- The Hollywood Palace walk-on was Raquel's first tv appearance. She decided that a life cooking creme of wheat even if it was for Groucho didn’t inspire her as much as a movie career. During the next two years she landed some big parts, finally starring in this monster flick one million B.C. In the whole film she says only three words, but many more films capitalizing on her body beautiful followed. Unfortunately she was called on to do anything but act. The accent was on the physical. Sky diving, swimming, bull fighting, all in rather revealing costumes. By this time Raquel's exquisite face and figure had aroused the libido of every red blooded American male, and that led her directly to the film bedazzled in which she was named lust. Stardom was one thing but typecasting was another, and Raquel started to tire for being appreciated for her body alone. Kansas City Bomber was finally a challenging role and a demanding production. She studied and did her own stunts, and was even injured during filming but the sweat paid off. She began reaching praise for her acting abilities and not just her looks. In her most recent role Three Musketeers she was unquestionably established as a fine actress in the minds of the critics and the film industry as well as her fans. #RaquelWelch
