Try attaching wide rubber bands to the video rod when panning or tilting. The rubber band absorbs a lot of the jitter from our own arms/hands and keeps the tension and movement constant

Thanks for sharing. I know about this hack, but I just wanted to show how it works without it. Cheers.

Using a gimbal and putting on top of fluid head should give you very smooth tilt and pans.

Wow, this looks great. I bought the peak design thinking is the ultimate tripod but i ended up not using it as often due to higher weight, 900g sounds much better, and since i need it for photo i could cut that big knob. The deploying mechanism sounds fantastic as well

Cheers! The Peak Design is going to offer much more stability and precision to adjust, though. I love the Freewell tripod because I don't really need the extra stability and precision, but that's something to keep in mind.

@@RomaFedorov Makes sense, i also heard that this deploying mechanism is not reliable in general, so probably i should wait. I think the IS will compensate to a certain exposure time though

Do you think that if you shoot a video with an action camera and edit it in CapCut, the quality will drop significantly?

I'm not sure. I never used CapCut.

Yeah, it's not cheap, but I think it's well worth the price.

    Another paid review

It wasn't paid, but Freewell did send me the product for review.

Getting sent gear to review is getting paid. You are paid in the goods you receive.

Receiving a product for review and being paid to review are vastly different. reviewer shares his honest opinions without financial compensation from us. His integrity is evident; he has never taken payment for his reviews. As a consumer, using his affiliate links doesn't cost you extra. It's unjust to label his honest feedback as 'paid reviews,' especially when we, as the company, only see the review when it's publicly released. Why not become a creator and than we as company will approach & you do the review than you will probably realize value of someone time without insulting them.
Name a company who doesn’t send product for review and you still purchase there product blindly without knowing anything about it just making decision alone looking at website specs.

@FreewellGear I can name you plenty of creators with the integrity to refuse offers of "free gear in return for a review" Thay says it all to me. Everytime a creator has to say they are not influenced or compromised by receiving free gear to review it is a massive red flag. Of course they are compromised. They want to build their channel so they have a real incentive to produce a positive review. If they put out a video saying "don't buy it" how long will they stay on the gravy-train of free gear and content on a plate?
As for companies that argue in the comments and tell me I'm wrong about this - am I likely to be your customer now? How many others will read this and feel the same?
Put out your own spec videos, let people make up there own mind and then independent purchasers will promote it for you. When I see a dozen or so product reviews on my feed at the same time for a product like yours it immediately puts me off.

@@mattbibbings We're committed to embracing constructive criticism to enhance our products, not to cease collaboration with reviewers who point out flaws, So go back to his previous video on our product where he pointed the flaw so your doubt about gravy train will be clear at least thats what we can talk about ourself, This approach helps us improve.
For those who prefer not to watch certain reviews, there's always the option to skip the video. After all, even the most prominent brands like apple value feedback & send product for review if they are to go with your ttheoryof putting the specs only on their website they won't be the most valued company, and being on a platform like this means engaging constructively.
