I was thinking about using those QuickJack mounts, but there is no way you can install them sideways without tilting them. That is fine at your age, but us old folks aren't built like Arnold anymore. LOL That gap in the top of the QuickJack is 7/8 inch. Not much of a lip in the QuickJack mount. I ended up coming with another solution where I do not have to lift my QJ hydraulic ramps to mount them.
Thanks for the video! I have that same lower ledge along the wall I want to hang mine on, but don't want to have to be holding them until they touch the ground. I'm going to to try another spot where they'll stand directly on the ground. Do you have any issues taking them off the wall because of the weight?
Yes, the QuickJack has to be resting on the ground. The hanger is just for support when falling. However, I see that your wall has a protruding concrete slab where the QuickJack is resting, and I think that's okay. The only problem is lifting the QuickJack that high; it's heavy.
Im much smaller than you and my Quickjacks a bigger (6000elx). Its a tough job. I just bought the lift and the hangers. Im not sure how feasible the hangers are for my jacks (110lbs each) as far as getting the jack on the hanger myself.
Yeah that will be a tough one. With the heavier Jacks, I would put the hangers up so the Jackson are also supported by the floor. If that is not feasible, make it so they can also be supported by a jack stand at the bottom.

That's honestly a great idea... this still hurts haha

Hey, thanks! I actually put mine resting on jackstands I find it pretty easy for the most part!
QJ mount is supposed to be installed lower, so that the jacks are partially resting on the ground, hence taking the weight off your wall
Instructions said nothing of the sort. Based on how it hangs and how no one has the same floor plan, I dont think that's the case.
@@BoltsNBoost there's a video from quickjack that says they should partially rest on the ground
@@danielthomas4018 odd. You'd think it would be in the instructions haha. Definitely for liability.
@@BoltsNBoost lol I agree

The white dots are the taped over screw holes. 😉
Yeah I know haha. I didn't hit those lol
