I just cleaned mine - and oddly enough, when I ran a bunch of water inside the hose - none came out the other side. I tried flushing it from both ends, tried the plumbing snake - no apparent blockages - but when no water came out the other side - and the hose was 15+ years old, I just replaced it altogether. Presto. LOL. Thanks for your lovely tutorial. :-)
Omg! Feeling like a girl boss after following this tutorial. You made it all so easy step by step. My machine wasn’t draining and the cost of having someone come to look had me shook! Follows this video (contents of pipe disturbing lol) machine working again! Thank you so much ❤
Thanks for the tutorial. Followed this step by step and it was very informative and helpful. I did feel I needed to replace my hose despite the cleaning process as it smelt bad. Excellent work on the video. Now subscribed too! Regards Stu
Hope that help, some cosmic ingenears desided to split this pipe in two and i can only remove it outside the machine, because on the inside it goes to some weird box which is just covered in wires
When washing whites, I use Soda Crystals in my wash. This not only cleans my clothes and removes stains, it also washes through my pump and cleans my pipe work. It is advisable to also run a monthly cycle on a hot wash of 60-90c with just Soda Crystals or washing machine cleaner. This regular maintenance will make your machine last longer. Prevention is better than cure as well as having a good insurance policy in place that the pump and pipe work can be renewed every few years.
We had to blow through the hose and unclogged the hose. A small object got pushed out through the impeller from the outlet hose. The object was a metal piece end from a waists string on a pair of shorts
Thank you. I was hoping that you would show us how to get the pipe back on again. I'm afraid to disconnect the pipe because I think that re-connecting it will be much more difficult.
Yeah, same. I’m so tired of my clothes not coming out clean. I would love for this to work, but definitely seems like a pain. At least, more so for me because our dryer sits on top of our washer so it’d be a whole affair to do this 😅
UPDATE: For anyone interested, the problem was a blockage in the black pipe attached to the filter (near the grey hose). Just tip the washing machine upside down for easy access, remove the clips and clean out the pipe. Easy peasy!
I've just pulled the sink-end off my machine and found a nasty load of gunk in the pipe as a result of someone (not me) forcing food down the plughole - not looking forwards to the pipe removal, but I guess it's gotta be done!
You might have to clean the door seal on the either the machine, door or both. Some machines have a groove/crevice that can retain wash water and begin to smell.

Thanks for Clear & understanding describing.
Thanks for this! Much more work than I thought. :)
You are just great. You showed me just the information I need because I reckon there was a blockage in the drain house somewhere. Thank you very much.

Very well explained. But I don't have the strength and confidence to do mine

Add baking soda to your load.
Thank you!
Is it possibly to run water through the hose backward, when it is still connected to the washing machine? To save time?
i would not advise doing this as you will wash any dirt trapped in the hose into the washing machine itself
It should work but not as well
Great video! Thanks for sharing
Brilliant 🎉thanks 😊
I just did that whole process but my washing machine is still coming up with an E03 error (drainage issue) :(

Independent strong women 💪 Plus 1 sub ! Easy straightforward to the point.

i wuda gone to the garden and put the garden hose down one end
Oh sure. Now you force the clog back into the machine.
@ watch the video plonker she takes the complete hose off
Too difficult. I have an expensive new washer and can’t try something like this.
So don't then. Simple.
You can’t clean that plastic pipe without taking it off, like all those plastic parts are easy to damage

U forget turn the water off
Way too complicated
Stick the hose out the window
No thank you
