As much as Raider jockeys talk about the benefits of the "Ivan's Flash," ECU software update, I couldn't find an actual, real time video on this subject. This video shows you, step-by-step. As part of the Ivan's update, you can choose to keep the stock air intake setup, or go custom. He has ECU flashes for a wide contingency of options. You must have your setup decided on prior to ordering. Ivan's ECU programming controls the proper air-fuel mixture for optimum performance. I chose to replace the stock air filter with the aftermarket K&N. I also removed the air box, which allows more oxygen into the system. The cryptic tank removal to access the air filter is always discussed after the fact. It's never shown or demonstrated. "This is what I did to remove the gas tank...," but we never actually see it happen. It's a really easy upgrade, but expensive, and doesn't include postage. Check out Ivan's Performance website for all the info you need.
Thanks for the video. I love my 2012 Raven Raider S. I had the same cellphone mount TRUST ME get a RAM X-mount it is WAY more secure. And if you are like me and I use my cell as my google maps and for Spotify music to my bluetooth helmet, you don't want your cell taking a fall while riding. Also I would recommend looking into the NOCO jumper, direct to battery connection, and a USB charger to SAE. I have the NOCO connection direct to the battery and it has a plug for trickle charging, jumping, or what I do while I"m riding is plug a USB charger into the port with an adapter between the two so I can run a USB cable to from the front of the seat on top the tank to the bottom of my cell mounted to the bars to keep it charged for rides. I charge it to 100% then unplug and put the USB cable in the X net that comes with the RAM X-mount to hold the cable in place for when my cell gets to under 20%
