So, at the time when we wrote this, image and implication of N'avi committing suicide seemed like a funny absurdist idea. But nowadays, I wouldn't joke about that kind of thing and I regret including that in the song. If you enjoy this video and/or find it nostalgic, that's fine, but please know that I don't stand by that part of it.

Navi felt ignored since basicly no one listened to her every word of advice on anything in Ocarina of Time. But it's sad how people in real life reacts to the feeling of being ignored all the time and leads to suicide, pretty much like Navi in this song

The Rejected Mainframe [Jesus Lopez] what is canon?
My interpretation was that Zelda wished for Despise's Cycle of Reincarnation to end (or something to that affect) and like a Genie, the Triforce took her words too literally and gave her something she didn't want. It would explain why she died in front of the most powerful objects in her universe, objects that can grant wishes. Another interpretation is that, being a reincarnation of Hylia, she was tired of her own part in the Cycle and wanted to be removed from it completely. Non-cannon of course, but it's fun to think about what creative people like Brent might have imagined.
I want those drawing made into carvings in a creepy underground crypt.

Wrong ghost. It was Pinky that adored Pac-Man. It is noticeable in the Pac-Man TV show.
I think it's a reference to the way his AI was programmed in the original arcade game. As soon as Blinky saw pac-man, he would directly follow behind trying to catch up to him. Other ghosts would try complex methods to surround and get him from the front.
In a way, it was probably also a gay joke.

I've seen a few comments here who think it should be Pinky, instead of Blinky, who adored Pac-Man. I get why that's the case, because Pinky is often the one that traps the player.
I think the song is referring to the way the ghosts are programmed, though. Blinky pretty much chases Pac-Man everywhere. Pinky will head in a different direction, while staying nearby, with the goal of trapping Pac-Man.
Derrick Metras You make a good point but I think those comments are pointing out that Pinky actually had a crush on Pac-Man in Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. Since pretty much none of these deaths are canon, using a non canon source for a reference would be fine.
I get what you're saying about non-canon references. However, that series didn't premiere until a few months after this video was published, so it couldn't be a source of reference.
