I am in the second winter of having this same blade on my BX2380 and it is awesome. I easily plow my 300 foot driveway and about 1 mile of private road. I have plowed over 2 feet of snow and have no problem with 4 foot drifts. I keep my box blade on the back and have liquid weight in the tires. This setup is many, many times better than using the loader bucket.
Thanks. I’m just deciding what set up to go with, I have B2601 and just got by using the bucket, last two winters were brutal!!!! Lots of snow!!!! Bucket set up got me by but certainly was NOT ideal!!! Think I’ll go with the hydraulic blade, Thanks!!!
I also have a BX2380 coming next week. My first tractor. My driveway is .25 miles long and for the past 3 years used a walk behind blower....it was a chore I dreaded the WI winters. Now I find myself watching dudes plow snow when it's a muggy July here in the cheese state....I'm gonna order this plow however I think I'm gonna skip the third function option.
nice blade probbly handy for grading too
You need the backhoe on for weight,
It’s a 2380 not a 23s
I have this blade on my BX2380 with a box blade on the back and liquid weight in my rear wheels, works amazing! I think the backhoe might actually be a little too much on the back to be able to maneuver easily. I do need to add 3rd function so I can adjust the blade more easily and without getting off the tractor. I plowed our 300+ foot driveway, 1/2 mile of road and our neighbor today.
