For anyone looking for a budget option, Smallrig’s AP-01 travel tripod has 90% the features of this Freewell at a third of the price. It’s aluminum, 2.4 lbs, can fold its legs out for floor shots, has 1/4-20 points for mounting things on the side, and comes with an arca ball head and plate. At $129 It’s been a great companion of mine on hikes this past year.
@@FreewellGear I’m not comparing the material choice. I simply stated anyone looking for a budget option. $300 is not “budget” for most people. $129 is an easier pill to swallow at the expense of a bit more weight.
This beats there Comanxulanzi which is higher in price that the actual comparison not MT60 with half the features. Lol how you make such an unconstructive comparison
Overpriced crap. Any creators reading this, you do not need this tripod, Peak Designs tripod or any other overpriced tosh that had been given to RUclipsrs for review. Every few months, a new "must have" product is released, and more often than not, you can definitely skip it.
Which cheap tripods are good? Iv enot seen any. Peak Design is the cheapest tone I found and I got it on a nice sale, so was way cheaper. I opted for alu version as I'm mountainbiking an might crash, so did not want the carbon verison. For same reason my camera is padded with elbow pads and a back protector so it's safe I think. But the camera I got second used so saved a lot. The peak design seems robust seems like qualityapart from the phone holder. That's junk, failed after few uses, but I got an A7iv now, don't us emy phone anymore.

Your link to "Buy it here" goes to the Peak Design tripod, may want to change it.
Looks like a winner ❤

Oh thank you. Fits all my needs and the phone holder thing. So cool. ❤ I need to buy a new one anyway.
Its a great little tripod! Enjoy
Budget tripod? $299. Lol
I got the Peak Design cheaper on sale. 👌
@@mtbboy1993 Not worth the money imo
300 bucks is far too much , should be 150 tops , we are all being ripped off
good review & its not personal my criticsm
Reminds me of a Manfrotto I have.
Good Bro
Ulanzi MT60 is also an amazing carbon tripod and it costs 2.5 times less. I skip the phone plate for the 180 euros more lol

I've owned many tripods. Some are cheap garbage and some are great. You get what you pay for. This one I like and have been using daily.

At $300 it’s a hard pass for me. It may be a maybe at half that price.
A decent qualify carbon fiber for $150? Let me know when you find one!
Link seems incorrect.
Thanks fixed
