just shared tbis with my mom. i just returned from a trip back home and my mom and put on make up one day to go to dinner. she has not really worn it in a while. she came to me and asked if she looked ridiculous. she wasn't bad. had to help her with the blush (she used a tiny brush) and explain shadow placement. hopefully she will watch. she's just bought new brushes and make up and hair stuff to get positive about herself after losing my dad last year.
So sweet of you to help your mom out. I know so many mom's that spent their lives taking care of their families! They definitely deserve some pampering! Bless you doll!
Wow! This was so informative and helpful for me. I’m 69 years old and I will use this video as a reference before I put on my eye makeup. This is the best video I’ve seen so far to help with applying makeup to aging eyes! Thank you so much Melissa! 🙏🏻🥰
This is the very best of your eye tutorials - IMHO!!! I may be wrong but it looks like you have refined your technique somewhat and your eyes look even better than they did a year ago! I will be referring back to this over and over!
Beautiful! I went 40y now, my eyes have so much lid space (huge eyes), I always was proud of my big eyes, but now it starts to drop and I actually, have to start completely new with doing my eye makeup, watching you doing it with your handicap, motivates a lot❣️
Hi Mrs Melissa! I just found this video in my youtube feed. Wonderful video. You are inspiration to me. I am 40 years old and I love seeing women wearing makeup even with the obstacles of aging!!! You inspire me with hope teaching that there is stuff we can do to work with our aging obstacles!!! And you do it so beautifully and with clarity in how you explain stuff. I love you makeup and want to try the color eyeliner on the lower-outer corner. Thank you
Love this! So pleased to see a mature, beautiful woman share her tips & skills. I will certainly incorporate all of these in my next makeup application. Also, I am a new subscriber! Thank you❤️
You have given me confidence to enjoy makeup again, I stopped once my tremors started and blurry vision but seeing you doing your makeup was the inspiration I needed to enjoy myself wearing makeup again. So grateful I found you on this platform ❤ hugs
Finally! Yay! Omg been soooo looking for someone who is not applying wild pink butterfly wings etc.... I WAS young once... but I'm now by some awful curse, 65 and things have changed! Thank you for your help! Am bingeing!
You are so Beautiful inside and out, such a glowing personality.. Every time I watch one of your videos I learn so much and I feel so motivated.... Thank You!
It’s my first time watching but I do enjoy your techniques thank you for all that you showed us today I’m watching you on Sunday God bless and I think I’ll subscribe
thank you. There really aren't enough videos with tips and tecnequie as one thinks. Its nice to see "real" tips and tricks that work. Hard to find videos on tips and tricks people use for mixing or modifiying products that may be the wrong color, or how to sue them ( ei: tap powder into lid for loose powder and use from lid, cleaning brushes, etc.) still searching .
Hi there. I did a foundation color fix a bit ago. I will link that video for you. I hope that's kind of what you're looking for. ruclips.net/video/2-g7umEWpWc/видео.html
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Especially the tip about using the setting spray on your finger with the eyelid color. My tear glands have atrophied due to Rheumatoid Arthritis Disease so my eyes don't produce tears at all. I had stopped using eye shadow most of the time because my eyes would feel so gritty after putting it on. I have tried cream and stick eye shadow, but at 57 years old, I feel they settle into all the fine lines of my eyelids making me look older.. Definitely trying most of these tips. Thanks again, Melissa.
I'm so envious that you can do upper eyelid eyeliner. I don't know how you do it with your tremors because mine make it an impossible mess lol. On the bright side my tremors have subsided enough that I can do my own mascara now instead of asking my daughter to.
How have your tremors subsided? What have you done? My husband just started to get tremors and his Dr. said he doesn't have any disease but it just happens to some people.
@@roger12393 I have an autoimmune disease called chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy. The treatment I was given is called rituxan. I hope that your husband can find something that works for him I know how frustrating it is to have them.
Thank you for sharing all your tips and tricks. I am going to watch this video next time I put on my eye makeup. I am 71 and have very saggy hooded eyes, infact my 76 yr. Old brother is having his fixed they interfer with his vision. Just a note of interest.. I used Mally mascara and was amazed how long and curled and lush my lashes came out, and I have short straight lashes. I hadn't used or opened the package in 3 yrs. and it was still good. Again THANK YOU ❤️🌹
You're so underrated, such a life saver for the aging gracefully crew, you're a gem, and show us how to break the mold and not conform to what everyone thinks, says, and look FABULOUS while doing it!!! I'll still be wearing colorful eyeshadow all the way into my 90's and still look fabulous thanks to you 🥰🥰🥰, as always wonderful tips, and great video, much love sent 💜💜💜
Thank you!!!!! I am so grateful for this video that I just found! I'm 53 and have very wrinkled eyelids, crows feet, and droopy eyelids plus my hands shake like yours. I've been trying so hard to fig out what to do with my eye makeup so I don't look older because so far when I wear eye makeup besides just mascara I look much older. I can't afford the stuff to plump up my eyes, or to go buy different products like the concealers and color corrector or even foundation but I think I can make it work with the help of your tips! Again thank you for making this video! Eternally grateful!
@@MrsMelissaM Yes! I didn't have your brands, but I used the same colors and techniques. I love the look.I had recently been going lighter with makeup, but now in my 60s I'm learning and loving that it's okay to go heavier and have fun with it! And,I am having fun! Thank you so much.❤
Melissa, this is the best eye makeup tutorial that I have ever seen on You Tube. Thank-you so much. I bought 3 of the products online and plan to pick up one of the Wet and Wild palettes next time I'm in CVS. You really have made what to me is a complicated process much simpler. Thank-you again for all that you do. PS I have tremors in both hands and appreciate your honesty and vulnerability.
Hi there Dorinda! I'm so happy to hear that you found the video helpful. I hope it works good for you. Please let me know what you think. I'd love to hear.
I loved your video another simple trick I like to do especially since I had hooded eyes is instead of lining my upper eyelid I like to use my eyeliner in my upper waterline. It saves tones of space for what little lid space I have and makes my lashes look more fuller.. Also if you use blue in your upper waterline it makes your eyes look brighter. Blue reflecting onto your actual eyeball makes your eyes appear whiter and brighter. It's a great trick for when you are tired and your eyes are looking a bit red and blood shot.. Thanks for the content I love your channel. I am a makeup artist too and alot of the makeup community has become more about drama so I love that your content is drama free.
Great trick on spraying setting spray on sponge and dabbing under eyes, I've been spraying my face before I put mascara on and getting mascara bleed---I'll try this tomorrow
Great tutorial.. Thank you! I saw the outer v tutorial a while back and I've been using it. But the eyebrow tip is very helpful...the part about not taking the tail down low. Subtle differences make a big difference!
