I live In McAllen since 1980. I live here.... All Neighborhoods in McAllen and their roads are well maintain and will take you anywhere in the city. There is No con to this. Since thirty years, McAllen airport has been expensive to take off from to go up north upstate or the rest of the country.
If money is not your problem, fly direct from McAllen, otherwise you must go to Harlingen International. That's a well deserve con. But in the past twenty years the Expressway 83 has been widened and faster, all the way to Harlingen and Brownsville and it's much quicker to day in 2024, Unlike 1997 or so. 14:07 District 15 just turn RED!!! that's must of Hidalgo county finally went conservative. All our region is still conservative.
If you Hate conservatism, don't move to McAllen. The crime in McAllen is low. It's safe. Don't believe let lies and ignorance that the Drug cartels of Mexico's have roadblocks in McAllen, how moroninc is that!!! You'll love the food of our regions, it grew in isolation from the rest of Texas. Authentic TEXMEX cousin e and we also have major outlets of Restaurants like any other big city in Texas or America, we have it!
Entertainment? We have a History of it for over 40 years, from Disco/80s, Rock, Reggaton, HipHop, Norteño, tropical Alternative dance music from trance House, techno To Grunge Indie Goth and COUNTRY... NIGHT Life on the weekends!
McAllen even has a entertainment dance district on 17th street downtown!
NOW you know!
How about jobs? Pay rates?
Here is one link about that.

Hi David, It’s sounds really good to me! I am planning to move there this summer from South Fl. I was very worried about the issue of the border with Mexico and the cartels, if it was dangerous…
Do you know what is the best high school in McAllen or Hidalgo County that is not far from McAllen?
And how efficient is the health care system there?
thanks in advance. 😊
What about African American people?
Direct flights from McAllen TX to Las Vegas , thru Alligant Airlines
Love Allegiant!
The place is trash , the entire valley is boring and dead , I lived there for 25 years and am so glad I moved away, will never set foot in that place again, going to sell my house and never look towards that state ever
I’ve been here all my life. If you like gang members from Mexico 🇲🇽 ,walking distance border wall, murders on the daily, tires always stolen, 98% talking Spanish (no English) then yes. Come to RGV
I've been here 6 years. No stollen tires. Haven't met the gang members, just a lot of regular folk. Sorry your experience has been negative
we know English we just prefer Spanish.
I taught at the most colina fed schools here and never experienced or heard any of that.
@@victorguerra1430 murder on the daily, your tripping !
I’m thinking it’s Jobs only for people who also speak Spanish.
Maybe
Ain't nobody got time for all that
yep, that's what I remembered. Fled the area two decades ago.
😊
In McAllen I heard it’s the most obese city in America
Never heard that
Yes it is
Well the same is said about the USA vs the world
People have diabetes and they still buy dessert high in sugar with a redbull
This is just a commercial for Tres Lagos
I make videos of a lot of neighborhoods.
I’m moving here
That's great! When?
Might be moving to McAllen from Minneapolis. I'll have no friends. Wanna have a beer?
Sure
Leave your politics in Minneapolis.
A beer with a side of 14 kilos of pure Colombian cocaine.
That is not the beach in SPI with that stock film 😂😂😂
Just moved from SA area
Welcome! If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help
Right now I'm just doordashin and thinking about trying to find a job that pays well.
Good luck on the job hunt, pay suxs@@delanomcgee2923
You guys should really work on your editing and the responses. Some of your questions were answered completely different.
Washington DOES NOT have state taxes
Please don’t move here! It’s getting way too crowded thanks to all these Californians!
CA People are Moving everywhere for sure
That’s what you get for living in TX 😉
People that say dumb crap like that act like someone is just gonna listen to some random person on the internet. I’ll move where I want to and you can continue working at Walmart 😂😂😂
I thought the CA people are moving to bigger Texas cities like Dallas, Houston and especially Austin since a lot of hi-tech companies there and people want to live by the hills and Lake Travis
Wait until you pay for property tax and insurance 😂😂😂
Houston is 3.2-3.4% for reference
Harlingen has like 5+ new carwashes 🤔
Definitely a growing trend around the entire valley, yeah
Can you say money laundering
@@KGFishyFingers wasn't that the way they did it in Breaking Bad lol
@@Rambosa19 Sure was!

Not a issue,unless you’re in the slums
That’s not the ocean. It’s the Gulf of Mexico
You must ride the short bus
So hilarious and original
Do not come here if you’re educated . They only want Spanish speakers. The weather is above 110 in the summers. There is almost no winter except for three days to six days. No job really pays well above 40,000 most people live out here on 20,000 or less. You are better off in San Antonio or further north. Crime is bad and so is the quality of living.
Clearly you don't live "here" then.
Yes, speaking multiple languages is for the stupid.
@@LegendJR7 there's much more crime in San Antonio

The valley is 100% who you know. The valley is also 100% Hispanic culture if you come here and try and change things you will be hated. The valley is also Patriotic. If you go to jail from the valley you will once again findout hispanics literally rule this area.
Yes, it is who you know, but that is true of almost anywhere.
The RGV patriotic? U cud not b further outta reality.
Alverta Estates
Yeah dont come cause we speak spanglish and you'll regret it.
Texas we officially closed access to California's and any liberals. We love our traditional and morals. Faith, family, guns , freedom.
Don't move to Texas period the health care is horrible its to hot and texas is a garbage can we moved to palmview texas 3yrs ago and we are selling our house and moving back to Wisconsin 😊

It's only cons, so is Brownsville
Dont move here. Better yet, move out!
Winter time 80 maybe 70 wtf 😂
Our area does not look like these pictures 😂😂😂
How about that bronze bull
Yeah, how about it
Stay of Texas, go back
Napoleon Dynamite?
Yea it sucks here, so don't move here to the valley its horrible 😅😅😅
LOL
Gulf of Mexico not the ocean.
I don't know what kind of drunk nonsense you pulled this crap from. It doesn't even average over 100 here in the summer, and it averages with lows in the 50s in the winter and highs in the lower 70s. Whoever made this channel clearly doesn't live anywhere near McAllen or the valley.
alot of korruption & racism .
Obesity town😢
dude stay out of my city with your BS
Do not come here, you will not like it.
