wooly I'm having a hard time download the brushes. Is there a specific app I need to open the brushes/textures etc with? I am anew subscriber looking to learn. Thanks
I’ve done all of your tutorials. This may be my favorite!! I love your “tattoo” brush. I also love the overlay brush set. I’ve combined it with some Zentangle patters and color. Amazing results and just plain fun!! Thank you!
YAY Melissa, so glad you are loving the brush sets!! This sounds like a cool way to use them 🥰 Thanks for watching and leaving such a lovely comment!! If you post your patterns on Instagram, do tag me; I'd love to see!!
I'm having trouble with the orb glow layer. Whenever I select the orb layer then try to tap the orb glow layer it automatically deselects and I can't continue the steps as you did. Im totally new with procreate so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Hi Briana! It's hard to know without seeing the issue directly, but here's a couple things you can try: - tap the selection tool to bring up the bottom selection toolbar. Make sure that "freehand" is selected, and that "color fill" (the little paint bucket) is turned off (so, not blue). - in the layers panel, tap into the Glow layer so that it's highlighted blue -still in the layers panel, with the Glow layer selected, use two fingers to press and hold on the Orb layer (the one with the circle drawn). When it's selected, the layers panel auto closes, and you'll see the diagonal lines indicating the selection mask pop up. You're already in the Glow layer, so you should be able to proceed from this step. Let me know if this helps!!
Hi Jan, thank you!! And yes, I am! I am making a video about it because it was a bit of a process to find one I liked, but the short answer is - I'm using an Elecom (smooth type) and I've been so pleased with how it has held up and still maintained a paper feel! Highly recommend if you're also on the hunt for a good one!
