I’m not the only one who takes a good while! On work days and in the summer, I’ll use my tinted SPF like foundation. I’m lucky enough to not need full coverage. ❤~Regina~
Honestly my makeup is my zen. It’s relaxing and like art. I don’t do full glam anymore I feel it ages me so bad I’m struggling I’m 50 and I’m trying to embrace my skin changes. My brows take the longest and now I’ve just been doing lashes and brows I wish I could wear concealer and find foundation that I love but nope again it ages me. I don’t have money for high end so at this point skincare is most important to me and it’s so basic but works so well for me. I can take up to an hour makeup unless I’m not happy with my brows and it takes longer.
I'm 64 and love the Revlon Illuminance foundation. I quit using concealer and just blend this very, very lightly up to my undereyes. It looks great and I love it!

I am a full time caretaker, my boyfriend had a stroke a few years ago, I get him all situated then do my thing, lol. Your makeup looks so glowy and hydrated, I love it! I have found that for a full face of makeup I need about 45 min. I let stuff sink in and dry down, though, like my primer, concealer, any cream or liquid products I use, really. Thanks, beautiful! ❤️
My husband always teases me and tells people I have to start getting ready the night before an event or get together because I take so long 😂. It can be a couple of hours when I have to do hair from scratch. But the makeup portion takes a little over an hour. I love the whole process so I take my time most days❤

I wear makeup daily due to age spots and sun damage. But it doesn't take long. I take much more time waiting for serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and primer to set up between layers.

I have oily and dry skin with big pores and texture. Your powder trick before the primer oh and wiping skin first with napkin - genius! Curious if you’ve ever tried Seint? I don’t sell, but would love to make it work for convenience. It melts in my skin :( I keep trying to get my makeup routine down to 1/2 hour but always turns into an hour 😮

If I am being creative with my eye look, especially when trying a new palette, it will take me 30 to 40 minutes. But I try to stay around 20. One of my high school friends said the same thing about what a difference mascara makes. Cuuuute top!

Started wearing makeup 💄 when I was about 11 and now 68. Styles and techniques have changed through the years, but it's still fun to try new products and play.
You look beautiful! I use Maybelline lash discovery on my bottom lashes because it has a small brush. I'm 66 and have small eyes and not enough lashes. Latisse does help with that though.

Hi Melissa, see l don't have to put on eyeliner, but l do use but not all the time, because when I put mascara on, l use eye lashes primer too, but when I put my mascara on, it covers everything where my eye lashes are and in between my lashes, and it covers my bottom lashes too, hugsssss ❤❤❤
If I do a full face of make-up, I have to allow a full hour. I thought I was just super slow, so I feel better hearing that it takes you almost that long. ❤
It takes me about 20-30 minutes to apply my makeup. I don’t use bronzer or highlighter. I’m 46 and will never stop wearing black liquid eyeliner. I saw a woman the other day that had to have been around 80 and she was wearing black eyeliner. It looked very good on her.
I have to go to work most days but I take at least 1/2 hour before I have to walk out the door to put on my makeup. I also really enjoy the process. It makes me happy 😊
Melissa, the darker hair looks fabulous it really frames your beautiful face. Honestly, I dont spend more than 15-20 minutes on makeup and most of that time is working on my brows. I am a little confused about the blotting of the face before primer. Are you blotting your sunscreen since that would be the last skincare product applied?

My brows take the longest and now I’ve just been doing lashes and brows I wish I could wear concealer and find foundation that I love but nope again it ages me. I don’t have money for high end so at this point skincare is most important to me and it’s so basic but works so well for me. I can take up to an hour makeup unless I’m not happy with my brows and it takes longer.
I'm 64 and love the Revlon Illuminance foundation. I quit using concealer and just blend this very, very lightly up to my undereyes. It looks great and I love it!

Always Beautiful Melissa!! I take about an hour to an hour and a half, I LOVE the time I take to do my makeup, it's pretty much all I do for myself. That and my skincare routines. I am a full time caretaker, my boyfriend had a stroke a few years ago, I get him all situated then do my thing, lol. He always gushes over my looks, most days I don't even leave the house, so makeup is my little piece of "me time"❤
Gorgeous as always. I am 55 and have loved makeup since I was 16. I was always a one and done shadow person. Since the pandemic, I have learned through many of your videos how to apply eyeshadow. I never knew how long my makeup application took until today..25 mins start to finishing spray. ❤

I am 58 and just started getting into make up about 6 months ago. "Make up is fun and there shouldn't be so many rules about it" , I love that!! My husband thinks I am crazy for wanting so many make up things, but it really brings me joy to plan out what I am going to wear and what new techniques to try. Your makeup looks so glowy and hydrated, I love it! I have found that for a full face of makeup I need about 45 min. I let stuff sink in and dry down, though, like my primer, concealer, any cream or liquid products I use, really.

Melissa I just first of all wanted to let you know how very much I love all of your videos. My make-up start to finish about 25 minutes.
My husband always teases me and tells people I have to start getting ready the night before an event or get together because I take so long 😂. It can be a couple of hours when I have to do hair from scratch. But the makeup portion takes a little over an hour. I love the whole process so I take my time most days❤

My makeup (after skincare) takes me about 15-30 minutes, depending on how fancy I want to get. Most days I only wear a little foundation, concealer, blush, a little powder, mascara & a lippie or gloss. Great tutorial as always, Melissa. You’re awesome! ❤

Hey Melissa! Love your look! The Sephora Collection powder eyeshadow palettes are really nice, I've been using them for many years. I like to do a full beat face, so it takes awhile, maybe 45 mins. Usually alot longer if I'm watching one of your videos while I'm doing it...I often replay certain parts of your videos, just to catch all the wonderful details. Imagine that! Hi there. I do a full face of makeup but in a simple way…for example I do a one and done shadow and it takes 20 minutes. Mascara takes me the longest. Enjoying your videos 😊

I wear makeup daily due to age spots and sun damage. But it doesn't take long. I take much more time waiting for serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and primer to set up between layers.

Hi Melissa! I am 58 and can I just say your way of doing makeup is the only way that makes my skin look the most flawless. I so appreciate your lessons!! I have oily and dry skin with big pores and texture. Your powder trick before the primer oh and wiping skin first with napkin - genius! Curious if you’ve ever tried Seint? I don’t sell, but would love to make it work for convenience. It melts in my skin :( I keep trying to get my makeup routine down to 1/2 hour but always turns into an hour 😮

If I am being creative with my eye look, especially when trying a new palette, it will take me 30 to 40 minutes. But I try to stay around 20. One of my high school friends said the same thing about what a difference mascara makes. Cuuuute top!
It's always taken me an hour or more to put on my makeup. Whether it's for going out or staying home. I am a perfectionist and get carried away. Started wearing makeup 💄 when I was about 11 and now 68. Styles and techniques have changed through the years, but it's still fun to try new products and play.

You look beautiful! I use Maybelline lash discovery on my bottom lashes because it has a small brush. I'm 66 and have small eyes and not enough lashes. Latisse does help with that though.

Hi Melissa, see l don't have to put on eyeliner, but l do use but not all the time, because when I put mascara on, l use eye lashes primer too, but when I put my mascara on, it covers everything where my eye lashes are and in between my lashes, and it covers my bottom lashes too, hugsssss ❤❤❤
If I do a full face of make-up, I have to allow a full hour. I thought I was just super slow, so I feel better hearing that it takes you almost that long. ❤

It takes me about 20-30 minutes to apply my makeup. I don’t use bronzer or highlighter. I’m 46 and will never stop wearing black liquid eyeliner. I saw a woman the other day that had to have been around 80 and she was wearing black eyeliner. It looked very good on her.
I have to go to work most days but I take at least 1/2 hour before I have to walk out the door to put on my makeup. I also really enjoy the process. It makes me happy 😊

Melissa, the darker hair looks fabulous it really frames your beautiful face. Honestly, I dont spend more than 15-20 minutes on makeup and most of that time is working on my brows. I am a little confused about the blotting of the face before primer. Are you blotting your sunscreen since that would be the last skincare product applied?
