I saw smallrigs AD-01 looks good as a beginner in house video production tripod. Im thinking of getting a tripod for lightweight set. The small rig video travel tripod, Ulanzis TT09 video go, neweer 62 video travel tripod, or Coman 61 video travel tripod. I realized doing more video the fluid head is what I need with a tripod.
That is an amazing question and I unfortunately do not know the answer for you. I don't live super near the ocean as well to do this kind of long term testing.
How do you think this would handle something like the Sony 200-600mm lens? Would it be fairly sturdy, or too lightweight? I currently have a Manfrotto BeFree, and it's not sturdy enough
Hi Kyle. Thanks for the video. I am looking for a travel tripod for my a6000 for photography only (no video). Would you have a different recommendation for that need? Thanks.
Hi there! Honestly for photography I usually use whatever. I used to have a $30 tripod that would work just fine for photography because literally it just has to hold the camera in place. I do recommend this one from freewell even for photographers because of how quickly you can go from horizontal to vertical shooting, and it has the phone holder built in. But truly whatever you want and can afford!
I’m wondering if GoPro can be attached to it?

Totally agree. The fluid head is so important for video. This fluid head from Freewell is really solid. Whatever you choose, best of luck!!
Not bad. Is it salt water proof? That's one thing all travel tripods I've used don't address.

I wouldn't trust a piece of glass that big on this haha...
@@kraigpruett Good to know. Thanks

I hope it's also saltwater-proof, as many of my tripods, including the expensive ones, have been ruined by exposure to such conditions.
It's 250€ for a tripod
Truly not a bad price for what you are getting. Cheap tripods don't last.
