  • How to fix Samsung front load washer if it is not draining. Sometimes they won’t even go into spin cycle. It’s not always the filter sometimes it’s just before the filter this part will fill up with sand coins or get stopped up with a piece of fabric. There’s many symptoms of this problem mainly the machine not draining but sometimes it will throw a error code like ND on the display.
I hope this easy step-by-step video will help you fix your front load washer. Sometimes this problem will occur not just with Sam son but with LJ kenmore world pool or many other front load washers front loaders have this problem quite often and who knows what will be stopped up inside of the machine.
Front load washer repair can be very expensive but if it’s not draining or spinning be sure to check this first how to unclog the drain pump is a really good thing to know for a homeowner that wants to save money on a repair man coming out and charge them a fortune.

I tried two other suggestions (several times), sat on the floor of my closet sized laundry room and cried, and was quite literally ready to throw it out the door until I found this video. I’m just unbelievably grateful that you posted this! Half the day yesterday and all day today I’ve been stressing and trying to fix it to no avail. Tried this with the help of all 4 of my kiddos and was able to wash a load with no code popping up!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️

      Very cool. Glad to help.
I’m hoping that material is not dissolved aluminum. If you Google front load washer spider arm you’ll see a common problem with front load washers. Basically the arm that holds up the stainless steel drum is made of aluminum and corrodes extremely quickly. I thought about this after I made that video.
Hopefully you’re right and it’s just material off the back of a rug.

I insisted and thats when he saw the clogged pipe. Mine was clogged after washing off rugs. The guy couldn't put the drain hose pipe back in place after taking off. He couldn't figure out how to wrap that wire around the pipe. He said he is going to bring a new one. Its already been two weeks. Its very frustrating. I learned my lesson that never wash those rugs in machine again.
I am worried about the dryer, I put the rugs after washer in that. Now dryer is dirty with all those rug crumbs. Should a simple vaccum inside the drier is enough? Or Inneed to worry about something else ?

Where do I find that black hose(with the sandy crud)? Is it front bottom where the water drains or somewhere else?

Most front loaders will have it running to the drain pump from the tub. It just depends on the type of washing machine how to get to it.

I can feel my machine is heavy, so its got alot of water in it. And its upstairs so I cant bring it down to drain it. If I pull that rubber piece off the back will I get a lot of water on the floor? The little drain hose in the front only gave me about 16 oz but it feels like there is 5gallons in the machine. Is there a good way to drain it first?

I have an LG front load washer and it’s not draining. I can see that the mini drain hose is clogged but how do I clean that?

Thank you for this video! I’m going to try this, though I’m not sure it’s what’s causing my machines problems. I was getting a “temperature sensor error” but even after I replaced that, it completed one load and the error came back. I think the water isn’t draining and might be backing up inside, effecting other parts. When I pull the plug on the drain hose, nothing comes out but when I unscrew the coin trap, water floods out even though the filter is clean. Any idea what’s causing that?

Also on the top there is a detergent hose connected which often has several bends in the hose to route the detergent into the drum.
If indeed they used a thick detergent, such as a shaved soap etc, this can gunk up the hose & block it.
When this happens water will usually spill out at the top where the detergent tray slides in and out.
Just thought I would add this little fyi for other folks that may be experiencing a situation in which may not be covered by a youtube video.
It is this very reason as to why some manufacturers place detergent restrictions on some washers, could it be avoided by a better design? of course.
