That is terrible, and I love it. The original video is visibly brilliant, but the "dead children" theme just creeped me out. But this is lovely, it has something weirdly upbeat about it.
When my niece was a little girl l bought her this poster. Needless to say my sister tended to stay close by. My niece is now in her 30’s with a twisted sense of humor. You’re welcome, love.💖
I think the music of this suits the story pretty damn well. TBH, I always thought something like John Philip Sousa's "The Liberty Bell" would go great over it. It basically fits with the whole premise of making all the deaths seem somewhat whimsical and upbeat, mainly from how the cute elements of the story clash with the upcoming deaths, not to mention the archaic look of the whole thing. A lot of other videos would probably put some scary music box music over this.
Not bad, ever thought about doing a updated version with creepy music? Honestly I would love to see this made into a short film or live action horror movie.
Yeah, if I did go the creepy music route it would be with something I'd compose for it. Then again, keeping it feeling whimsical and absurd would still be a must.

Gorey's Art is distinctive, unique to him, classic & cool. But......(sigh)....there's a very thin line between people who laugh at this & then horrified by 'real' child abuse. Sorry, I am an art fanatic and all for (visual) Art. I don't like every style there is, but I accept all 'styles' & genres as Art forms. But this type of humor(??) is not funny.

Not at all. It inspired me as a 5 or 6 year old to get into darker music and art and make some of my own. Great stuff and I love the art.
